  • I made this music video because I'm a huge fan of Jordan Peterson's intellectual genius and Akira the Don's artistic genius, and when Akira combined his art with Jordan's thoughts it was the greatest thing since the chocolate peanut butter cup - except EVERYONE can enjoy it.
    If you are a JBP fan and have not experienced Akira the Don, then you must go to his channel and feast here: / akirathedon

    All I really care about is that this gets seen by as many people as possible, and that Akira's work gets more widely appreciated. It is criminal that the audio single for this doesn't have a million views.

    This music video is the art work of an absolute genius. Thank you so much!
    From the inclusion of Olga Korbut's and the gymnast's 10s, Yulia Lipnitzkaja's Team-Gold peak performance to all other courageous stuff in it, while listening to the fundamental message of the Messias himself--> Don't bother children when they're skateboarding" . Absolutely love it! And of course the lobsters, too :D

      You are the first person to specifically comment on the "firsts" and "perfect tens" I selected for inclusion in this video. The video would not have been possible without Akira the Don's music, and that would not have been possible without JBP. To me it represents the serial creativity that spawns from a bit of optimism, encouragement, and inspiration to produce a useful work of sub-creation. Ultimately Yeshua, our Master Teacher, is the spark responsible for all of it.

    There is truth to this, my friend's father bothered him when he was skateboarding, he ended up rollerblading and then disappeared. Years later I saw him on the corner wearing a high heels.

    • @tmcleanful
      @tmcleanful  5 років тому

      I loved to roller blade, but then it became associated with this kind of stigma and everyone was snickering at me. Why did this have to happen to roller blades?

Every time I hear a beat with some truncated clip of an intellectual talking about psychedelics, philosophy, or what-have-you, I always think "God! I wanna hear a song with Jordan Peterson in it. And then infiltrate the far-Left rave-scene with it." Now at last I've found it! Thank you for posting on that Louder with Crowder video. Rabbit Hole shopping was sure fun tonight!

    One of the things that has happened in our society is that we seem to have concluded that strong men are dangerous that's partly because we think western culture is a tyrannical patriarchy and the only reason you get to the top is because you miss use power so men who are at the top are Miss using their power and they're all tyrannical and all the guys who have the game and ambition to achieve that and have that sort of basic attitude that we have towards our own culture and towards young men now everything about that is pathological and is excusable and shame but you know I used to Watch kids skateboard I like watching those kids skateboard I like watching them do all those crazy things because they're trying to become competent they're facing danger they don't want the damn protective care it's like no I don't wanna wear a helmet I want to expose myself to the dangerous game it's not that I am stupid and the kids are often shooed away we said wait a second they're practising being courageous they're practising mastering something in the face of danger and children who lose steam A lot of the rebellious behaviour of young men in particular which is very frowned upon in the schools it's like that's toxic masculinity or a phrase like leave those kids alone but I moved in Toronto 10 years ago they change the insurance rules governing the playground for these kids change the playground there was nothing wrong with the damn playground but two weeks before school started they rip them all out so there was nothing but dirt and gravel and then they saw the kids running around on top of the roofs of the school because I needed some danger you go see a gymnast and like the gymnast does a flawless routine gets all the applause and the judges give them a 9.9 and then the next person comes off and you figure they're screwed because it's like basically you can't beat a 9.9 Which is basically perfect and how can you do better than perfect and then they do it they do better than perfect everything that they do is that much farther out into chaos than anything they've ever done pushing them selves to the absolute limit of their ability and with every gesture they come back close to making a mistake they've taken this courageous step on their confidence and put everything on the line in a way that's unlike perfect and everybody immediately leaps to their feet and gets a chill you've just seen bonds break where someone has courageously moved past perfection and into the unknown and. Not only ennoble them self but to ennoble humanity itself and then you see tens across the board and they win the gold

      What about all the kids who died from the random chaos of chance? How should we mourn them, and what lesson should we derive from their early deaths? Oh, and why is 18 the magic number - why not 16 or 25?

    I am all for skate boarding and other dangerous activities as long as the kids parents cannot sue if the kid gets hurt. Jordan Peterson is usually brilliant but in this case he is not taking lawyers into account.

    • @tmcleanful
      @tmcleanful  4 роки тому

      Depends on the age - I don't see a lawsuit but possibly inquiries to the parents if a 12-year-old is out on the street at 2 am trying to master the kick flip. In this vid you see a kid about that age who masters a dangerous and difficult stunt and reacts by slamming his helmet into the ground. That says so much.

    Parkour was my thing my thing when I was a teen. I spinal injury stopped me from doing it. I’m now in a wheelchair and people ask me if I regret it. I have had 10 years to think about that question. I would go back in a heartbeat. Not just because it made me happy, but because I was chasing perfection. The danger felt right. It felt good. The world is not safe. Nothing about it gives a damn about you so the only thing to do is to face it head-on and try to achieve something. Sink or swim. Manage the risk, sure, don't be stupid. But NEVER be afraid of taking risks, especially for something you love.
