@@aboutplanes The lh 380 was taken out of service by the airlines because it was unprofitable and is now coming back because so many people want to fly and there are not enough aircraft. But it will soon disappear again. Lh is waiting for the new A350 aircraft and as long as they are not there, the A380 will still be flying with 380 , too Bad 😔
LH is bringing back all 8 A380s. Announced today

Nice to see there are direct flights between Boston and Munich. When I went to Munich from Boston in 1968 I had to fly to JFK and then to Frankfurt and then a long train ride to Munich. 🙄

Lufthansa food quality is great on their flights. The food always tastes good and does not have a ton of artificial ingredients. You get full and then fall asleep!

Logan is one of the better airports to spot at (due to compactness), especially if you like 220s, 330s and 767s.
It is my local Airport, and my first flight was when i was moving from Phoenix AZ to Boston Logan, unfortunately, i was too young to remember it.

The biggest Lufthansa plane in the world
1:30:14 Look how the wing changes shape after no longer generating enough lift, amazing
Watch closely during take off and you can see the opposite happening - as the plane accelerates the wing straightens as it generates lift and the tip rises a good two metres!
P.S. The effect is more visible on some other A380 videos that show the whole wing.
It seems this flight was about 65-75 % full. Maybe not as well booked as LH would like. But these are already more passengers than would have fitted into an A340-600. Let's hope the A380 makes economically sense, we will see all 8 LH-A380s, and can enjoy them for a couple of years!
