5:20 correction, im pretty sure the reason why isn't because cyn built them. They had those arm bands even before they were turned into DDs, you can see them in the mansion flashbacks. CYN-MYKX is likely a specific model or version of drone specific to the Elliot mansion or that time frame. Cyn was named after the P/N because her S/N was withered off. One other extra detail about this so called “S” character if you look closely, it says “lights below” S may be Sentinels since we know the sentinels have a blinding light for worker drones, therefore I think this “S” character is just the Sentinels and also to mention the humans didn’t really love the robotic dinosaurs either. (Also there are many scratch marks on the paper most likely caused by sentinels) This was a very interesting theory though but i doubted the fact they made another character. Also thanks for all the comfirmation makes my mind for clear about matpat’s theories! :) Edit: Also The Reason why Sentinels have a Product number is because they ARE ROBOTS TOO. Don’t let the fact that because the drones are the “humans” of this world and that every other robot-like animal is a actual animal. They all have product numbers at some point
I think that Matpat was onto something when he was talking about CYN weeding out the others. I feel like it wasn't backed up by the right info though. With the season ending soon, it'll be sort of exciting to see where the fandom takes it, whether it be by fanfiction (Praying for normal ones), headcanons, even custom episodes (Like Intermission by Goulinfuchia, if anyones watched that. If you haven't I recommend it, its a really nice segway into ep 5 from ep 4.) I personally don't know if Liam Vickers will explain more of the show and its lore once its over, but either way Im hoping that the fandom takes creative liberty and itll stay alive for a little longer.
3:30 We don't actually know if that's its main purpose, since it is clearly self-aware and probably capable of deception. J was a convenient host, but it definitely had _more_ than enough material to repair her after even a couple kills given the main missing component was the head, so her death was probably used as an excuse for it to manifest and wreak havoc on the otherwise-protected Worker Drone population in Outpost 3.
In my opinion Nori will be in episode 8, since Uzi jumps in the same abyss in which Nori fell, soooo, I think they'll spend some time together in space... but that's just a theory (A Film Theory)
I doubt that he was primarily responsible for writing the episode, given that he has whole teams of people making these things in order to get them out weekly on multiple channels. If he did watch and contribute to writing, he probably only had time for a cursory glance at the show, leaving the rest of the writers to fill in everything else.

Im like 99% sure the serial designation S stands for sentinel i mean there was literally a sentinel claw in the paper it was on so all the more likely it was from labs where the sentinels were held to keep nori in place and try to experiment on her or cure her of cyns corruption (edit: also forgot the fact there is literally a drawing of a sentinel next to the drones corpse)
Apparently Cyn's goal was to obtain "rebirth" E1? Uzi's presitation said something like "destruction" "create" "rebirth" I havent checked it in awhile so not 100% sure if that is what was shown.

@@Frankie_and_fwoggie turns out it didn't, in the ending of episode 8 we that they "got too focused on Spooky corpse reveal and worked there way back from there"
btw, S might be a real character knowing that i have proof for a season 2.. back in ep 8, after the credits, when Uzi looks in that mirror from her locker, she turns into a absolute solver hologram thingy in the mirror before coming back to normal and we also notice how cyn is now controling Uzi's tail.. well, my theory is that CYN is actually a drone being controled by the absolute solver and the absolute solver uses CYN as it's drone form and for proof, CYN can't be in 2 places at the same time, not even Uzi can but in ep 5, we see the absolute solver and CYN at the gala and the absolute solver with N too so that means that the absolute solver is the one who can be in multiple places at the same time and it uses CYN as it's drone form so that means that when Uzi destroyed CYN's heart, she actually just destroyed the heart of a drone being completly possesed by the absolute solver and in ep 8 we can see that the video Uzi was showing the class for the presentation wasn't over yet so what if something else hapend after that and Uzi is a hologram?? who knows?? but all we know for now is that the creators are now working on the amazing digital circus and once that is over, we might get more news about murder drones or even a season 2 so we should just wait to see if my theory about a season 2 and Uzi being a hologram is true or not (second theory about S: S might be a real character or even J's OC since in that one video about murder drones merch, at the part where J tells us about that notebooks and how we don't want people to see our 'cringy' OC's, we see that when she opens or closes(i forgot is she opened or closed the notebook) that notebook, we even see a OC names S)`
so the part with the end of tadc there might be a s2 of md after it yea i think theyll be working on gaslight district and after that maybe well get a md s2
You forgot something. Yeva was patched which gave her more control over the powers of the absolute solver and immunity from being controlled by it. Being patched meant that she could have been used against Cyn. It's also why she killed Doll. Since she inherited her patched solver from her mother. And Uzi could have regenerated. Since it seems you only need the heart/core of a drone to turn into the eldritch abomination and rebuild the host. So, it could may have been Cyn trying to mess with N since she knows he cares about Uzi.
I don't think Doll was fully patched, since we see her right eye blink with a Yellow (not orange) AS after "Tessa" cuts her button off. I imagine Doll is resistant, not immune
That's why it's called a theory. It's not guaranteed to be correct despite all the evidence. Theories are meant to be debunked. That's why if a theory is proven wrong, we shouldn't ridicule the creator of the incorrect theory for being wrong, we should celebrate that they tried, and that we got closer to the real answer behind the theory.
@@Excavator32 I'm just saying. I never said you did ridicule MatPat, but I've seen people laugh at other people's debunked theories, and that's just wrong
the "cyn" in N's and V's P/N is probably not because cyn build the disassembly drones, but rather an indicator for the dronetype. The reason why it is the same as cyn's name is because while N, V and J got named after their S/N, cyn's S/N was destroyed to the point of being unreadable and so tessa had to refer to the P/N instead (which would be the same for all of them)
Given that N's armband in Episode 5 says he's "marked for Disassembly" while the armband of his Disassembly Drone form refers to him as a 'Disassembly Drone' It's fair to assume that Cyn changed their P/N aswell.

We do infact see the Solver literally speak to Cyn when she wakes up in the dumps. It's not just some program that showed up in Cyn's programming and Cyn is using. It's the other way around. The Solver is an entity that calls itself The Solver of The Absolute Fabric, the Void, the Exponential End. It manifests in AI hosts as a program, and use of that program gradually increases the entity's influence over the host until full possession. Cyn was the Solver's initial link to manifest and basically acts as the Solver's avatar.
That paper only showed up in episode 7, which was after the Film Theory video came out, so Mat wouldn't have known.
@@syweb2 Yep, I wonder if we'll get a Film theory now that the series is finished. idk tho
(You can see this in episode 7 when Cynessa/flesha was first introduced)
@@colfy3961 the armbands were "Marked For Disassembly" when they were worker Drones. Pretty sure Cyn changed the armband, removing the "Marked For Disassembly" and adding the iconic MD Skull in its place.
Edit: I went and checked to make sure, the armbands also label them as "Disassembly Drone" now, Cyn changed the armbands 100%
@@Excavator32 you're right but even so, I still believe Cyn was named after the P/N and that N,V, and J had the same P/N in the mansion. @@RyanneWalther that's fair. Still a good watch for sure, just wish they put more effort into it being accurate.

If you haven't I recommend it, its a really nice segway into ep 5 from ep 4.)

@@notapurse he could've been, but there was theories with far more evidence (I.e. Tessa being dead) and this one just wasn't it

J was a convenient host, but it definitely had _more_ than enough material to repair her after even a couple kills given the main missing component was the head, so her death was probably used as an excuse for it to manifest and wreak havoc on the otherwise-protected Worker Drone population in Outpost 3.

btw, S might be a real character knowing that i have proof for a season 2.. back in ep 8, after the credits, when Uzi looks in that mirror from her locker, she turns into a absolute solver hologram thingy in the mirror before coming back to normal and we also notice how cyn is now controling Uzi's tail.. well, my theory is that CYN is actually a drone being controled by the absolute solver and the absolute solver uses CYN as it's drone form and for proof, CYN can't be in 2 places at the same time, not even Uzi can but in ep 5, we see the absolute solver and CYN at the gala and the absolute solver with N too so that means that the absolute solver is the one who can be in multiple places at the same time and it uses CYN as it's drone form so that means that when Uzi destroyed CYN's heart, she actually just destroyed the heart of a drone being completly possesed by the absolute solver and in ep 8 we can see that the video Uzi was showing the class for the presentation wasn't over yet so what if something else hapend after that and Uzi is a hologram?? who knows?? but all we know for now is that the creators are now working on the amazing digital circus and once that is over, we might get more news about murder drones or even a season 2 so we should just wait to see if my theory about a season 2 and Uzi being a hologram is true or not (second theory about S: S might be a real character or even J's OC since in that one video about murder drones merch, at the part where J tells us about that notebooks and how we don't want people to see our 'cringy' OC's, we see that when she opens or closes(i forgot is she opened or closed the notebook) that notebook, we even see a OC names S)`

I imagine Doll is resistant, not immune

the "cyn" in N's and V's P/N is probably not because cyn build the disassembly drones, but rather an indicator for the dronetype.

It actually is that the Absolute Solver is a seperate entity that possessed Cyn. We can see the Absolute Solver contact and speak with Cyn when Cyn first wakes up, manipulating her to invite the entity inside.
The Absolute Solver wants to eliminate the other Solver hosts, leaving only Cyn and the Disassembly Drones it created through Cyn, because it doesn't need them and they represent potential threats to the Solver's overall goals.
Solver hosts that retain their independence and can not be possessed are really the ONLY thing that can stop the Solver, and the existance of things like the Patch Crucifix USB (before the Solver destroyed it) represented a huge threat to the Absolute Solver. The Solver was somewhat aware that the humans were working on ways to stop it in Cabin Fever Labs, and it knew it was something related to excorcising Solver hosts of the Solver's possession - producing hosts that can tap into the Solver's power WITHOUT falling to its influence.
This is why the Absolute Solver wanted to destroy all the other hosts. This is why it wants to only keep Cyn as its main host. It doesn't actually need any of the others, it's well on the way to (and very close to) consuming the universe using only Cyn. The other Solver hosts are just obstacles it would rather be rid of, because they are the only thing that can stand against it if they manage to retain their independence through things like the Patch Crucifix.
