Saw this group in a tiny little bar in an obscure little alley in Shinjuku Japan in 1994. My girlfriend heard they'd be playing a set there and took me and a couple friends to go see them. It was probably the most intimate music experience I had had up to that point in my life. It's something I'll never forget and when I hear this song it brings me right back to that tiny little bar on an obscure little alley on the other side of the world...

I am listening to this after I got a random driver here in Bali who was blasting this and was singing along... great song and so very nice to sing along too.
When I was 11 or 12, this was my favourite song that I was hearing on my local radio station. This was the first CD I ever bought (it ended up being defective, and I traded it in for Tuesday night Music Club, because they didn't have any more copies) Anyway - 30 years later, I heard this song come on while I was sitting at Starbucks this morning, and here I am!
Awesome. ... This was the first CD that I ever bought too (I was a freshman in college). Not too long after, I bought Tuesday Night Music Club and Yes I Am (Melissa Etheridge). ... I bought Shape when it came out. After that, I lost track of Frente!
I’m the same age as Angie Hart. My wife, daughter, and I saw Frente! for free at a Live 105 sponsored outdoor concert in San Francisco (the Embarcadero). We were in the very front, standing behind a velvet rope and less than ten feet from the band. People came and went behind us but we watched the whole set. This was when they only had an EP out and only in Australia, although you could get an import from Amoeba or any decent record store. We had heard 3 of their songs on the radio (one of the DJs was promoted them a bit because he was Australian), and we bought the EP at the gig and had it signed by Angie. We also stayed and talked to Angie and Simon for 10-15 minutes as they were packing up afterwards and they were delightful, very normal people. I remember being pleasantly surprised when they got “big” for a couple albums and sad when they split up. Good times.
This song really reminds me of the time when I was a kindergarten in 1994. And sadly whenever I hear this song, I remember my classmate whose father committed suicide. He shot himself around 9AM and the news spread all over so our teacher asked her to go back home. I guess it must be very difficult for our teacher to take her to their house. Actually, their house was just next to our school.
Wow, everyone's journey is different. This song transports me back in time to when I was in the US Army, stationed at Ft. Lewis. Being 19, I was just a kid then too. Hard to believe we will be nearing 30 years since 1994.

I'm going through some heavy depression. And no one to talk to it about. These are one of these songs that really stands out.
Please find someone to talk to. Wishing you the best.
Seek some help. There are people out there trained to hear you
Sometimes music really gets me through it
remember you are loved, needed, valued and more powerful and significant than you can imagine.
Hang on. It'll get better.
"Bizarre Love Triangle"
Every time I think of you
I get a shot right through
Into a bolt of blue
It's no problem of mine
But it's a problem I find
Living the life that I can't leave behind
There's no sense in telling me
The wisdom of a fool won't set you free
But that's the way that it goes
And it's what nobody knows
And every day my confusion grows
Every time I see you falling
I get down on my knees and pray
I'm waiting for the final moment
You say the words that I can't say
I feel fine and I feel good
I feel like I never should
Whenever I get this way
I just don't know what to say
Why can't we be ourselves
Like we were yesterday
I'm not sure what this could mean
I don't think you're what you seem
I do admit to myself
That if I hurt someone else
Then I'll never see
Just what we're meant to be
Every time I see you falling
I get down on my knees and pray
I'm waiting for the final moment
You'll say the words that I can't say
Every time I see you falling
I'll get down on my knees and pray
I'm waiting for the final moment
You'll say the words that I can't say
