This type of honesty is much easier than the interior shame, guilt, and hopelessness. Maybe not for every addict, but when you're a crackhead your secrets keep you sick. Owning those secrets is the way away from the pipe, maybe the only permanent way. I misspent 20 years afraid and ashamed. I'm not either anymore, 6 years free 3/22.

This is one of the most honest and spot on drug related interviews I have EVER seen. This guy says the things all addicts are aware of, but may not know the words to explain, either through lack of knowledge, drug haze, ignorance, whatever. Watching this has made me 100% ashamed of my past, but 1000%proud of the changes we have both made in our lives, because its a soul crushing addiction that not many people understand, the grip is unreal and the daily ability to STAY clean IS something to be proud of. Nice 1 Marvin 👌🏽😁keep it up mate, and blessings to you and your family, stay happy 💜

I’m glad this man has found a happier life after a really bad start in life. Living proof you can change your life around. So happy for him and wish him all the best. He would be great at going around schools telling he’s story and helping kids turn their life around.

So much love for the person that’s come thru the other side after having gone thru all of that. I’m in tears 😭
