This of course means an updated tips guide will be coming and you better believe its gonna be a BIG one. Some of his best changes are not in the combo realm but in the setups one. This might be the first tips guide I make that has a chance of challenging the Kollector guide for longest tips guide ever cause I got A LOT of Broly knowledge to give yall.
Used your guides for both Z Broly and DBS Broly, and now I just can't put the two characters down. Especially on the same team! You're doing a good job, man!

I feel that medium lariat buff is insane. The fact that if someone is getting too slap happy with beams can suddenly find themselves losing a large chunk of health cross screen along with being cornered is just brutal. Though need to experiment with his EX air grab...forgot that existed...like every EX move in this game before S3 really!
@@vmox7453 yea its unsafe but armor helps and I get alot of times when people z change from being pressured in the corner on the medium grab or eraser blow the character coming in hits broly but armor activates and the move obviously misses but they land normally like you blocked it and you still get a full corner combo

My goodness I just love Broly’s theme song in this game , He’s my favourite character in dragon ball and this game really captures his abilities and fighting style perfectly . 👍 As a broly main I can’t wait to try adding some of these to my toolkit.

So I was right to be running the Videl B assist! Thanks so much for this, now I can finally see what people are doing during that delayed level 3! This will definitely help as Broly is probably my weakest on the team despite me playing him since he came out
I remember everybody harping on his low combo damage at first but now with all the system changes on top of his M lariat buff, the low damage is more than fair.
@@MrCactuar13 Damage matters. Bardock has been sitting at the top of the tier list from day 1 partly because he does so much damage despite being a really simple character.
@@N00BSYBORG Think about how he gets that damage in the first place. Lariat steals the neutral and when backed up by assists can lead to conversions taking you to the corner. Damage doesn't matter until you have a way to enable that damage.
What I learned for to deal with brolys scaling is Switching mid combo. You can do a ton of damage with Broly then end with his air grab, teleport kick them while holding switch and continue said combo into any finisher you like, adds a bit more damage and worth it if you hey it down.

I am new to the game and have been practicing the Broly BnB with beam assist, but every time I super dash the enemies are always able to tech out of it. When I do the the enemy does not bounce off the wall like they do in the video after getting hit by the beam. Thank~

When I use Green Barrier and EX Lariat at the same time, The only thing that can stop this is Lvl 1 and Lvl 3. I bum rushed through 2 assists and a Maseko. It even beats Kefla spin ball thingy
Is there any way to follow up on Broly's moves without assists? A friend and I like to play 1v1 and I'm never sure what to do afetr I land a lariat or other move that knocks them away
one thing i noticed in the past though, is that if you start a combo in the corner with medium command grab, you cant' finish it with light command grab after dragon rush. in that case, what could be a valid option? because nothing else gives sliding knockdown
That's pretty out of date. A lot of the things against him were basically bugs/oversights that have long been addressed. Basically best way to fight broly now is don't get impatient cause he will kill you for it.
Hey rooflemonger I’m having an issue with his alternate corner bnb. After the 5 ki blast in the corner either the stand h doesn’t connect or if the stand h connects the super dash doesn’t is there a tip you can give me to land it more consistently?
For that it means there was a point of failure earlier on. When you dash forward LL you have to do it quick, if you let them fall too much that means by the time you can get the H-> homing dash off, they are too low to the ground and will fall out. Its all about the speed after you follow up from the eraser blow.

I have been thinking of getting back into this game (Fighterz is the first fighting game I purchased since Street Fighter 2 on the SNES in the early 90s) and Broly was my favorite character I played back in Season 1. I have not played a fighting game since but with the recent changes I think it is something I want to get back into. Any recommendations for other characters to team him with which are good for fighting game newbies and which assists to use?
Broly honestly nowadays fits on a fair amount of teams. You can't go wrong with a beam assist but my biggest suggestion is just play who you like and go with that. Its a lot harder to go wrong in Season 3 now that things are much more opened up with assists and the like than before.

if you are talking about the rejump, its jump UP for the first one, then jump FORWARDS for the second one. Make sure to check the combo notations in the video description if you have any issues

Depends on the buttons you are using! Assuming you on a stock ps4 pad, qcb+r1 is the "fast" one, qcb+r2 is the "delayed" one. When people have multiple level 3 supers you have to use different buttons!
I only bought it because I love Dragon Ball Z abridged by TeamFourStar. Even if you haven't watched the original show, it's a laugh riot. Check it out sometime
@@-Samus-Aran- I actually think ive never seen Dragon ball, maybe when i was a kid but i didnt care for it What do i care, its an awsome tag team game with the visuals from arc studios that always deliver, was at 15$, i had to buy it Anyway, ill probably watch at least a couple of episodes, becaseu my teams consist of people who i think look cool And then again, Broly is literally double de size of most of the cast, and he yells a lot How can i not pick him up, i could buy some more characters but ill wait for the ultimate edition or something that brings all the characters, like i normally do And the game is fun as fuck, i love combos and you can be creaaaaaative on this one So now im just watching dragon ball tournaments for a living

The dialogue is cringe inducing, every character's motives and decisions are constantly questionable, and the plot, if you can call it that, is more contrived than True Blood. DBZ abridged, however, is witty and fun. With characters you end up caring about

medium lariat is super slow, and you can punish that shit by jumping or blocking.

Light lariat express can go into lvl 3 in a combo after launcher is used
back in season 2 you could combo his Alt lvl3 with L Lariat and you can still combo off of it.
