Broly combos have evolved a lot since he came out. Back then everyone though he was dogshit but I stuck with him because of nostalgia and now I’m glad he’s getting his recognition. OG Broly holds a special place in my heart
Yeah, and even still I think ArcSystem did him dirty, especially when conpared to Super Broly. I mean, we can't even do the Lariat in the air, and he only has 2 Ults. In the first movie, during his first fight with Goku (When he attacked Goku during his sleep), he did this major ki attack where he charged it in his palm and released hundreds of ki blasts that ravaged the surrounding forest. There's also a bunch of hand to hand moves they didn't give him, like when he rushes pass you and elbows you in the back. I love playing him simply because he's the Lengendary Ssj but I wish he had more style.
With the level one with Broly if you bring out spirit bomb right as the game lets you Brolys attack launches the opponent high enough to get hit by spirit bomb

Subbed to help you hit 1k! Solid guide dude! Broly is such a monster with meter. I just started posting stuff for this game. Not promoting, cuz I literally have no plans. But I have some fun options for my team, if you're interested in Base Vegeta or Cell. Twitter is where I normally find tech. But there are way more people with UA-cam than twitter, so it's weird there are less short combo/tech videos here. Plenty of character guides etc, but when you just want a bit sized example there are hardly any. Think it's because you can't monetize a 20second video haha.

I think the reason for the short stuff vs long stuff is a matter of the landscape of the platform, if you made a 20 second video on youtube people would wonder why you didnt explain the combo and if you make a 10 - 20 min guid on twitter people would wonder why you didnt just post it on youtube ya know
im almost certain a beam should work just fine as some c assists hit the enemy when they get close to the ground just like most beams. As long as the beam holds them down for long enough time to give you the time to land and dragon rush then i dont see why it shouldnt work. the timing might be strict but it certainly seems possible, so long as it's not a beam like Tien where it hits once and pops you up.

i dont know your other assist but try using trunks at the start instead. if you choose to use trunks last then his hit stun might have super hard timing so you may need to have the beam hit last-second giving you just enough time to land and do your thing. now i havent tried it so its possible it wont have enough hit stun but it should have enough.

if you're doing the one that creates the larger explosion then you might either be missing or adding an attack someone where messing with the hit stun or the timing is off. those are the only two things i can think of. this combo should work just fine, may take some time to get consistent but it works
Insert Coin forgot to mention the team I was using was broly, vegito(C assist) and goku black(A assist) they work well until that part for the lvl three I’m only doing the moves demonstrated but I guess it might be timing not sure but I’ll keep giving it a go thanks for the reply

nope, some do much more damage and some do much less. I though trunks should be able to kill because to my understanding he does lots of damage but i could be wrong about that as i dont play him. It might also be your level ones not doing enough too

To have an assist come in with a level 3 instead, hit back and the corresponding assist button you'd like to have perform the move. Another way to dhc is to perform a combo and as you knock the opponent back to the ground, instead of doing a level one of your own you can call in the assist to level one or level 3, by doing half circle forward ( for level 1) or half circle back for level 3 then hit the assist button that corresponds to the character you want to call in. This method is not used for the combo in the tutorial but i figgured id share it because it can help you in a pinch
