THANK YOU Dustin & John for allowing me to be on the show!! I was hella nervous, but super grateful and it felt so surreal to go from a super-fan to on the show…a dream come true!!!
Aixa, you have such a sweet, vibrant spirit! I love it!! I am a newly licensed MLO as well!! Thanks for your transparency! Wishing you a ton of success & blessings along your upcoming journey!!!
Amazing episode!! I couldn’t agree with you more about Xinnix (i’m more of a hands on kind of person) although I don’t regret ground school - I feel like I wasn’t able to retain everything- thank goodness for those pdfs though! 😊 great training material. Ty for sharing your story - new LO here 👋🏼 this was veryyyy encouraging ❤ty to you both!
The UA-cam algorithm put this on my feed at my 6 wk mark. I loved this! I am also a bilingual LO who comes from a service background. I'd love to see where Aixa is today 😁
Just got my license in FL!!! I know it's a hard time for MLO's, but I'm excited to learn and grow with the industry! I am also going for my Real Estate License as well, now that we they allow it!
@@meijones8690 I did find a job, and I am still waiting on my first deal. I am building my network and have a great team supporting me! The people who started the same time as me are starting to make money, it's been about two months. I almost have my real estate agents license as well.
Super cool of you to have Aixa on the podcast! I love the backstory and getting her perspective being brand new to the industry. I passed the NMLS exam a couple weeks ago and got hired on to a great team. Looking forward to starting the new career path soon. Keep it up 💪
Thanks for the feedback Sophia and welcome to the industry! Be sure to spread the good word and let us know if there are any topics you would like us to cover in the future!
I feel JUST like Aixa! I can't stand feeling incompetent. I'm a super newbie MLO and I find myself crippling from not knowing, what feels like, ANYTHING ABOUT ANYTHING. 😬🤦♀️
I've got 30 yrs of real estate experience but being an MLO is SO different. Very difficult for me to go from being very competent to know nothing! And not having a mentor makes it even worse. Good luck to you!
The Loan Officer Podcast has been a great help to me. Getting on-boarded to RWM Inc. to start my Loan Officer career. Brought up Xinnix during my interview and they loved the inside knowledge. Took the Ground School which they provided and now I'm debating signing up for Flight(would be out of pocket). Waiting to see what kind of training they offer. Supper excited and thankful.
THISSSS is soooo true!! I have been saying this, the barrier of entry is impossible! The training is non existent and there is none. Like how do we even do encompass etc its so difficult. I became a realtor because I had this exact experience and I have tried for two years but nothing.
I’m starting next week as a new loan officer here in Jax, I’m a fan of your show I been listening for a long time now ,,I’m ready to succeed on this business and be in your show one day !!!! 😁👍
Thank you so much for the well needed inspiration to get back into my studys and to realize we all have lifes excuses, have alot going on but We determine how much effort we put into things in our life
Currently listening all the way from Arkansas. Trying to switch careers definitely subscribed to the channel. I’ve registered for my classes and in 2-3 weeks hope to pass the test. Thank. For the advice and information!
Just passed my SAFE Exam! Super grateful for the constant inspiration you guys have put out there! Excited to become a part of the cool kids. Tell JaaaaaaaayC thank you! Can't wait to subscribe to the website!
Hi Dustin, do you have an advice for me please? I’m coming into the industry with no experience with mortgages. 36 yo, stay at home mum for the last 4.5 years. Prior to that Office Manager / HR manager for corporate finance and asset management firms in London. Have a masters degree. Driven & sting work ethic. About to get qualified, then starting to approach local brokerages. What do I focus on the interviews? Transferable skills? Is my 4.5 yr break will be problematic? Just how hard is it for mothers to return to work after such a long break? Do you have any examples of women who did this who I could approach please? Thank you so much 🙏
Awwwww thank you Tiatamara for your comment! I know Dustin has had some super stellar producers and I am just a newbie so glad it was helpful to you! ❤️
I wanna say “SOAR” is the course she took after doing a quick search. Look at me being my own problem solver, definitely think this is going to be the best career change ever and I’m so fired up to start my journey!
It’s XINNIX ground school - they have 3 schools - first one is ground school, second is flight school and the last one is (I forget) but that’s the interactive class with a live instructor
HI! I'm also brand new bilingual FL MLO!! I work for Pacific Wholesale Mortgage! They are 100% commission but they do train you and they offer mentorship and marketing training to everyone. This company has been a blessing because of what they offer to their brand new MLOs. This episode made me want to tell you about us so more brand new Licensed MLOs can consider them when looking for their first MLO job. Thanks :)

Thank you for all the LO Advice super helpful. You do go on talking a whole lot, and your guest barely gets to speak, however.

Is there a Waterstone in Central TX?
You guys don't even know how important this episode to someone like me

Thanks for the support Donald - keep up that mentality!
Great video! I’m career change as well and wanted to know What exact course she took on Xinnix to help me prep for the actual course?

Does Xinnix have the 20hr pre licensure course or do you take Xinnix after obtaining your NMLS license? What was it that she did?
Hi Aixa, why did you left Waterstone and why did you left the mortgage industry?
Thank you
How you know she left?
Can't wait to start my journey, just have to past my test any tips!?
Hey Julia - that's awesome! Check out this episode, should help you out with passing your test: ua-cam.com/video/qgfkNLjn-3M/v-deo.html
Shoutout to Taylor Morrison!!! former employee
How to find a company who will work with newbies?
You might want to check out a call center type of environment if you're just looking to get started.
5k soon!
Nailed! Next stop is 10k.
🚀
You’ should do a pod cast with Ben Anderson.
Thanks for the suggestion Zac!
What MLO online Course do you all suggest?!
Xinnix's Ground School for learning the basics of how to pre-qualify a borrower.
She didn’t get a chance to say a word for the first 7 minutes. That was extremely awkward for me to watch and listen
Hello, Is Xinnix for everyone or only residents in Florida?
Edit: Never mind I answered my own question 😂

Maybe allow the guest's to tell their own stories. Host's usually ask the questions.
It sure is taking you a long time to get to the subject matter. What is the reason? 4 minutes so far............:D
I think Dustin did a great job - thanks D.O! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can you provide information about this zenex website mentioned please
Sure thing - Xinnix.com
