Wow. Wow. WOW! YOU GUYS! THIS TURNED OUT GREAT! Totally worth the wait! Jeff, you did an amazing job! Seriously, what the heck! I'm so impressed! You really brought the story to life. It was an honor to hear your final product. Wow. I'm still in awe. Thank you again for this opportunity! Hopefully I can submit more work in the future.
Dan David I'm so glad you're happy with this, Dan. It's a great story and the material was a ton of fun to work with. I especially enjoyed being the monster.
Narrator/Composer/Executive Producer Jeff Clement here. Just wanted to say a big thanks to author Dan David. I really, really enjoyed working on this production. There was so much creative sound design that came from the writing, which is what I love to do, and some genuinely great chills. The fact that this came from a fan submission makes it that much cooler to me. We love that we can work together with our fans to tell original stories. I hope you guys enjoy listening to it as much as I did making it. Oh, and this one is best experienced with your headphones on and your volume up.
Good work on the sound effects, the "demonic roar" was really scary. The stories are already good, but the way you guys kept ongoing sound effects made the story very easy to visualize. The narator has a very distinct clear voice, and very good "emotion" to drive the listener. I listen to these at work, at my desk with headphones, and they make the day go quicker, thanks guys!
I love how this video doesn't have music playing the entire time. I'm also loving the sound effects. Sometimes, stories are better without background music, especially horror stories. In most creepy pasta videos you hear on youtube, they have unnecessary music playing. This is one reason why I love CTFDN.
It HAD to be one of those endings where it leaves you knowing that the boy will be ready to get back at the man and see if he has the pills. Awesome story and I loved the banshee scream thing the kid did, I was obsessed with that for some reason
I love this story! It's one of my very favorites in the Chilling Tales cannon, and Jeff Clement is one of my favorite Tales voice actors. My compliments to the author!
It's about 1:30 am. I was listening to this with my noise canceling headphones nearly at full volume and right when it ended, my cat jumped into my bed... I accidentally punted him off the bed in fear.
Great Story! I think there is a lesson in this one. Something along the lines of, mind your own business or you may learn something you do not want too.
"The boy can wait" stupid protagonist mistake #1.. after he said that, I was like nooooo.. he can't! Idiot.. lol loved the story Dan David! Great narration Jeff Clement!
Best story I've heard so far! Great narrator, sound effects, and story line! I had chills all over my body when I heard the unearthly scream, and I can't wait to hear the first and second place tales!
AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! 'hides' I can't! >.< Thank you for this it is the first one that freaked me out this bad in a while lol ugh!! AND IT IS NIGHT TIME!!
A good thriller suspense story is all about surprises and jumping out of your seat at sounds, or sudden moments that you least expect to happen. It doesn't need blood, guts, gore, chainsaws, knives, or anything like that to be scary. The image, the picture you see of the swing and the lettering is enough to trigger curiosity, and make you know this is going to be a scary story. Well done and keep up the good work.
Today they releaseed this story again except Otis was the narrator. It was good but you are my favorite. I heard this story from you first. I've listened to it at least 5 times. Thank you. God bless ✝️
I have finally found a CTFDN that I am completely satisfied with. If this is a 3, I am blown away. Holy crap. I am so scared.. Great Job. The music, sounds, and narrator's voice all meshed together perfectly. I am terrified.
The Music in this video is Just Fascinating. I wish there was another channel from you guys called "Chilling Music for Dark Nights" The Story is Amazing as Well, Love Your Work Guys.
No! It was only after I recorded the banshee wail and heard it through the 12 filters I passed it through that the hairs on my neck stood up. I'm usually never effected by it.
I have literally heard this tale so many times and I swear that it never gets old! Ever since I heard it in late July I knew that this story was going to be the main one I referred people to when they too want another thrill factor in their life. This was my 1st time hearing it with my home audio system and I was so exciting for that howl to come on. Way past my expectations!
So after re-hearing this again a question popped into my head : What if the pills weren't mistakenly put in his mailbox? like a systematic process of new victims taking on the job of keeping that thing in check.
I often listen scarry stories to sleep, and i dont actually listen, just for white noise. But this story got me wake up in the middle of the night in cold sweat because of the snarl. Good job, i often come back just to appreciate it
The Swing, Home, I'm at your Bedroom Window & A story to scare my son are some of my favourite CTFDN stories, some great twists and chilling sounds accompanied by great narrating make for some truly chilling tales. 😮
Awesome job, Dan and Jeff -- you managed to scare the girl who usually laughs gleefully at the scary parts of stories! My hands are shaking. I might actually have trouble getting to sleep tonight.
Maybe because he feels that no one would believe him. Or maybe he thinks that the police know something about what happened and might try to cover it up?
I agree about the old man, but it is mentioned that the cop is clearly lying about the coyote attack. Now, that could just be because the cops have no clue what happened, but if that's the case why lie about it?
Aural Stimulation I think the cops' first guess, the cayotes, is more likely than a monster boy with fangs (people in horror stories doesn't know they're in one). They may have a feeling there's foul play involved, maybe that's the reason they seem hesitant to announce the cause.
Wow. Wow. WOW!
Amazing work,
This is one of the few pastas that actually managed to give me chills
Dan David I'm so glad you're happy with this, Dan. It's a great story and the material was a ton of fun to work with. I especially enjoyed being the monster.
Great wok dan, very professional. And Jeff, as always, perfect execution.
it was really good! I loved it!
You must be a very, VERY sick man to have written this... I loved it.

Jeff Clement great reading, good sir.
Good work on the sound effects, the "demonic roar" was really scary. The stories are already good, but the way you guys kept ongoing sound effects made the story very easy to visualize. Brandon Heard Aural Stimulation What an awesome comment! Thanks, Brandon! We're glad to hear that we are the highlight of part of your day!
christ that shriek turned my blood cold. who the hell came up with that???
I pooped myself😂👏
really scary😱😱😭😭😖😫😰💩💩😮😶
Jim Manahan I was sitting in my room alone in bed and I completely tensed up when that scream happened.
holy shit, that scream was the creepiest. This story is one of the best I've heard thus far. Well done.
Thanks *****. It was a lot of fun doing the scream.
Aural Stimulation | Jeff Clement thats a good reading jeffy boy
I love the Lovecraftian feel to it.
"Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Langer! It's a...Demon ghoul thing?"
Jeff Clement is the best reader ever, loved this.
Thanks so much Eric Northrop :)
I love how this video doesn't have music playing the entire time. I'm also loving the sound effects. Sometimes, stories are better without background music, especially horror stories. In most creepy pasta videos you hear on youtube, they have unnecessary music playing.
This is one reason why I love CTFDN.
Good god that roar !! One of the best things i've ever heard. If only this could be made into a short film
Agreed
Jeff Clement!
You are my favorite narrator!!
You should read more stories!!!
Ok that was a GOOOOD one. the ending was GREAT. The roar was scared the shit out of me. Great narration!
Thanks Damian Callahan
It HAD to be one of those endings where it leaves you knowing that the boy will be ready to get back at the man and see if he has the pills. Awesome story and I loved the banshee scream thing the kid did, I was obsessed with that for some reason
This is by far one of my favorite narrations. From anyone. Excellent job. The writer, narrator, editor, all should be very proud of this.
I agree :)
Allison minto its just SO GOOD
I lived it to but not super scary as some of the others like wake up
I mean I'm coming up the stairs
Arad Ara god I couldn't sleep after that one
If I had an incident like that:
1. Report 911
2. Fuck the rent, fuck the place, fuck the neighbors, I'm gone the next day...
I'd be gone THE MOMENT I SAW HIM! #NOPE
The demonic growl really made my skin crawl. Good job! 😁
Thanks nemesis92jc. The growl was fun to make :)
Aural Stimulation | Jeff Clement I read your name wrong at first, sorry. XD
Hey Jeff any chance I can use the roar for a horror series?
I absolutely love Mr. Clement's voice, I would listen to anything he's reading!
Thanks so much Jordan Penley :) You might enjoy my channel, then. Not askin, just sayin.
Aural Stimulation How could I not enjoy your channel!
Aw, thanks :)
Aural Stimulation | Jeff Clement ur the best
Thanks Brenelishus Bridge :)
I love this story! It's one of my very favorites in the Chilling Tales cannon, and Jeff Clement is one of my favorite Tales voice actors. My compliments to the author!
This was a really good story. It's one of the best I've heard on this channel so far. Well done to the author Dan David for writing this.
The chills I get from this story. Love it!
It's about 1:30 am. I was listening to this with my noise canceling headphones nearly at full volume and right when it ended, my cat jumped into my bed... I accidentally punted him off the bed in fear.
I hope your cat has forgiven you by now 😂
Great job, Dan David and Jeff Clement. Hope to hear more of your stories Dan David!!!
Great Story! I think there is a lesson in this one. Something along the lines of, mind your own business or you may learn something you do not want too.
One of my favorites...Not only a great story, but the voice acting & sound design was fantastic!!
This is one of my favorite stories. Love it.
1 of the best stories I've heard!
HANDS DOWN!!! Great job!
"The boy can wait" stupid protagonist mistake #1.. after he said that, I was like nooooo.. he can't! Idiot.. lol loved the story Dan David! Great narration Jeff Clement!
Thanks Joel Lewis. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Dan did a great job with the narrative.
Aural Stimulation | Jeff Clement I agree! You're one of my favorites btw, Love your readings.

Aural Stimulation | Jeff Clement There's gonna be a livestream? I will definately be there! Btw, I just listened to "Hunger" gross but I loved it lol.
Yep! Tonight at 11pm EST / 10pm CST. There's a link to it on the CTFDN channel homepage. Glad you enjoyed "Hunger". That one was fun.
Best story I've heard so far! Great narrator, sound effects, and story line! I had chills all over my body when I heard the unearthly scream, and I can't wait to hear the first and second place tales!
Fantastic job all around...
This was great. Very powerful narration, music and sound effects. I was very happy with this; thanks a lot for it!

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! 'hides' I can't! >.< Thank you for this it is the first one that freaked me out this bad in a while lol ugh!! AND IT IS NIGHT TIME!!

HerbHappyEm Aw, thank you!
Today they releaseed this story again except Otis was the narrator. It was good but you are my favorite. I heard this story from you first. I've listened to it at least 5 times. Thank you. God bless ✝️

Excellent work! The best one I've heard in a long time.
Perfect story and the ending just fit.
*Standing ovation! *Applause! Another great story! I loved it! Keep them coming! :)
I think we can all agree that Jeff has some super natural power. I mean, YOU CANT BE THIS GOOD ALL THE TIME
I will neither confirm nor deny said supernatural power. But thank you for saying so :)
what a story! I can imagine every second of it! But why didn't he move earlier? Before the pills ran out?
Loved it! Great story and narration!
I love this channel because of all the background ambience they add.
wonderful, so cozy yet horrifying. I love scary stories.
What an auditory delight!
You people are amazing and thats just that's all I can say
I think that was my favorite so far
Haha, that growl must have been fun to do! Good job with this,as always.
It was :) Spooked myself though. Thank you!
Aural Stimulation | Jeff Clement Spooked yourself?Oh wow!Does that happen often?
No! It was only after I recorded the banshee wail and heard it through the 12 filters I passed it through that the hairs on my neck stood up. I'm usually never effected by it.
I can see how it would freak you out more, hearing your own voice warped like that.
That was excellent !! Very chilling indeed !
Fantastic comment. Thanks HUFxGOODS. I really enjoyed making this one.
GREAT story.
Saw who this was narrated by, BAM, HAD to listen to it!!! :)
So after re-hearing this again a question popped into my head :
What if the pills weren't mistakenly put in his mailbox? like a systematic process of new victims taking on the job of keeping that thing in check.
nicolle Cano If it is, the system sucks!
Chilling Tales For Dark Nights Agreed !
nicolle Cano *I agree Also. Just Kill The System As I Spread The Word*
That's what I've been thinking.
I vividly remember watching this when I was 13 it’s still a favourite of mine and I still come back to it every once and awhile
Yes finally!I found the Story I had always remembered but couldn't find and in more detaill yes
I often listen scarry stories to sleep, and i dont actually listen, just for white noise.
But this story got me wake up in the middle of the night in cold sweat because of the snarl. Good job, i often come back just to appreciate it
definitely one of my favorite stories
Loved it, great tension building, empathizable main character and expected, yet very well executed twists and progression. 8/10
This is a good one!!!
One of my favorites. I've listened at least 5 times lol
I listened to this with my headphones on at work... big mistake. because i let out a big shout LOL good narration and story!
This was a really good story for only getting 3rd place. Great narration again by Jeff
Thanks TONY PERKIS!
I honestly think Jeff Clement could narrate a phone book and scare the hell out of people! :-D
For some reason, I think the boy is a werewolf and the pills keep him from transforming. I could be wrong, though.
Journey Cat I had the same thought.
Thts wut the pills are for
Loved it. Amazing job. And of course, my favourite narrator.
Thanks man!
The Swing, Home, I'm at your Bedroom Window & A story to scare my son are some of my favourite CTFDN stories, some great twists and chilling sounds accompanied by great narrating make for some truly chilling tales. 😮
I have listened to this for about 8-9 times already and it still creeps me out. This is definitely my favorite story from CTFDN.
Jeff is my favorite!
I remember listening to this when it came out! Glad I found it again
A really good one!!!
Awesome but creepy story loved it!!!!
This was really great
Thank you very much :)
Such a great and creepy story! Imma move away from my dark backdoor hallway now....
That shriek sent chills up my spine. The description of the boy or whatever he is doesn't really give a good imagine of what he really is.
Rob Dyke brought me here. Your readings are freaking amazing
This is one of my favorite stories from you guys!
This was a good story a very good make more like this
These are some of the best Creepypasta recordings on UA-cam. However.... man you can tell that the narrator is profoundly Canadian!!!!!
Yes, I am profound. I especially liked that you prefaced that with a "however".
Awesome job, Dan and Jeff -- you managed to scare the girl who usually laughs gleefully at the scary parts of stories! My hands are shaking. I might actually have trouble getting to sleep tonight.
Thank you, Sarah Sequins. I actually spooked myself with my own banshee wail when I was recording!
Great stuff
This was very well done. My skin is crawling with goosebumps. I would like for this story to continue! :)
That was great, creepy as hell yet great :)
realy nice story i normaly dont leave comments but my best to the author and a very nice job to the people who recorded this
Incredible story, I just can't figure out though, why he didn't report the incident? He has all the reason to do so.
Maybe because he feels that no one would believe him. Or maybe he thinks that the police know something about what happened and might try to cover it up?
Aural Stimulation the story doesn't strike me as a community conspiracy horror. The old man seems genuinely unaware that the kid is a monster.
Aural Stimulation And besides he never mentioned he suspects the cops are hiding something.
Very good!
Peepers? Seriously? That's the synonym the writer decided to use for eyes? Peepers?
Yes
Hey everybody it's the most terrifying thing on earth
The swing
This was sooo scary. Amazing
The banshee shriek... I would've poop my pants...
Me to
me three 😋😋
super scary story i couldn't sleep last night!!!!
Dan David, what an original name!
