  • Just sharing my thoughts on owning a smaller tractor vs. a big diesel. While i do love diesels, and will mostly have one day. There are certain advantages to having a small tractor. Also i do talk about upgrades and mod I've done to make it more useful on my daily basics.

    would recommend a pertronix ignition now that its 12V. NOBODY makes good points anymore! if was yellow, it started life as an "industrial" tractor. nice repairs and " keep er running"!

    I have a ‘64 2000, Dad used it exclusively from 1973 to 1991, when he bought JD 2355

    And a gas will do exactly the same work a diesel will.

    Yellow on a ford means industrial

    If this came from the state or county, it was probably abused, that explains the unusual damage.

    The only difference is the front end of the hood, it has a badge and a cone, but other than that it's pretty much the same

    I'm not sure how much experience you've had with tractors. But gas or diesel they are the same engine block. Only difference is the fuel it burns.

    It was probably a road work or state tractor is why it was yellow

    Do you have the 12 volt wiring diagram?

    The original color could have been been yellow ford a industrial use or it could be primer underneath the blue

  • @levicole1532
    @levicole1532 6 років тому

    The yellow is because of a rare tractor you have.

    Does it have any trouble running that 5 foot bush hog?

    • @cornbread3497

      Had one for 5 years and it ran a 5’ bush hog fine. Add a little weight to the front for heavier built ones
