It's amazing how much improvement you've made now especially the kind of clothing and the number of items you're packing. Can't imagine you were bringing denims and a ton of playsuits and pants back then. 😆
Love this video! And love seeing someone with girly fashion style do a packing video... two grey tshirts and some zip off hiking pants? No thanks, I wanna look nice in my pics! X
Thank you SO much for making this video! I am brand new to the idea of backpacking but I am set on doing it and I am verrry excited. I'm 10000% getting packing cubes now that I've seen you demonstrate their sorcery!
Have a great time. I cannot believe it's been 4 years today (14 Feb) that I went to Sydney. I remember watching the Sochi Winter Olympics on the flight. Good times.
Haha. I don't think the other passengers appreciated my social commentary "You call that skiing? I could do that with my bloody eyes shut!" sort of stuff.
I was skeptical about all that fitting into the backpack...but you made it work. Can't wait for the rest of the travel vlog! (been following on instagram, but it's not the same)
Make sure you check out the Gili Islands when you go to Bali if you get the chance! I’ve just come back from Gili T and I wish I’d stayed there longer - it’s paradise! :)
I really enjoy watching your videos!! It is just so amusing and inspiring to watch you. I can connect to your struggles and excitements about traveling ❤😇
I think I see you more on Instagram than I see you on youtube, and those pictures at durdle door were amazing. Im going to have to get a gopro dome now because of you.
If you roll your clothes instead of folding them you'd fit more in your pack, and it usually keeps them from getting wrinkly, too. I always put my toiletries at the top cause there's always something in there that I end up needing before I'm in a situation where I can easily unpack everything to get to it.
usualy when I go traveling for longer then 2 months I always bring old cloths that I can throw away gives me a good excuse to buy new stuff in the country where I am at that time. And no big toiletry bag to much weight on the back.
First time watching you. Personally I find packing cubes don't work in backpacks. I prefer to roll clothes with the fold at the bottom so they are tightly together that way clothes stay together in a backpack without using cubes because they are so tightly packed in. Soon I am off farm traveling with WWOOF very helpful video with the backpack side. Also a good thing to do before packing in is to loosen all the straps if u haven't already. Enjoy your travels 🙂
I’m pretty short, I’m 5’3 and I feel like big backpacks like this always drown me a little bit and they’re just too big for me but I also don’t want to take a suitcase :(
Do you recommend this backpack? I’m going to Australia for a year in September and was looking at Osprey... but I will definitely go with the trespass backpack if it saves me money! Love your videos btw💗
Packing plays a major role in travelling. Pack your clothes and other stuff properly in bag; so you can carry all your stuff while travelling. Organizing is also important. Take sport shoes which make it easier to walk.
This might be a bit of a strange question, but since there are different sizes of padlocks, what size is usually best for hostels? :D Do small ones fit of does is need to be big
you got 3 bags for carry on? just asking. how about your toiletries, is it acceptable as part of your hand carry? (that is if haven’t checked-in one of your bag)
Have an amazing time, I have watched your videos for a while and I have just got back from 6 weeks backpacking aus (full time job commitments🙄) this video has made me so jealous! Ps - random but your figure is my dream!! X
Thanks Emily! Ahh amazing that you could take the time off work and get yourself out there though 🙌🏼🙌🏼 bet you had the best time! Aw haha thank you, I eat lots of pasta, do lots of handstands and sometimes do butt workouts 😂🙈
Hey there I'm loving all of your videos they are very informative! I'm looking at going over to New zealand to do a working holiday, its my first time ill be living out of home let alone living in another country. I'm a little stuck on weather to take a backpack or a suitcase, i have an organised trip to start with then ill be off on my own hopefully settling down somewhere to live and work. what do you think is better? suitcase or backpack? thank you!
I’ve been watching a lot of videos lately since I’m planning my trip to NZ and Australia and I find your videos so helpful! Do you think a 55L backpack is enough for a few months of travelling in the Summer season? And what camera gear should I take with me? I really want to buy a GoPro but don’t quite know which one. I also have a Pentax camera with a 200mm lens. Should I take that with me or will a GoPro be enough? Keep up the videos, I really enjoy watching them! X
@@BackpackingBananas Mainly I'd like to know what sorts of courses there are. I'll be in Melbourne for 6 months as an au pair, so I figure I'll have a bit of time when I'm not working to dabble with a board a bit. I'm also looking to get more dive certifications (I'll be newly certified in a week!), and I reckon I can also do that in Thailand or Melbourne.
Rolling is far better, i hate top opening rucksacks as they make packing and unpacking such a nighmare.. you have got hardly any clothes so it would have been simple had you not having taken so many massive bottles .. hope your bag didn't rip due to overstuffing it x
Is it weird to binge packing videos? They're so fun lol
Hahaha right?! It’s definitely possible to still look nice while you travel 🙌🏼
Hi
Thank you SO much for making this video! I am brand new to the idea of backpacking but I am set on doing it and I am verrry excited. I'm 10000% getting packing cubes now that I've seen you demonstrate their sorcery!
I was laughing so hard when the cube came out at the top, many great tips too! thank you! :D
😂😂😂 absolute fail
Have a great time. I cannot believe it's been 4 years today (14 Feb) that I went to Sydney. I remember watching the Sochi Winter Olympics on the flight. Good times.
Not bad flight entertainment!
Haha. I don't think the other passengers appreciated my social commentary "You call that skiing? I could do that with my bloody eyes shut!" sort of stuff.
I would have just worn the roller skates in the airport.
pro trick : watch series at Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching lots of of movies recently.
@Vance Elliott yup, I've been watching on flixzone for since december myself =)
All your packing cube obsession needs filled in just one video.

I was skeptical about all that fitting into the backpack...but you made it work. Can't wait for the rest of the travel vlog! (been following on instagram, but it's not the same)
I was sceptical too hahaha 🙈
Backpacking Bananas another word spelled differently in the U.S. and the U.K. I didn't realize! (or realise)
Make sure you check out the Gili Islands when you go to Bali if you get the chance! I’ve just come back from Gili T and I wish I’d stayed there longer - it’s paradise! :)
Yaaas ive been to Gili T a couple years ago. Such a dream! I’d love to do some scuba diving out there 😍
Okay okay, I’m convinced...packing cubes are a great idea 😂
What an epic journey!
I really enjoy watching your videos!! It is just so amusing and inspiring to watch you. I can connect to your struggles and excitements about traveling ❤😇
Thank you ❤️❤️ So glad you enjoy them! Always important to share the struggles as much as the fun I think 😃
Love the video! I'm going to be travelling solo in Bali at the same time as you - first time by myself!!
Yay!! Hope you have an amazing time! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🤩
So thorough! I LOVE
❤️❤️❤️
I think I see you more on Instagram than I see you on youtube, and those pictures at durdle door were amazing. Im going to have to get a gopro dome now because of you.
Haha 😂 I do love Instagram 🌚 Thank you! You should, I’m so pleased to have one! Really brings beach and water pics to the next level 🙌🏼

I’ve tried rolling and I wasn’t a fan 🙈🙈 Putting toiletries at the top is a great idea though!

I love you videos! Genuinely find them so helpful :) thank you so so much x
My pleasure ❤️❤️
I’m pretty short, I’m 5’3 and I feel like big backpacks like this always drown me a little bit and they’re just too big for me but I also don’t want to take a suitcase :(
Dam it looks like you took your whole room in those bag packs you made them fit perfectly inside like tetres
It’s true. But to be fair, I have a very tiny room lol 🙈
Backpacking Bananas 😂 lmao 🤣
This was so helpful! I’m going backpacking around Aus in 15 weeks! So excited🐨
Woooooop 🙌🏼🙌🏼☀️☀️ The sun is waiting for you! 🙈😎
I'm the biggest packing cube fan! You should try compression cubes - they are a game changer!! ha ha Have an awesome time in Australia ;-)
I’ve never tried compression cubes in my backpack! Deffo need to have a look into that 🤔🤔
i'm going backpacking in india with world challenge and i saw this video and got very excited!
rosie rose omg India will be epic! 😍🙌🏼
Do you recommend this backpack? I’m going to Australia for a year in September and was looking at Osprey... but I will definitely go with the trespass backpack if it saves me money! Love your videos btw💗
What was the go pro camera equipment called which allows you to film under and above water ?? :)
GoPro Dome :)
Thank you :)
What make was it?

where is the fifth blue play suit from ?!!!
This might be a bit of a strange question, but since there are different sizes of padlocks, what size is usually best for hostels? :D Do small ones fit of does is need to be big
sanna riissanen small ones!
I agree with a small one being better! You don’t want something too heavy and small ones always tend to fit the lockers ☺️
you got 3 bags for carry on? just asking. how about your toiletries, is it acceptable as part of your hand carry? (that is if haven’t checked-in one of your bag)
Where the backpack is from❤️

How did the new trespassbackpack work?
How long did you go for this time

Do you skate roller derby? Because I highly recommend it.
~The Referee Formerly Known as Prince~
Is that backpack getting checked it? How well will/does it hold up?
Yes it has been checked into 2 flights so far. Still good as new :)
So, I'm headed to Australia in January and would love to learn how to surf. What do you recommend for a newbie like me?
What kind of recommendation are you after? A location? Spot X near Coffs Harbour on the East Coast do some great beginner surf camps 😊

Ah just in time, I will be traveling to australia next week ;) unfortunately not to perth.
Amazing!! It will still be beautiful weather no matter where you go 😍😍 have a great time!
Where did you get our packing cubes from?
Well done ! What size is the backpack ? X
Katie Allix 65
Yep 65L! 😊
Where do you buy the small packing bags?
I’ve got mine from various places but best place to find them is amazon ☺️
Thank you for the information. I figured Amazon! Love your videos! Thanks alot!
Hun, you need a front loading backpack 😁
Omg I know! I used to have one and it was dreamy but I couldn’t find any cheap ones this time 🤔🤔
So many adapters! Girl u need a universal adapter!
Haha oh man I use to, but they always seem to break on me 🙄🤔
Backpacking Bananas really? Mine have never and I’ve used mine for years and lots of travels!! Maybe just invest in a good quality one!
i wish i already dared to casually book a flight to the other side of the world on my own as if it's just a neighbouring country
Hi there! I live in Perth, will you be doing a meet-up? :)
Hi! I’m not too sure yet, I’ve never done a meet up before 🙈🙈 I hope to at some point but unfortunately don’t know if it will be on this occasion ☹️
I’m not sure where in Perth you are planning on leaving all these things because there is no room at the inn.😬
there is always room at the inn.
Straighteners multiple? That feels excessive 😂
1 pair of straighteners
Backpacking Bananas hahah oh! Lost in translation 😜 In Aus we just call it a straightener. Hope you’re loving Perth!
This heavy backpack is not great for spine or back of body for that matter.
Cool I’ll just stay home then
ha ha xx
Thanks for this!!!

I will bring the same stuffs if i move to another planet for good
If I moved to another planet, I’d probably bring another jacket or 2
Where do you work at??
Backpacking Bananas HQ 🙈 it’s a pretty dope place 🤩
Backpacking Bananas is that your house? Because that’d be wicked
