Chivalry 2 Messer gameplay. In today's upload I discuss why I think the messer may be overpowered. it is the best weapon in the game but is it too strong? We played using the Knight and I Actually hit level 1000 on it during the game attacking Escape From Falmire.

2:01 facts! The good thing about this game is that you actually need to be good at it to play good. You aren't gonna be bailed out by something cheap, each player has to know the mechanics.

I hate that often animations are not readable for me, i don't know why, maybe coz of server issues or else, but often from my perspective I always see the windup anim, but the release anim is instantaneous, it looks broken, often miscounter it coz you literally can't see any animation before it dmg to you, I also hate executionioneer axe drags anims so wonky.

LVL 600 ish i am with lvl 100 messer knight being my highest weapon class type thing. My opinion long sword all round best weapon in the game great sword and messer tie for close second. whats best changes depending on the frick is going on and how you play while that shit is going on. but i default messer i need faster combo mc staby type i adjust long sword i have hella room to run a swing great sword but if i get butt hurt messer. have a nice day good messer game yo.

When the game first came I was playing on PC before it broke after a month. It was definitely easier from what I remember but I can't relearn now.

Only npcs and noobs say that messer is the best weapon, it is really good but it doesnt compare with heavy mace or battle axe in duels, unreadable accels and super long drags, and rhe stam damage ks mad crazy so yeah, messer has fallen some time ago to these

I’ve got 1600 hours in chiv and the messer is STILL one of the best weapons in the game. I consider myself a top tier player and I shred with the messer. You’re clearly a noob who has to have a “op” weapon to kill. Get outa here
