something wrong with that adjustment on your flapperons. The Avids and Pre Kitfox IV flaperons are only good for 10 to 15 degree MAX. After that you can get reversal. The IV model can get 30 to 35 degrees deflection but it a totally different mixer assembly. Some limit thet to 20 degrees. They miss out on the extra 15 degrees which will improve your STOL ability if you know how to use them.

the flaperon handle should have a detent - when you fly thye airplane you will see that the flaps really work as trim - fly the thing!
