Hey everyone - Thanks for stopping by! This was a nice afternoon out and a great place to 'treat' yourself. You can just book in to have drinks at the bar if you want to have a sticky beak at the place. I'd definitely go back for a beer...if someone else pays!
Good choice of beer! Duvel is one of the finest on the market. Book a room and review it next time, small price to pay for the UA-cam audience! Sometimes you have to treat yourself!
Brian, it was a nice beer, and being so expensive removes the temptation of becoming overly refreshed! Tell you what, if you shout us a room there next time we go, not only will film I it, I will let you come and put the facilities through their paces!
A little bit fancy there. Would be nice to stay there once but id prefer the 50c from a food cart. 2 more things, i also bought a fancy Phnom Penh shirt i bought for $3 (ive still got it) and good job on adding in another gold camry! ✌✌😄😄
Hey Chandy - Yeah mate it was proper fancy! I'd love to be in a position to drop $800 a night on a place (anywhere let alone Siem Reap) but until then, drinks at the bar had to do this time..then its back to reality! Mate I think half my wardrobe now comes from a Zando or PP - shirts, tee shirts, jeans and hoodies, it's all good stuff for so much cheaper than here in Aus. I took so many shots of gold Camrys on that day I had to cut 3 or 4 sequences...I will bring em back for the eventual gold Camry special!
Cheers mate! This was one of my favourites - the place was beautiful and super peaceful. But...yeah - beer prices were off the charts! Something to tick off and say you have done (unless we BYO next time) Mate the old RMs go alright in Cambodia! How old are your ones? M chestnut ones are about 10 years old now, might be finally due for an upgrade..
Thanks so much Thai Sinh! We are back in Australia right now but were lucky to spend some time in SR and PP late last year before the world shut down, but have plenty of movies to share from that time. We hope to be back as soon. Are you from Siem Reap? Thanks so much for watching!
Hey Pisey - thank you so much for the kind words :) it’s a beautiful place (albeit a little expensive) but worth a visit one day if you can. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy our videos 👍
Awesome Soriya! I have subbed and will check out your channel! Thanks for checking out my videos - I hope you enjoy our mildly interesting adventures! Cheers - Marc!
$152 a slab!!!! That’s insane!!! Won’t be grabbing a slab of those in a hurry - will be sticking with whatever’s on special from my local IGA! Thanks for watching mate - that price has blown my mind!
Thanks so much Somalin Chhin! Its a wonderful place - I hope its still pretty by the time we can make it back to SR. Thanks so much for watching and subscribing - I hope you enjoy our videos!
I had a look at the actual rooms and they look pretty good - but agree you could get so much better value in town. I think people stay there cause of the grounds (which I thought were very nice) the security and the privacy the place offers. The restaurants are supposed to be pretty good to but yeah..nah. I'd be happy with a room at the Koulen hotel!
Ever learn what was the quick little Cambodian joke the girls had referring to what to do with that long hair duster horn you picked up? They were giggling and you boys were like what? What did you say? Good stuff man! Peace
Tell Ryan I would recommend the Yates Zero Weeding Herbicide Applicator Brush available from Bunnings (no Cambodian stores...yet). You fill it with round up and then paint just the weeds to kill them off in a nice grassed area. www.bunnings.com.au/yates-zero-weeding-herbicide-applicator-brush_p3019880
Ah we went for a sticky beak - a that stage of the trip we were about a month in being in country and thought we would treat ourselves for once (we had to rush over as we lost my wife's mum in November and it had been a pretty full on trip up until the point we got to SR). I was mentally prepared that the trip out to the green village would not be a cheap exercise...and I was bang on!
Thanks so much Chanmaly! The green village is a beautiful place - Very expensive though but nice to go and see. My wife has been teaching me Khmer - I can only speak a little, I get better every time we go back! Cheers!

They have the Bose Free Space speakers by the pool, very nice!
Those green speakers? They had them at the Koulen hotel too - they are a pretty good thing! I'll stick to my second hand gumtree shed stereo though..
Great video again I didn't even think to bring my RM boots, don't even like paying that much for a beer in oz

@@MarcsMildlyInteresting yes thank you for replying.
I’m pretty sure it’s will be better than ur last visit.
Well you can keep that place, it just looks so ordinary, in comparison with some of the5 Star places in Siem Reap

No idea mate - I don't think we will ever get a straight answer from them hehe!
She asked if they it was to brush the dust off but the workers laughed because it's meant for decorations
