Great tutorial as always my dude, this is the first sound I ever figured out before the end of the video so that was awesome. Might take a minute to make it usable for me but it was much easier than many other sounds to pick up.

When I first learnt this I would bite my bottom lip. Slowly over time when I got better I didn't need to bite it. Just a tip for anyone

It’s crazy, I thought I always could do this bass the way alexinho, hiss and everyone else does it, but your tutorial is the only one I’ve found that specifies that you’re not supposed to bite down on your bottom lip when doing this sound. I have such a hard time doing this the way you’re teaching since my muscle memory always goes for the Fart bass that comes from biting down on your bottom lip to isolate the top lip’s oscillation. However, what’s been giving me the most trouble is when trying to just “tuck” my bottom lip under the top and against my top front teeth, I’m not able to get any kind of oscillation from my top lip when breathing out. The more I try to push, the more it sounds like a river pitch snare or top lip bmg snare. I realize this may be just residual muscle memory from the bmg snare but still could you give me some help on getting my top lip loose enough and any further posturing tips for my lower lip, given that I’m used to a lifetime of doing the fart bass the “biting-down-on-your-bottom-lip-way”? Sorry for the lengthiness, I just love beatboxing and thinking deeply about beatboxing sounds, especially basses

Fart bass is actually a sound that you can do without breathing outwards but just using the pressure from your lips, and therefore using circular breathing (breathing inwards while doing it with just your lips for a breathing break) you can do fart bass infinitely

Cool I've wanted to learn how Alexinho does it and this helps a lot. I've done a similar sound that sounds like a more wet fart 😂 using a pocket of air in the top corner of my top lip. Doesn't require the bottom lip to do anything. I'm not sure what that sound is called, or if people just refer to it as fart bass also. Anybody know?

The more you practice, the better control you will get over that. Though, spit for the most part might be unavoidable.

I came to this channel bc i found someone in the my game in gorilla tag vr and he was teaching how to beat box then he told me to look up his friend yt his name is tyladubya and i found but it is kinda hard for me bc i have braces i just got them today but he said if i keep practiceing the things he told i could probably be able to beat box in a week😌😁but i think i could i get it someday

The problem is my lips mostly vibrates on the right side of my mouth which makes my bass weaker compared to hiss and other beatboxers maybe because i do most of my sounds on the right side and it's like my default side.

@@yes-nc4vo im doing it both ways but its more airy with the teeths. For the normal fart bass im pushing my jaw forward, works better for me and the bass goes deeper
