I used to buy newspapers when I was younger, until one day I realised that I only ever read about five pages worth in the whole newspaper as the rest of the paper was all about stupid celebrity stuff that I have no interest in whatsoever! The Royal stuff is all propaganda to try to make the British public love the monarchy and to remember that they exist!

People need to understand here that both the parties don't like each other. Neither Meghan Markle has openly been criticising the RF, and KC is no fan of her's either. So let her celebrate his son's bday and KC, the biggest day of his life.
Celebrate the King? He's a mess. He's the worst of us, he's no different than his mother. She only became beloved because she lived long enough to embody a sweet elderly woman. Her ethics of entitlement, vanity, her definition of work to the majority of us is a joke. How long did she take to visit the victims of that incident born from indifference when a river of coal came through their community burying their children alive. How long did she take to acknowledge for at least for the sake of her grandsons when their mother was killed in Paris. Her reverence for the nation when she is found out keeping large sums of money offshore so that she can help support the country from taxes that could have been collected by the interest made. These people literally do the bare minimum to look like they give a dam so to be seen to be still necessary in a modern Western society. This blind reverence for the 'royal' institution is childlike at best. We hold each other to higher standards than this and still are they really the best of us?

I think Meghan should still come to the coronation but I understand the decision behind it. If she goes, she’ll be scrutinised and vilified for anything she does. Meghan breathes air whilst the procession is happening, the Daily Mail will publish 50 different analyses on it. Now that Meghan isn’t going, she’s getting scrutiny and is being accused of disrespecting Charles and the Crown. Therefore either way, the people that dislike her will continue to be unjustifiably angered. Meghan should be at the coronation but the heavy scrutiny and constant threats at her would make anyone in her position not want to attend such an occasion.
Can't see why she should be there! She should stay away and let the British people and RF celebrate the coronation. I do not recall the exact ratio [can easily Google check it], but it was less than 10% of the 06/2022 events planned.
