@yoyoTech just found this video as i am looking to upgrade my Lorex system that is over 6 years old and the cameras are starting to show signs of age.. I have a Unifi cloud key gen 2, Unifi USG, a 16-port switch 150W, 2 AC Lites, and 1 AC-LR. I installed these like 4-5 years ago and i have the best WiFi and internet connection ever. How can i get the camera’s integrated into my system so i can ditch the Lorex. Thanks so much for this video! Gained a subscriber!

you mention the viewport is wireless but the diagram shows a cable conected. is it truly wireless like a Chromecast or does it need a cable like the diagram?

I have a camera in my garage - but for the garage door opener itself is another video - forget MyQ - they have stopped supporting anything but there own app, search for ratgdo - its a small device that will control and report on everything you garage can do - even how many times its been opened and closed in its lifetime! - Thanks for watching!

Can you share what the temperature ratings for cameras in this system you know of? Live in a climate that is cold. it often stay below -10⁰F and occasionally -40 for about a month in the winter. many battery powered cameras cannot take that cold and shut down, perhaps wired too, I don't have any.
I believe they are rated for -20 based on spec, but I know I have seen at least -25 and never had an issue - I have the G5 pro and a couple flex outside and they have been great - hope that helps - and thanks for watching!

You betcha! No phone number. No local or even regional rep, sales, or installer. Yoyo, you might want to hip them to this because they’ll not benefit from your sales pitch! SMH
I agree they are hard to find sometimes - I typically start direct from them ui.com, but if they are out of stock I go to Amazon amzn.to/45f7ghM which delivers fast, albeit with a slight markup. But I have installed about 5 client sites in the last month and up here in Canada I have had no issues finding them! - Anyway, thanks for watching!

How well can it read license plates and at what distance.
The best camera I have is the G5 bullet - it can read a plate with little motion - but can't for cars that go by fast - If you are looking for that specifically i would look at the AI Pro - amzn.to/3Kb3qfO or the AI DSLR which both have the ability to recognize and record license plates - if you get one let us know, would be amazing to be able to catalog plates to help with thefts in the area. - thanks for watching

Eufy is way beter
For me, I like the integration of the unifi camera and network into one seamless system - but I would like to try out the Eufy solar/wireless cameras as I think that is a cool looking product. - thanks for watching

really? I actually find it to be more affordable than most systems - you can't compare a standalone camera with cloud service - you need to compare it to systems that have a NVR. You can also consider that the NVR is also your network controller and WIFI. Additional cameras start at under $100 and you don't have any subscription fees? Anyway we all have an opinion - thanks for sharing and for watching!
