any little part of the most holy sacrament is the whole divinity, humanity, soul and body of Jesus, as he is not divided. the ancient notion of the blood being separated from the body means death, thus Israel is prohibited to drink blood which means the life of the given animal. however the elements of water, wine and bread which became the Sacrifice are mingled, signifying life. some eastern liturgical rites feeds the laity with both species.

the eucharist/mass wasn't even practiced until the the 12th or even the 15th century.
