Thanks for the video it's very informative very educational especially for people that want to shoot long distance and practice like you said is very important thank you once again, I am still working on my accuracy but I have a trigger that is so hard it's crazy but I'm still trying my best, from my experience with my other rifle I think it's soft trigger is really important.

@@ShootingTargets727 So I took my Maverick Sniper 30 in today for a tune up cuz the best I could wrangle was 63grain Zan slugs at 875fps at 151 bar with hammer maxed with a huge Huma transfer port and pin probe.
I know it's capable of more.When I bumped the reg up it got slower. UGH...
He said it needed to be balanced out.
I said "Do your magic!"
When I get it back I'll just raise and lower the hammer wheel for pellets and slugs.
Well... That's the.plan. LOL 😆 🤣

@@ShootingTargets727 I had it at 900 then I bumped reg from 150 to 160 and it went to 875 to 880. That's when I took it in for a power tune asking for at least 950 on max. power wheel.
He's also fixing my Huben K1 22. (indexing spring broke)
That's pushing Patriot Javelin slugs .218 30 grainers at 1050. Next I'm trying the Javelins in 34 and 40 grain
My JSAR RAPTOR 30 is pushing 73 grain slugs at 940 little canon. 😆

I think these guys that show 3 misses and a hit at 300 yards are more likely having 17 misses and a hit. There is a lot of atmosphere in open space between muzzle and 300 yards. Even if your Airgun is capable, Its very easy for Mother Nature to move your projectile an inch or more off the target.
Yep, i projected with my .177 1 mph moves the slug 12 inches to the left or right. Huge sway that the round just cannot overcome. Even if you are a great shooter so many factors.....
It's all window dressing.

Well to me it is just as accurate as the FX impacts. I mean once you get the tune down it will really shoot well. It is more tough to get tuned because it allows infinite possibilities. Where the redwolf hp is 3 setting high/med/low. Also 200 yards ,,, I would say the delta wolf in general above .22 cal is under-powered for slugs. It shoots .177 slugs at like 990fps maybe even faster like 10.2 knockouts at 1040 or 1080... So yes it can do some slugs but the gun cannot be modified like the impacts for super high power or if you do you might be voiding warranties.
I mean aloot of folks says that the delta is not for slugs , unlike the redwolf .. so what do you think ?
Ok, well, for .177 it can shoot 13.4 grain knockout slugs nearly as well as my redwolf hp .177. I never shot them side by side but I can get the speed pretty close to what the speed is on the .177 redwolf. I have shot the delta wolf out to 300 yards at cans and it can hit stuff. I need to really look into the accuracy as far as ergonomics go. More on that in later videos. I have the .22 cal will try jsb hybrids i think they will work. The 30 Cal hybrids do work in that rifle but it cant push them faster than 935 fps in 30 cal everything is maxed out. so again most these rifles fx included are more hybrid or pellet shooters. Hope this helps... The traditional long rilfe to me has advantages at long distance simply from weight, mass ect as well.
