Currently, everything I use for design is Miro, Google drive, and Trello. I'm thinking of switching trello for gitlabs issue boards and Google drive with confluence.
Well, i've never used RPG Maker (because i've never felt the use). I'll look into Prezi, i had heard of it, but never used it yet. I tend to use Inkscape too, a vector graphic tool is so useful to play with shapes and movement
I'd also add Obsidian for its graph view mind map feature. One can create a full wiki like design doc on it. Once you get into Obsidian, it becomes extremely easy to scale and read through the document.
Fantastic tools! I have used each of these quite a bit in my game development, I absolutely LOVE Miro. I have never used Prezi, but it really intrigues me with the example you used with the maps (I've just been using Miro and dragging lines out from points of interest) I will check it out soon!
Project Management - Larger teams -> Asana / Monday / Basecamp / Jira (shudder)... and smaller teams -> Trello and the likes are great tools if implemented properly
I'd also add Notion. The Wikipedia-like inter-linkability makes it a great tool for writing intricate designs, great for world building, it can also hold some spreadsheets (more of a mockup kind than actual work spreadsheets as the tools are lacking) and it can be used for progress tracking. It has great integration with both Miro and Jira. Excellent tool in my opinion
What are your favorite design tools?

Always been interested in checking this out, thanks for the reminder!
Love your level design examples. Nice work!
Thanks so much!

Great vid. Big fan of Miro and Sketchup as well! Had never seen Machinations before, definitely going to play around with that. Looks fun!
Thanks mate! Glad you found something useful there.
