I have fished in conditions like that when I got a day off from work. When you tried to ⛵ flip that brownie I thought, oh no. Enjoyed the video, watching from NW AL ....
Dang. I’ll take heed as well for future tournaments. I typically like to find spots that no one else is at. Also, mad wind. Reminds me of my latest video - the wind was intense. Tight lines.
My first thought after that first catch was “Get it in the Net!” Everything after that was that was some extreme weather conditions to fish in. Watching many of your videos and some in extreme conditions I see you as a seasoned angler knowing your situational awareness. In a situation like that it has to perk your instincts to react in the most safest and sometimes quickest way. My thought process was your in a very stable kayak that looked like could take on conditions like that and keep you safe, however there is always that moment of a what if. The water temperatures were very frigid you were wearing very thick clothing if you were to fall out of that kayak could you get yourself out of the water safely in those extreme conditions? My heart was pounding, but then realizing in seeing this video so you must have been safe, Thank God. Definitely a lesson to build upon and I always say the only bad decision you can make is one we don’t come back from! My friend I want to see you and your channel grow for many years to come I’ve looked at your whole channel and podcast as an inspirational and learning platform for me. So thank you for sharing this still until the next one take care brother and God bless!
I definitely felt comfortable out there but as much as I say I think I could get back in the kayak in that clothing - 43 is colddddddd haha. Appreciate you as always, my friend.
I can say this because of the fight across the lake there is no question you've got king Kong balls ,however you should embrace fishing in a crowd by relying on your mind and confidence and trust me you will find the fish and whoop those around you. Stay positive force yourself to fish in the crowd buddy!!🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

After counseling I may be able to get over the PTSD from watching this. 😂😂😂

Yeah, fishing in a crowd sucks for sure. That looked like a rough one. I had one of these "learning tournaments " last weekend

You are insane! I don’t ever fish if there are whitecaps. I don’t challenge Mother Nature.
I prefer the term psychotic 😂
