Spot on. I was in a late stage of alcohol addiction after over a decade of heavy drinking. I recovered from addiction by learning to regulate my nervous system and that starts with morning meditation and yoga to connect the mind to the body. Much more involved but that was the start for me. Treatment centers, 12-step, churches, hospitals all seemed to be missing a big piece of the equation. At the root of my trauma was a strict religious upbringing that I walked away from. For anyone still suffering, there is hope, we are learning more about addiction every day. Thank you! 🙏🏻

Then introduce meditation, acupuncture, therapy, massage, sauna, whole foods, organic self care..
