I really like this game. Been playing sc2 for 14 years and it will always be my favorite game but I will still play this game too. Stormgate just needs a little more time to develop
Can't speak much for the gameplay but I hate the art direction. Models are similar in detail to those in mobile game ads and looks worse than dota 2 beta and early starcraft 2 beta and that was 15 years ago.
I think the game is great and fun to play. From a Balance and variety standpoint this series concerns me. Celestial basically goes mass argent with proxy buildings cheese every single game. Despite knowing what will happen the opponent loses or can barely survive. Seems to me like this is too effective for how boring/cheesy it ist.
i had to cast this from a youtube clean feed so the quality isn't great. Here's the quality in 4k ua-cam.com/video/msksu7XH0WU/v-deo.htmlsi=6OmEj6YBBaqEKEvP
This push probe is doing each game is not interesting to watch. Also Elazer having to be so careful to break out of the contain when he's like 70 supply ahead against a dude with 55 supply is ridiculous.
Same. Plus they made the game way to similar to Starcraft 2. Why play the knock off version when you can play the real thing. The only difference from starcraft 2 gameplay wise is the towers with creeps and the power abilities each faction has. The units themselves aren't cool or interesting looking at all compared to Starcraft universe. Honestly at this point they should copy more warcraft 3 than starcraft and have the heroes in the campaign be made in regular matches with abilities. That to me would make the game more interesting.
I don't know, this game does not feel exciting at all to me : too slow, too childish, too generic, it simply has no soul of its own. SC2 still king... ZeroSpace seems the most enjoyable and the best candidate to the crown (imha). Don't think David Kim's game will conquer SC2 fans for long, but maybe get its own followers.
I disagree, the game is early access for a reason, it’s not done. I like the art style too. Seems like a few people disliked the look of the game and all the sheep have to come repeat what they heard
I can see it not hitting very well with SC2 fans but as more of an old school Warcraft 3 player I kinda like it as a sort of fusion of the two. It is a bit cartoonish I'll admit, and some of the characters look a bit silly like the demons with the cutesy eyes. But beyond the artstyle, the mechanics are quite good. I actually find it more entertaining to watch than SC2 and its still pretty early in development. If it actually ends up with good custom maps like Warcraft 3 Stormgate has huge potential.
Developing an engine just like SC2 to build a game around seems awesome. Everything else about this game looks bad. Unimaginative. Soulless. Terrible art. Currently, I would rather see new races added to SC2, like they did with the broodwar update. I just think its a bad sign when a game shows ZERO creativity, but maybe they can fix this in a year, they certainly have a nice looking game engine started.
This tournament was so friggin good to watch live, the meta was changing hour by hour, it was insane how well the pros adapted to new strategies.

Honestly it's kind of fun having a new developing meta too.
oops forgot to put a thumbnail on this one! :S
1:31: Pig exercising extreme restraint in criticizing the spectator here 😂
10:55: That was great 😄
Keep it coming Pig. Need more players to convert to SG
if there was a way to show the in-game time on screen that would be sickkkkk
Lovely series!

Ok, im starting to get interested in this game, very fun. Maybe I'll wait for a balance or two though
there has already been a big balance patch that's fixed some of the one-sided in this vid
250+ games so far, 1620 , 99% of games are cheese so far
I think the game is great and fun to play.

the graphics look so blurry in the cast. is that just how they look?

70 supply includes a lot of workers that celestial isn’t building
Hate it, really cant tell units apart from each other, the colors are so similar

i imagine you'd know a thing or two about being childish

The gameplay is great, but everything presentation-wise is just boring
Zerospace seems pretty meh to me tbh.
