My theory as far as barb hooks is that they cause you to lose more fish than barbless, first reason is that the barb creates resistance and stops the hook from reaching it's optimal position in the fishes mouth and when they do get all the way though they create/wear a big hole in the fishes mouth, like you say, keep tension on the line and you and you should be right

yep, I've been with zenaq for a few years now mate. some may take it as a biased point of view or whatever haha but originally i bought a zenaq, loved it, caught fish on it then we started doing stuff together. as far as I'm concerned zenaq is the best rod company ever to work with. they make rods for every kind of fishing and the rods r fucking epic haha. And as i mentioned in the vid its a small family run business not a fucking mega corporation. bloody get around them haha
