I love the vision. Unfortunately, I have yet to see this vision manifest in my last almost 6 years at the unit. I have been to 3 ECWCS classes and 1 arctic tent class. I'm not licensed on the heater stove for the tent, I've never snow shoed, never done skiing, never done any kind of climbing. My BN has shifted to focusing on air assault ops so hopefully before I leave this place I get some alpine training.

Bro if you wanna do combat arms just go army, you promote faster, get access to tution assistance a year earlier, get to actually choose your duty station and get a big fat bonus. Plus if you wanna be the best you can be then you be a Army ranger. Nothing higher than that when it comes to ground pounders
