I remember reading that leafcutter ants in the wild will switch between different leaves because they want to avoid completely killing a single tree. So even if they like a leaf they'll eventually stop cutting it and only switch back once the tree has had a chance to grow back. So maybe that's part of why they decide not to cut certain leaves at certain times.
Yeah this may be very true. Only makes me more consent 😅 if they may stop cutting what I fead them now 😆 but since this video they have accepted two more leafs! 🙌🏻😄
Wait a year and see the state of mine first 😆 but thank you ❤️ tried to make a bit more crazy editing like you but won. That last video got to much for me to handle 😆😆
It’s a prototype pod from wakooshi currently under developed ☺️ it will probably come out early 2022 if there’s no more things to improve and the ants inside are from ants antics ☺️ so they came separately ☺️
can i give some advice they only cut once a week till they grow till they get what they need please give them different types of privet cause they are a soft leaf and they will take what they need :)
Thank you for the suggestion! I try as many different leafs 2-3 a week but like you say they don’t cut to often yet so the tests are hard to get anything from. 🤔 thank you for the comment!
Hello can u please help me. My crematogaster colony ran out of water and the tube was dirty. I plugged a clean tube. Its been 2 days. They do not seem to be interested in moving. They are about 15-20 workers. I can send images if need to.
Maybe you can make the new test tube dark and the old test tube lighter. If that will not work i also do not know what to do because i am not a prof in ant keeping.
Well if they have air in between it’s just about waiting. They will prefer the humid area in the end. But the cotton can be wet for a long time without water. But yeah try putting light on them and dark on the other tube and see. Maybe put them in a outworld that way they are safe and will move when necessary ☺️
98% the favourite Colony of all antkeepers... but yeah if you want to full grow them you need tons of leaves every day. I think you need a plan how big you want to let them grow and if they reached this size you have to kill the workers (feed them to other animals like chinese fire-bellied toad) or simply freeze them. Because yeah they can grow to fill a whole living room :_D

@@AntHolleufer Thank you. U got a new sub!
omg how long do you spend on editing now? 😅 Quality of video is great
Haha thank you and well one - two hours a day for 5 days or so not 100% sure. Let’s just say 10 hours idk 😅🤷🏻♂️
I wish we have them
Haha just wait a year and look at how big they are. Then they may be a bit to big for most 😅😆
If they dont cut why dont you make the leaf smaller
Haha that’s not the problem. They just don’t like the leafs 😅
Are u planning to keep honeypot ants in the future?
Ohh not sure. Not directly a plan yet but you never know 🤔🤷🏻♂️👀
I missed it😔😡
😪😕 but I mean. The video is still here 😆👀
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🙌🏻😄🙌🏻
Wait wait wait!
Are you the real WaKooshi?
@@thedutchant5395 yes :)
