Thanks again, Mery Christmas👍✌️
Thanks for watching!
Great video My question is I am looking to start a Laser cleaning business and looking at the LCM 500 watt would it be safe to buy from this company SFX and would I have any problems with any warranty if needed
Thanks
Yes, absolutely, Ive been working with SFX for a few years now and I can say they have excellent customer service, they are very responsive, and in addition to that I personally offer some after sales support with any SFX laser cleaner, so you can always reach out to me with some help with settings, and tips, the LCM 500 is a fantastic unit, and in my opinion as a great unit to start your business with, you will be able to laser clean so many more things than most people can do because you are getting a pulsed cleaner and not a CW cleaner 👍, if you have any more questions about it you can contact me direct michael@laserengraving911.com happy to help, and if you ready to purchase you make sure you use my code for the $200.00 off "LASER911200"

Great, thanks and when I return from my little get away, I will look into ordering the 500 and get started on my new venture. I know I will have a lot of questions from what size generator to buy so I will be mobile, picking up a trailer this week
Thanks again
Karl

Do you think this machine could be set to a low enough level to just remove old baked on vinyl from automobiles without removing paint?
not, its not for that.
I got the SFX FLC-100 laser cleaning machine to remove graffiti from metal doors, rocks, wood beams etc and I'm having troubles getting the paint fully removed. It will leave a faint outline of where it was previously or won't remove paint at all. Do you have any settings recommendations I can use to get the machine to cut through paint easier?
shoot me and email at michael@laserengraving911.com Ill see if I can help with settings.
Great video. One question right after cleaning can you paint? Or is there some dust or carbon that needs to be removed?
Yes and yes, the surface is very clean, and ready for paint. maybe just a compressed air blow off would be prudent.
Hi That is a great machine, it appears to be 'gentle' to not harm the underlying metal, but the slow speed you would need to move to remove rust on a autobody that was destined for a acid dip tank to remove everything, seems like it would be too slow to be comparible in price? was wondering would a more powerful unit still avoid the damage (if carefully done?) spandblasting is a great example that might do damage if used by someone inexperienced. I would like to know how fast a competent user could rust clean a body of a vehicle. say 100% of the body needs it to bear paint.. (forgive that it cant get to all location)
rusty usder carriage but striped and on a roteserrie?
for something like that i would recommend the LC500 pulsed cleaner, not the smaller 100watt cleaner.
Thank you for the awesome video. Would you say sfx is a good brand to buy in the USA, I'm about to get a 200w portable pulse laser and who do you recommend getting it from?
Yes and yes, I really do think that SFX makes a great product when it comes to both fiber lasers and laser cleaner gear, I personally have used them all and looked inside to see the craftsman ship and they are build very well, if you looking for a solid ready to rock 200watt unit I would check this one for sure, and if you can go for the 300watt! it will give you more cleaning power and finish the job faster! sfxlasertech.com/products/sfx-100w-handheld-jpt-laser-cleaning-machine-rust-removal-auto-laser-cleaning?ref=Michael%20Mullins&variant=41213021159513
Thank you so much for the info, I really appreciate it. Guess the 300 watt will be better. Thank you!!
Hi! Is it working if the piece of metal have snow or ice on it?
I don’t see why not
Curious if you use a step up transformer? 110v to 220/240v. if so, what wattage would you prefer for a 200w cleaner? can I assume a 2000W chinese transformer would suffice?
There is no transformer needed for 100-200watts, it’s all internal power supply 110v when you get into the big stuff, it 240 Single Phase
Oh, no doubt. i have the sfx off road version and it says on description input voltage 220v +- 10%@@LaserEngraving911
Will it work for black paint as well?
100% it actually works best on black and dark colored paint because darker is most absorbed
What other colors can it remove
Pulsed lasers can remove all colors.
Is there potential to make money back off of the laser cleaner ?
uh,, yeahm but your gonna have to put in the work like with any new business, laser cleaning jobs are not going to just fall in your lap, you have to get the word out that you offer the service, and claim your position in the laser cleaning industry, and promote your services to the right markets. I know of quite a few individuals who are very successful right now doing laser cleaning.
I want see a booth size one get it one run
How long would that take to pull paint off cabinet doors
How would it do on bathtubs, countertops and cabinets?
Does it work on fiberglass?
How would it do on bathtubs, countertops and cabinets?
Does it work on fiberglass?
no fiber glass, or plastic, porcelain bath tubs maybe, cabinets yes pulsed laser only, water based varnish and paint will remove, yes, but fumes will be excessive.
@@LaserEngraving911 thank you
Can you show to to set up the machine. It appears that the beam goes back and forth without having to move the gun
Yes great question, Ill be making a full video on this unit in the coming weeks, and Ill talk about that

sure thing, just email me michael@laserengraving911.com, and give me your details , Ill reach out to you.
I just bought the 200W version of the machine you are using.
Nice, did you get it from SFX? how are you liking it!
@@LaserEngraving911 I did get it from SFX. It's still in transit from Hong Kong.
@@Boodieman72 Nice I have the 300watt coming soon here to the shop, if you email me I can share some settings with you, once I have had it for a bit.
what would be the difference in performance between a 300 watt SFX Off-Road Pulse Laser Cleaning Machine vs the 300 watt Pulse Laser Cleaning Machine (the one that's a big rectangular box on wheels). would the off road overheat or be less powerful?
If I want to do rust removal on cars and truck frames, what unit would you recommend? Are you aware of any portable units or those that use 110?
There are portable units that use 110 that are 100-200watts , but they are not ment for doing large areas, it would take you weeks. You need to have something with more power to justify the time taken to laser clean something that large, I would recommend for that kind of work the www.sfxlaser.com/300W-500W-Pulse-Laser-Cleaning-Machine?ref=Michael%20Mullins
The power looks very small, it will take many hours to remove the paint.
You think so? Why don't you send me your 200watt Pulsed laser cleaner cleaner and we will but your machine to the TEST on UA-cam for "EVERYONE" to see who is the best. If you really think your machine is so powerful.. Hmmmm 🤣🤣
