Yes, I've heard the buzz, and from what I've heard, Tuscany seems to be everyone's favorite part of Italy. If the food was a little blah and drab in the main tourist hot spots, I'm sure you were pleased with the food in Tuscany, since it appears that they take their food very, very seriously. I had a tantric girlfriend in Romania who called herself Chianti, but that's a story for another day...
Yes Chianti in Tuscany was for sure our favorite out of everywhere we went! Haha, that sounds like an interesting story!
