    We are Jacob and Jenny, a husband and wife passionate about traveling the world. We started uploading in May, 2021 with a goal to see as much of the globe as possible. After visiting Costa Rica and French Polynesia, the time was right to quit our full-time jobs, so we left everything to travel and have loved every minute of it. Our goal is to make it to all seven continents and visit as many countries as possible. Follow along and be a part of the journey!

      Hi there friend!! The architecture in Italy is amazing!! But we are missing Romania too 🇷🇴

    1:40 those are districts ("contrade") flags. It is the signal you are entering the Goose District, "Contrada dell'Oca"
    3:30 it was not built with bare hands! 😂 even Roman Empire had his building machines...
    10:10 that's fried polenta 😋

    The flags represents each suburb of Siena since Middle age and each has a real tough rivalry between them. It’s a matter of proud of each suburb to show mostly during the yearly horse race.

      @@claudiofoiadelli8721Non sto parlando di tutti ovviamente, ma questi ragazzi mi pare stiano girando il paese un pò così, come viene viene e in maniera molto superficiale. Non si va a Siena senza sapere nulla o essere un minimo preparati e vedendo solo "mattoni" intorno a te😂! Vuol dire che apparte il mangiare e bere, del resto importa ben poco. Ciao e grazie per il commento 👍😉

    I can't say for sure just by watching them on video, but the yellow rectangles in the bread look like pieces of fried polenta ,perhaps with melted cheese added

    they charge you for the bread in Italy. I would avoid eating and paying for that bread!!

    • @doc7440
      @doc7440 9 місяців тому

      The "coperto" in italy is obligatory ( if required by the restaurant ) and includes service ( tablecloth , cutlery , condiments ) and bread. It is not that if you don't eat bread you can avoid it. However we usually talk about 1-2 euro , just pay it or go to another restaurant

    • @JacobandJennyTravel
      @JacobandJennyTravel  9 місяців тому

      Yes we were always charged for the coperto :) thanks for the information guys!!
