Good job sir. I was holding my breath too on those clasps.

I had a G2C without the upgrades and my trigger was so gritty. It would honestly almost get hung up part way through the squeeze. I bought the G3C and put the Lakeline parts in and it was night and day difference

I can tell a huge difference with just dry firing it! It’s smooth all the way through the pull now!

Replaced everything that’s able to be replaced on my G2C (besides a red dot and toro slide) and it shoots like a dream

What is the benefit of having a steel striker guide? I just got a steel guide rod from Lakeline but what difference do these steel parts make? I got a G3C

You pull down on the firing pin tab simultaneously while pushing down on the main spring. The captive pieces for the spring will have a lot of room to fall in place.

Take some black shrink tubing and put over the trigger safety and trigger and heat up. You still have the manual safety but the trigger is butter smooth. Not sure why the trigger blade is needed if you carry with the manual safety on.

    Awesome vid.
Should look into a stainless steel spring retainer from Lakeline and they have some better springs for the firing pin as well, cheers 🍻

@@Leepegues if you're ever looking to spend some money I suggest a ported barrel. It's a little pricey but trust me it makes this thing a bad little motherfuker.

@@Leepegues same. I had the compensator and threaded barrel for Lakeline on mine originally and I just f****** hated it. Yeah it did its job but it added like another inch and a half to the barrel. Not very comfortable for in the waistband carry

i know the metal Striker guide makes the tiggger way nicer just be on the watch out i had one put about 2k rounds trough it chiped and the gun failed to fire the metal he is useing is not as hard as the Striker . he sent me a new one but it did not look any thing like the one i paid for it looked like it was galvanized metal not hard at all just a heads up. o and hes recoil spring at 5k rounds started to get flat spots on it

Manually rack the slide back and forth to break it in. Also, rack the slide open and leave it open for 24 hours, that will loosen it up

I upgraded all three of my G series guns and ever since then each of of them keep making mis fires (duds). I contacted Lakeline for some feedback and they gave me nothing--they said the guns are dirty ; and they are not dirty these are clean. The misfires (over 10%) started as soon as I placed the parts in them....bad customer service.

putting that little 2-piece retaining thing was the hardest thing for me. big hands and 30 years of heavy bag training make that really hard.

    • @Leepegues

It’s cerakote through PSA. They are the only site that carry this midnight Bronze online. Could be wrong though.

I just put in the recoil spring assembly and FULL striker assembly from Lakeline and the slide is catching about 1/32in from being in full battery occasionally if I gently rack the slide. If I pull it back and just let go it goes into battery immediately. Is this normal?

      UPDATE
I’m using a G2C also. I put in the original striker assembly and I’m not having this issue. Any suggestions? Is this because it’s a new striker assembly and just needs broke in?
