Wonderful! I started a tradition with my kids starting when they were 2, 3, & 4 ( they're a year apart) where every summer we have a tie dye party, this was in the late 1980s and now we're doing it with my grandchildren! Thanks for showing some great techniques that don't require a lot of tools etc. Beautiful!

I can’t attest to what is used in this video however I can tell you Dharma Trading Company is on of the best sold here in the U.S.A. :) What do you use there?
@@cleoyeoman8394 Thanks. I don't know what kind the one here is, no company produces, that I know of. It's just sold randomly in market. I'm not sure whether it's been imported.
This but what would happen if you did green, orange, and purple on the other side of it? Like, have purple half in the red and blue, green in yellow and blue, and orange in yellow and red? I'd do it myself but I don't have the set up yet.
It's exciting to learn tie dying. I'm going to try pillow cases once I go through your list of vendors. Rit dye doesn't work very well. I'm looking for the deep saturated colors in your video. Thank you so much.
Heyo I wanted to give an idea for something you could do in June, obviously I’m really early for this but might as well be early than late :) maybe lgbtqia+ flags? Since June is pride month you could do that it’d be really cool

@@11chago11 Yes it can be a problem. Some solutions for you would be to either use smaller bottles with needle tip or to use thickening agents in your dye solution. We like to use sodium alginate powder in our dye mix it gives you much more control and prevents dripping.

Is there a way to do a tie-die that has the pattern look like you died it in a maelstrom?
Great spiral.
This is very nice! I'm trying this next. But I'm curious to know what kind of dye y'all use. The ones available in my country aren't this vibrant

Now the question is how to stop colors running out and to make them fix during washing
Make sure you use soda ash and natural fiber clothing.
Beautiful😍

Sheeeeeeeeeeesh incredible
Was the shirt inside out when you dyed it?
how do you get such good saturation without the colors bleeding into each other??

So cool! Will the jar lid hold the center of the spiral in place even if I'm not switching directions?
You don't really need to hold the center in place if you aren't changing direction
Love the color

Fiber-reactive dyes mixed with water and soda ash to activate the dye.

Nếu bạn chỉ tô màu 1 mặt thôi còn mặt kìa để trắng thì hoa văn này ra sao?

What kind of colors did they use
Смотрится очень ярко и весело. Можно одеть такую футболку на пикничок или пляж. Но при стирке же она полиняет...
Только спросить хотела про стирку.
Would you consider selling the shirts you make?
