Mr. Frudua: Thank you so much for your extraordinary videos👏🏻🙂💥. Your willingness to share of your musical gift, your knowledge about The Beatles is commendable💥. I'm a Beatles fan since my childhood and greatly enjoy listening to your melodious voice. Also, I'm always delighted to listen to the Beatles harmonies when you sing and never tire of doing so! John's voice is tricky for me to imitate; however, when you sing it individually, I can reproduce it😊! Many thanks and be blessed‼️🙌🏻 🙋‍♀️🎸🎶🥁🎻🎶🌷

I’ve been watching your videos pretty much from the beginning and it’s clear the work that goes in to them and it’s very much appreciated by the fans. I listen to the Beatles almost every day and the best compliment that I can offer to you is that your videos ensure that the best band in the world are made even more interesting than they had been previously to me.
Understanding the harmonies firstly tells me that they were even better than I thought they were and that making a harmony sound simple is sometimes very far from actually being simple.
It takes a great talent to write and perform these songs but it also takes a great talent to be able to decode the harmonies and present them in isolation.
    Bravo!

He’s so right - about everything Beatles - one thing in particular. The chord inversions. I started as a jazz player chordally. You cannot play different inversions - bass notes in particular. In other words if they use a lot of open chords ,sometimes with a capo or alternate tuning . If you play say an E chord with a G# in the bass it will clash with the bass. You’ve got to be acutely aware of Paul’s basslines.
The fact that Paul came up with a busy bass line in Something, and made it work says volumes of how well they intuitively they played together .
I know George thought it was too busy initially . If you just played the root of the chords,on the beat or backbeat it would sound terrible.
I say that as I’ve heard bands wing it without Paul’s line . It sounded terrible.

Thank you so much for what you do. I have watched many of your videos and enjoy them all. I am not in a band and I will likely never sing what I have learned from you. Still, your videos makes my life richer. Like many others, I am curious about the harmonies and the intricate aspects of the Beatles music and you unlock all the secrets. So, many of us are not musicians or singers but still get a lot from your videos. One tiny side note. I only speak one language, English, and you speak at least two so you are way ahead of me. But it took me a long time to figure out what your were saying when you pronounced "unison." You say you-NEE-zon. We say YOU-ni-sun! (ni: short i like in "hip"' and "sun" with an s sound, not a z). Keep up the good work. I just sent you a modest donation to express my thanks.

Indeed it was very modest :)
I can’t recall which author said this about one of his contemporaries -I’ll use Faulkner as a default-
“ Faulkner is very modest, and has much to be modest about “
      - Sounds like Oscar Wilde type of wit , but it’s not.
Please take what I wrote in the sense it was meant.

Your comments about the tempos used by cover artists and amateurs (like me!) are absolutely correct. Most people play at a quicker tempo than the originals, and even then will still rush the tempo. Even Paul McCartney does this with his own band! Scott Joplin wrote on the score of one of his piano pieces "Do not play this piece fast. It is never right to play ragtime fast." The same is true for many classic Rock&Roll songs, I feel. Thank you for bring so much clarity to Beatles' music analysis.

First of all I thank you Galeazzo for being so openly generous.
I wonder if the beautiful song "Yes it is" was dedicated by John to his beloved mother Julia, too early and tragically dead. In the film "Nowhere boy" we see Julia wearing red (scarlet) clothes always. Besides, those lyrics "everybody knows, I'm sure" seem to refer to Julia's uncommonly free living way.
    ¿Am I right?

Wonderful video Galeazzo, yet again. I thoroughly enjoyed it and value your passion for the Beatles. Donation is on its way. I love Italy and the Italians but do you wish you were born in England and were a teenager in the sixties? I do feel privileged to have that honour and my wife’s aunty and uncle are from Liverpool and we have friends from there who know the Beatles landscape well. I can say no more but my son, a professional musician has a close connection with a McCartney offspring.

I did the same as you when I was young placing a speaker on either ear ..lol..Ahh you have made clear the idea of the three part harmony concerning the Beatles...and let me tell you ..you have mastered the Beatles vocals...Johns and Paul's and Georges..to me anyways..I have followed you for a long time because I love the Beatles and you are immensely talented..Did you know here in my part of America that the most popular nationality in terms of .....if one could choose what ethnicity to be ....the most popular answer is Italian...when I grew up the girls always liked the Italian guys...I know that is a useless piece of trivia
.but I often wonder if Italians from Italy know how popular their American bothers and sisters are in terms of their work ethic .and family values...

It's curious to know why the Beatles very rarely thanked or gave the true credit to people who helped them such as Martin, Emerick, or even Epstein. Maybe they wanted to always protect their legacy by always being the main ones who were responsible to their success when in reality that's not true at all. Great video!!

I think u should consider doing something about the Beach Boys... Brian Wilson was a genius about arranging armonies, producing and composing, he was one of the first to use inversion of the chords on the bass in pop, even Elton John said it was a huge inspiration.
Pet Sounds actually inspired Sgt Peppers and as you probably know God Only Knows is one of Paul's all time favourite songs.
Such an underrated artist, cause everybody knows Beach Boys just as the funny "summer tune" band... but they created also really cool and experimental stuff, and they were the real rivals of the Beatles even more than Rolling Stones imo.

Not true. Good bass players have been playing major, and minor scales starting on the third or minor third ,fifth or any other notes in respect to chord inversions etc.
You’re comparing hacks that only play root - fifth to actual bass players.
Jamerson, Kay,and McCartney certainly changed the idea of melodic bass playing in the sixties.
Brian was not playing anything special on the bass, those creative bass lines were Carol Kay or Joe Osborn on the evolved Beach Boys material.
I’m not knocking Brian, he’s beyond brilliant .
What makes Paul different is he wrote melodies ,and lyrics, and performed as a singing bassist in popular music.
Nobody had done that before to the degree of Paul’s melodic, and harmonic sense.

@@jacquescousteau217 We all agree Paul is amazing for sure. But even he himself admitted he was inspired by Brian's work (and the other way around too), Sgt Pepper's came from Pet Sounds that came from Rubber Soul, it was a cool exchange of inspirations. I'm sure the other artists had a great impact on them too...
Brian was even inspired by the vocal and jazz groups of the 40s and 50s like the Four Freshmen, the Ronnetes etc.. and even Gershwin and Faurè.
Art and music is all about influences and making new things with those, "growing on the shoulders of giants".
It's also interesting that both Brian and Paul started as bassists to became great arrangers and songwriters. He was not the first to do that, but he was one of the first to make that popular in pop. I mean if Elton John said it we can believe it, he is a great and educated piano player.
Brian was not just a good player, he had a vision for his compositions, he upgraded the producing game, so did the beatles, Paul in particular cause he was the one who was more into chords, harmony and structure, like Brian was the creative mind behind the beach boys songs.

I was happy that somebody asked you the question about the Billy Shears situation.
There is a guy here on UA-cam who has a Paul is dead channel and he makes the most preposterous claims.
So I started posting comments refuting those claims, but did he address them like a man?
No, instead he blocked me LOL
Now his new thing is that the Beatles didn't write their own music. And to prove this he says that in Nowhere Man John makes use of a minor plagal cadence, but yet John claimed to have no musical education. That supposedly proves that he didn't write the song 😂
I told the guy when I write songs I use minor plagal cadences also, because I learned it from listening to the Beatles, so I incorporated it into my songs.
I'm sure John learned it like that also because the Beatles were born before rock and roll, and it's commonplace in some of the standards that were popular in their youth.
I told him it's a simple as going from the IV chord to the I chord except you play the major IV, then the minor IV, before returning to the I chord.
Be that as it may, keep up the good work because you really love, respect, and do justice to The Beatles work.

I believe all of the Beatles (excluding Ringo) were tenors. Paul was the only one with any type of training so he was able to use his full vocal range. John and George just sung in a comfortable register for them

@@LeChaunce it’s just the tone of their voice isn’t that of a baritone to me. Maybe it’s their nasally accent that gives their singing voice that tone.
