More fine wilderness ...and yes I agree about Ruaha and the now named Nyerere. All still amazing places for wildlife.... despite the 21st century

Nice video! Thank you for sharing! Could you please post it with the original soundtrack from the bush? Although the music is nice nothing in my opinion beats the sound of the bush with the birdscalls, especially in Jully.. I drived from Lusaka in Zambia to Katavi np in 2009 and stayed there for three nights.. The best memories was from the area around the Katuma river at Ikuu. A lots of lions and other wildlife there.

    Wonderful educational video
Of the Southern Parks (Ruaha Nyere) & Katavi which would you recommend most highly?

Thank you very much for your kind comment, appreciate it very much! So glad you enjoy watching our videos. We have been to Ruaha just before Katavi and to Selous in 2017. All parks a absolutely unique in their own right. So to compare them does not make them justice but from a landscape perspective, Ruaha offfers an absolutely stunning view with the river beds, the hills and the baobab trees. Selous has the lakes with boat safari. So it is worth visiting them all but I would return to Ruaha and Selous. Also they are more easy to reach than Katavi. Wishing you all the best and best regards, Markus

Would it be too optimistic to hope that Lycoan pictus is there or rarer antelope such as sable?

Thank you very much for your kind comment. I doubt about wild dogs, but we have seen the sable antelopes. Unfortunately they were hiding deep inside the bush and therefore no video footage was possible, but they are there. Wishing you all the best and best regards, Markus
