Probably gonna lose my warranty for this one, but I cut 1-4 inch material on my excavator brush cutter all the time. I even used it to push over small trees. The welds are so tough, can’t beat their quality.
I have the brush eliminator. I like it okay, but I don't like the hydraulic crossover braking of the blades every time my machine takes hydraulic fluid away, such as moving the machine. It will temporarily take hyd fluid from the Aux circuit. The cutter will wind down which makes a lot of noise when it does it. It takes away the momentum of the blade carrier, then it has to spin back up when aux pressure returns. Seems a bit pointless other than to slow the carrier down quickly with Aux pressure is turned off to keep it from free-wheeling for an extended period.

Are you using a bypass relief valve at the motor to eliminate pressure build up when the operator shuts of the blade?

So they both have the same motor and power correct? Ones just built tougher.
