Suggestion for safety, I have one of these mulchers also and I installed a lexan panel on the front of my machine to prevent debri from coming back on me.
That’s awesome I have the same excavator and have been looking at this . Can you run the mulcher head and track at the same time? Also did you consider buying the economy bush hog version instead of the mulcher and if so are you happy with your decision? Thanks for making the videos.
Thanks for your comment. The mulcher head does run when you track, but it slows the RPM down on the head. I am extremely happy thus far with it. My only complaint is the weight of the head itself. You definitely want to add some counterweight if you are going to be doing ditches or ponds. I considered the economy version but really wanted something serious. With this, I got the disc and a set of blades to use for an additional charge. I think it is worth it. I will do a video soon showing how I handled the weight issue. 💪 thanks for watching a commenting. Considering subscribing!
I know this video does not capture the true capabilities of this mulcher, but I wanted to use it on something, and the ditch on our rental property was perfect. It's very steep sided and is always full of water. The county does their best, but we wanted more curb appeal. Thanks for watching everyone! More vids to come.
We will show more of this mulcher in action. We wanted to highlight its uses. Those ditches had standing water and were very steep and deep. Why would we weed eat them when we have something like this? Thanks!
