I got the saddlemen explorer due to the wife needing an ample passenger pillion... l love the feel and she is super comfortable as well. Working in parts at Harley these seats are the first I recommend. I also mention that they are firm but when it comes to a seat firm = support I don’t get sore at all with the saddlemen.
Thanks for the kind words, we appreciate you.
I swear by my saddlemen. Hands down the best upgrade I’ve done. I have a review video coming out Monday on it. After the 500 mile break in, it’s absolutely amazing!
Her two wheels I watched your review of the Saddlemen seat and enjoyed your presentation so much that I subscribed to your channel. Thanks for an awesome review with a comparison to the stock seat that was on your bike.
@@nunyabidness9100 Thanks!! I appreciate it!!
Best seat have one one my street glide takes about 300 miles to really break it in. Also had a Danny grey seat my wife hated it but the saddlemen she loves it! Yes they all have gel!!! 💯💯💯
I live in a 3rd world country and I really work hard to save money and it might take me a couple of years but I am so positive I will own a HD motorcycle. Thank you for sharing the video keeps me inspired all the time.
It's been a year, what's you progress?
Gotta SaddleMen road sofa for my 18 RGS. Wow what a difference. Worth every penny. Get loads of compliments on the stitching. Top of the line seats for sure. BTW they do break in to your posterior. 👍🏼
Thank you for the support and kind words!
The coin sound at the the toll booth is awesome, I laughed.
😁
@@BlockheadMoto classic Blockhead move!
Thanks for the review, it answered all the questions I had about getting one of these. Ordered mine today!
Thank you , we appreciate it.
Finally pulled the trigger. Sold my lucky Dave’s diamond stitch and got the saddlemen tuck n roll.
Same seat I run from unknown industries Saddleman Stepup on my bike
The seat looks badass on the bike brotha!
Great review - been considering the road sofa for my Triumph America - if I don’t take the plunge and move to HD
In Borat Voice: Very Nice!
Keep your head up brother🤘🏽 I know times like these suck but better things will come.
Happened over 3 months ago as stated in previous vid. I’m doing great, thank you guys, I appreciate it! 👍🏼
@@BlockheadMoto Quick Question, looked at saddleman website and doesn't seem like they make that seat for my bike..... Looks bad ass on you bike, her2wheels & Bumble Bolt..... Will they custom make for my bike? I was about to pull trigger on the profiler 2up seat.... until I saw the Bolt video. Thanks in advance
Good stuff man,Saddleman makes great seats 💯
Happy to hear that confidence back in your communication bud , well done .
I haven't had any luck with locating this seat for my FLHC, I have reached out to contact you have provided. Will let you know my results. Thanks BLOCKHEAD for this Video and link.
Feel free to give us a call if we can be of assistance 800 397 7709 , thanks!
Can you give us a link to the sissy bar.. and rear tail lights
Tails are stock, sissy bar is Top Hand Performance
BLOCKHEAD what length? Where can I buy? I’m not finding anything online
INC5108 top hand ventures
Watching you ride in a short sleeve shirt bums me out. Living in the great white North can be trying at times. I'm not sure I can make it to Spring 😢
Jonny BigRig T minus 4 months to go I’m with you friend
I feel ya brother. Makes me think about moving south.
ohhhh man. I love living in Canada but the winters kill me on the inside!
@@VINLAND_FXB I'm in Newfoundland. We are getting a pounding this year by mother nature
@@timbonnell3735 Cape Breton here, and we have a shit ton of snow here too but Newfoundland is beyond this year!
Ohhh yes , the Road Sofa is my travel seat, but for around town, I love the step up seat. I just wish the Road Sofa sat me lower into the bike. I catch alot more wind in the visor .
Looks great on the bike. The way it cuts a sharp downward angle really gives it a much more aggressive look.
Awesome video, I've been looking to replace my stock V-Star seat and was just looking at Saddlemen seats yesterday. I wasn't sure which seat to go with Saddlemen or Mustang but your recommendation of a Saddlemen seat helped me make a decision. Thanks Blockhead!
Yeah but everyone talks about riders comfort but how about the passenger....is this seat comfortable for passenger ?
Francisc our Pro Foam is designed to help absorb road impacts and support the rider as well the passenger. Please feel free to view our videos on our channel on how our seats are built and work. Thanks!
Block! Again with the late night upload! Definitely got me interested in the brand, we'll see if I can find a simple two-up for my Sporty.
Have yet to get sick of the stock seat, I just wanna be able to get a passenger on my bike :p
EDIT: Just checked the site. The way they have it set up and their items organized is a little convoluted. Not a huge fan of some of their aesthetic choices. The construction DOES look promising, however. I'm excited to see where this company goes, I'd be happy to support it.
The same seat on my sporty is great! Takes a bit to break in but it is awesome! Unknown Industries has some. Great install and superior fit!
I put one of these on my Breakout and love it.
LMAO dat swordsmanship is epic
Nice seat! What sissy bar is that?
Thanks dude this was helpful as i customise and sell HD from the UK. We dont get that much of Saddlemen here so it was good to hear about it. THANKS DUDE! If ever you're in the UK hit me up for some free rides.
How is this for a 5’11” rider? I’m concerned about this seat pushing me forward, I’m looking for a bit more room for my legs than stock. Using stock mid controls with kuryakin mini floorboards.
I just bought a saddleman for my Dyna a few months ago and it's pretty stiff
The sword though 😂
Hey Block what gloves are you wearing in the video, I know they're obviously Rev'It but what ones? Love your videos man keep them coming. 👌😎
Was that an impression of SkidPig?
Been watching you for so long bro. Back when the vance&hines auto tune was giving you problems. Lol i ended up getting a iron 883 for my first bike and mod it just like you did. Then sold it and i now have no bike :(. Us army veteran here. Got a lot of veterans to follow you 🤘
I heard the tuck-n-roll style is more comfortable? Besides being the style for customs in my day. Saving for an '07 Sportster now...
Checked out Saddlemans for a seat for a 2014 Star Raider and nothing comes up for my bike. I also just purchased a phone cover and mount from Rocform. Thanks for the information.
The problem with buying a new seat from the Internet is you haven’t tried it but you bought it. 🤷🏻
Just got one for my busa and feels so much better lol
The gold diamond stitched option would of went well with your levers...
I think the low rider S is pretty sweet, but that new Rocket III has me absolutely drooling. For the same price point I think Triumph gets the W on this one
Damn, that sky and those clouds at 2:45 are just beautiful! One of the great benefits of riding is that I feel like I appreciate and experience mother nature much more than when driving in a car.
Are you going to add any other mods ? Bars or fairing ?
When the seat breaks in, it will slide back a little and slide down because of the styrofoam compression.
We use a progressive density foam that indeed does require a break in period ( typically 350-500 ). That along with our Gel Core makes for a winning combination.
absolutely love my Saddlemen Stepup!!!
I ordered my saddlemen explorer special seat. I havent been able to ride with it since im waiting for my big bore kit!
Just got my step up seat looks amazing. Can't wait to get the bike back on the road and try this seat out. You might want to get a locking screw on it to stop it getting nicked!!
Would you say buy this seat for a 2019 iron 883 because I hate the seat or get better shocks because most people say the rear suspension sucks on the iron but I just literally got mine days ago so I couldn’t comment on the suspension?????
I watched another review showing paint damage on the rear fender caused by the rivets on the underside of the seat. I'm not sure how much 2-up riding the guy was doing, but have you noticed the same problem?
@Blockhead Did the vibration on the bike messed up your phone's camera? I've been hearing it happening to people with their phones on the handlebar.
Damit I was over wanting one of those ! Sure looks nice . Do another review after the break in is done .
Have put about 400 miles on it since install, review vid incoming after 1000!
Givin me more thoughts on how I want my bike to look before I even get one lol
Yeah been riding with the step-up on my dyna for a year now and I love it.
Happy to hear that Alex- now go ride :)
A Saddlemen step up seat is on my list of things to get on my bike before next spring! My wife thinks I’m crazy for wanting to buy a $500 seat for a 20 year old bike, I sure hope it’s worth the investment.
Zac - riding is believing- let us know :)
Yo youre my favorite to watch! Keep doing what your doing!
Blockhead, have you ever watched John Bulushi Samurai Hotel - SNL skit? If you haven’t you need too
I’ll have to check that out!
I currently own a 2015 FLD and I took a low rider s (2020) for a ride and I can’t get it out of my head. Was super surprised how well it handled. There was a huge difference in power and felt more like my old sporty in size. I’ll probably get one sooner then later. How much did it cost to get the cruise added?
Can’t recall the cost of cruise, I think it was a hundred’ish for the new module + like an hour of labor. Well worth it!
Hey Blockhead, do you have Saddlemen on the OG 883? I'm looking to change my seat on my 883. Low rider S is beautiful
Let us know :)
What sissy bar do you have on your bike? I find the pickings for the low rider s to be very slim right now.
Anyone on the new softails have issues with the bike not wanting to downshift into 1st? I got a new low rider s and sometimes it doesn't shift into first when slowing down. I have to step on the lever several times. All other gears go fine though.
I have a saddlemen on my wide glide and I like it they seem to break in and get more comfortable in time
Paul that's exactly right , thanks for your support.
Hey block. I put one of these on my dyna lowrider s and I love it the first 500 miles is a little tough but after that and I breaks in it’s a absolutely amazing! It’s firm and holds you in but it’s great I’ve done over 500 in a single day with it!
Nice! Just did like 350 miles on it in 2 days, not bad!
Lol love the Ninja Block segment. Nice seat n the low rider's looking good.
God damn the sky looks beautiful 😍
I keep trying to figure out what’s the little white bike in the back corner. I keep thinking it’s a zero.
Honda Grom 😁
Did you know, Arlen Ness FORGED oval mirrors come in GOLD? hmm....I knew you'd come back to post dyna bikes. Nice choice of bike...
Does anyone know which sissy bar Blockhead had in this video?
I reckon it will be appreciated over time for your back to me looks nice and old school too
if you like a hard seat yea its for you for 500 bucks. no thx
I got one for my fxst and it has a weird stain on
Call them up, guarantee they’ll fix it, their customer service is tops
What sissy bar are you using?
Top Hand Performance
@@BlockheadMoto Can't find a website for them.
Buy a solo seat mate! Time to fly solo a bit! ;-))
Need rear pillion for my bag on the sissy bar
BLOCKHEAD I hear you dude! 😉
Blockhead what sissy bar do you have on?
That’s how you open a box.
They don’t have one for my Dyna Superglide. Bummer
What year?
Do you have a discount code for saddlemen?
If I ever get a bike, I want to upgrade my seat to a saddlemen. Looks good and comfortable. Tuck and roll for sure!!.. And with the RS SV Crest.... Ooo wweee!
I have the same seat on my 2018 FXBB and I don't really like it. It hasn't broken in a year, still stiff as hell, my butt goes numb on it after 1 hour of riding and the lumbar support part is way too square and upright, it does give a lot of support but it also pushes against my ass in an uncomfortable way. The quality is excellent but the seat was build for a lego man. I highly recommend a Whiplash seat instead.
I was seriously looking at getting the Saddleman seat for my 48. Nothing but raving reviews for it. Ended up getting a Lucky Daves instead just because the ascetics was a little better for my particular ride. If I had a different bike I would definitely go with a Saddleman.
Hi Blockhead, enjoy your clips as I too have a 2020 Low Rider S. After broke in does the seat raise you up higher from the stock seat. Also does it move you any more forward. These questions pertain to after it is broke in. Thanks and keep them co. Ride safe.
I believe Saddlemen makes their seats from Marine-Grade Vinyl just like Lucky Daves. Definitely not leather though.
Your sounding little under the weather brutha. Take care. Saddle.en have other items like bags and other accessories that are awsome
I'm thinking of going to a saddle men for my 19 roadglide but slower style than what Harleysstock seat. I sit fi e on the stock but want to sit lower
Looks good man. 👌
It takes 500-700 miles to fully break in!
400 down!
Unfortunately this bike is to expensive for me
Bro. The knife had me giggling
Good Channel. But why no Protection Jacket ? New young Rider watching aswell.
Hey blockhead I tried using your code for the atlas helmets and it doesnt work
They are running a Black Friday sale right now with a discount greater than the Blockhead discount.
@@oregonoutback7779 yeah I know but I also wanted to double stack that shit you know
Can’t double stack, lol
At the end of the video when you reached toward the strap on the sissy-bar, I thought you were going to strap the bike to one of those posts all "anti-theft" like. That would have been so funny.
That new seat looks siiiick!!
Wow she’s clean, but I’m more of a Lucky Daves guy lol
The accents are badass (Russian, English, etc.). Keep it up. Bike's looking nice.
Except good seat, like your knife too...make me giggling
Don't they need to be broken in for a bit. I. Bet your next review will find it softer.
Yeah people say 5-700 miles
Typically 340-500 miles and you're golden.
It's funny you post a video about changing a seat the day after my dog decided to turn my seat into a chew toy. So now I am seat shopping.
Oh damn! Bad dog, haha
@@BlockheadMoto Haha, bad dog indeed. I didn't realize it at first but she also chewed off one of my plug wires.
@@haydenlee7376 bummer , had my dog eat plug wires and plugs about a month ago.
Honestly I was very impressed by the stock lowrider s seat how ever I can see why you’d want to change it cause it’s pretty ugly
The sword reminds me of The blue bike and doyle using the little knife during mail call
It looks awesome!
Man, I wish you got Lucky Dave’s.
Got one on my Superglide, been on there about 12 months. Love the look but I wouldn't exactly say she's overly comfortable. The high back is good, thinking a Lucky Dave's may have been a better option, more of a rounded shape from seat to back. Would look to get something else, but in Australia came to over $700 so it'll stay for some time yet :(
Anxiously awaiting the build series to start on this bike. I remember you stated you were going to set it up more for long distance commutes. I am thinking of maybe getting a Low Rider S and turning it into an FXRT style bike.
