I think reason why Eddie was torturing Samantha was not only to get her to use her powers, but a personal vendetta against her and weaver. In one of documents from Samantha she wrote in her diary how she and Weaver failed to save a boy and a woman from burning house, making Weaver guilty of their deaths, and Samantha. Knowing that it was Samantha and Weaver responsibility for the death of his wife and son I think it was revenge move on Samantha from Eddie, making her feel pain that he went through losing his son and wife.
My question is why hasn't weaver got a Russian accent, dudes Russian sounding more American than a redneck

I believe this is the entire reason that Primis Rictoffen collected his soul early. Whatever he did to Eddie in the time between origins and DerEisendrache cause him to keep his memories.

Alot of people may have already said this, but I wonder if when they went through the portal to the new world something happened, a tear in dimension or something like that. It took Samantha's memories of everything while it did the opposite, it flooded him with every richtofen's memories turning him into a mad man
He seemed pretty stable. The picture in his office suggests he has a wife and son, and he's the director of a major military branch
@@0ut1aw fair, but that also brings a new theory, maybe when they went in, they both lost their memories, but when they opened the portals to the dark eather, something snapped and the memories came flooding back? Or when the dark aether was brought back, something snapped and turned him mad, reminding him of Samantha's powers or something. I just feel like his sudden madness is due to the dark aether or memories or past richtofen's?
@spectraltheproto1155 Eddie doesn't strike me as "mad." He seems to know what he's doing pretty well and has seemingly planned out just about everything. I don't think he's really out of control in any way. He appears to be entirely calculated in what he does

Is it possible Eddie my have gotten his hands on the krenorum and know all the events that happened in the time line because when they went to the new world they shouldn’t have had any memories so at some point did Eddie find it and read it and that’s how he seems to know so much and is in such a high ranking position

I think he is hitting those buttons intentionally so he doesn't have to torture her and when he says it's a good day, I think he really means it, because it means he won't have to be this way anymore

Considering Primis and Ultimis Richthofen being insane, Eddie is probably the only sane and innocent soul in the universe. But not really all innocent or good as adult. I do wonder what Eddie’s plans for himself and requiem, looking forward next year cod game.

I think that when "Zombie" Richtofen died, his soul was tied to the Dark Aether. Maybe when the universe collapsed, it fused with Eddie's soul. Kind of like Saraxis soul and memories were separated and fused in Vanguard Shino Numa. His compassion for Samuel for deceiving him, he ended up naming his son after him. It's not a coincidence, he remembers him. Eddie wouldn't of known because they were talking telepathically. Just my thought.
This explains why the rictofen we know in bo1 zombies is so evil because he's hearing the grown up Samantha telling him to kill the zombies and his friends.

Makes no sense however, we already had the voices answered in Black Ops 3. It was explained that the voices in Richtofen’s head were the ShadowmN and unintelligible whispers from the Apothicons who trapped outside reality in the dark aether but connected to (and corrupted) his mind whe. He teleported to the moon and touched the MPD device for the first time (you can revisit that in the moon’s radios too).

In black ops 1 Gregory Weaver was interrogating Mason in the Revelations Mission!!!!!! Weaver was using the same Voice changer….
It was also hudson in there being the main interrogator.

I feel it would be more interesting if Eddie was actually just like utilitarian good where he wants good but he chooses to do all these heinous things in pursuit of good choosing to be evil as like a means to an end

i don't think it ever actually ended, they just went to a different dimension IMO. think of eddie and samantha as the new version of the blood vials: as long as they exist, so does everything else tied to them. that's why a lot of the newer enemies looke incredibly familiar. the abominations and the mimics are very similar to the margwas, mauer der toten has the keeper's emo cousin, we got the russian mangler back, and some other tiny call backs such as samantha returning from the dark aether with the primis crew's gear, nacht der untoten existing in 2 different forms, the perks, mystery box, and pack a punch which monty created, and it might be a stretch, but i kind of think that the alter that you get the super easter egg rewards from could be a new form of monty and the shadow man or something. when you activate it, they say some things that could be from they're perspective, or someone else that was important to the story. treyarch likes to throw us off and make us think something completely different from what they're actually doing, once they see us move on and "forget what we know" they'll probably have everything come full circle and give us half li- i mean chronicles 2

i think the reason why eddie tortures samantha imo of it is because she came from the same place eddie did, he has his memmories but she doesnt. hes likely either doing it to fix his original world and dimension that he lived in and trying to set things right or he has managed to retain knowledge of other versions of him self in some way and is looking to destroy any evidence of his dimension which has travelled over without killing samantha and is doing it by trying to see everything she is capable of by using key moments he remembers from the past dimension such as killing the dog or possibly turning the dog into a hell hound in order to trigger everything he needs for the research he can gather in order to get the timeline of the original dimension back on track to what is needed to be done in order to win and prevent it from happening yet again.
i think eddie does for sure have good intentions however has no choice in his mind to do things hes not even comftable of in order to get things done within their own original dimension.

I believe that Richtofen soul is connected to all the other Richtofen even though he was killed as an innocent child version it seems that he remembers everything that happened to Nikolai and the other premise and ultimate version of them He's recreating all the incidents that group 935 did in the past like killing Samantha's dog and made to hellhound that can teleport then calling the Omega agent to be killed by an innocent child pulls a trigger so it gives Samantha an option just like how Nikolai died. it seems that the universe brought back old memories that he can remember from all his other counterparts into the new universe and since they were separated for so long she doesn't know the extent of her true power but he does That's why I believe

I believe with Mason and Reznov, it isn't DID, but Mason entering a completely manic state where he believes he is Reznov and yet believes he was there next to him, judging by how overly aggressive he acts. I highly doubt it's DID as we know nothing of Mason's childhood, however it could be likely Samantha Maxis does

Richtofen is dead though eddie is a seperate character now that shares no ties to richtofen other than last name and face.But we don’t know if he even embraces his last name.richtofen doesn’t exist anymore and is long and gone
@@JulioHernandez-vi9to true but they are all part of the same whole. Eddie was also around to meet his older self at the house if I'm not mistaken. He would remember the zombies, the parallel world, ect if he remembers all that about Sam. So he would/should be doing everything possible to prevent another bout of that. I don't mind him being a schemer and he could USE that but for the betterment of mankind.

Nah the truth is she killed Eddie’s child and wants revenge but also wants to use her powers to most likely travel to a different dimension to see his kid but no other dimension exist their is no multiverse

I saw a video some years back saying that Richthofens original soul didn’t really die, but overtook Eddie’s soul. So Richthofen didn’t really die, and this is probably why the dark aether still exists. Don’t quote me on this, I saw this video once and a long time ago. So I can’t remember. Simply put, it’s still the evil Richthofen who is Eddie.
I’m about to blow that theory away. When they destroyed the multiverse and the character sacrificed themselves.they completely erased evey existing incarnation of richtofen meaning no richtofen would survive.Eddie survived because his soul was purified.And separated from richtofen.richtofen soul would count as an incarnation .And we also learn that if any version exist in any form wither it be a soul or flesh the cycle would restart and we’re back at square one.Since the cycle hasn’t restarted that means richtofen doesn’t exist in any form.meaning Eddie is his own soul

jesus christ, I can't believe they're still prolonging such a mediocre and short story. I bought that CoD in early 2022 and basically nothing has changed since then. 2 years of totally wasted game.
Becouse they are working on the next game that continues the story.and they are getting more development time instead of being rushed like they have been
