The vocalist Will Ramos did one-takes for the whole ep you should check out, they’re incredible
They’ve had multiple vocalists. One is currently in Chelsea grin and darko. The other is about to release a new project this Friday. Will Ramos (current Lorna shore vocalist) actually has a one take of this song because people were genuinely questioning his ability to do the song live. He doesn’t disappoint in my opinion
The previous vocalist was booted for sexual assault allegations or something along those lines at the time.

Basically 2 girls were proven to be lying to slander and destroy CJ's image and got away with it. Lorna kicked him out based on the allegations, and the girls got no legal reprecussions for fucking up CJ's life. He is coming out with music soon. Hopefully he comes back HARD

I'm guessing he started it so he could talk about the allegations, I'm only assuming because he has 3 videos on there and the first one uploaded talks about what happened when he was kicked from LS. Just started watching it today myself, he shows his side of the story through text message conversations with both of the women who slandered him on the video.

Yea CJ, they’re previous vocalist from the immortal album got booted due to abuse allegations. It was absolutely crazy because he was considered the craziest vocalist of the genre(though I disagree). This dude tho will Ramos is absolutely phenomenal as far as range and dynamics.
Well, Will doesn't change his facial expressions while screaming... However, when you look at CJ's expressions you'll realize that there's something absolutely wrong...

They are very different, both very powerful but to me cj has way better lows and wills highs are heavenly. But see, cj has more anger in it where as will has a cleaner sound and you can hear wills words more clearly. I personally think cj has more tools with his vocals over will but I can’t compare either cuz dicky Allen is really the king imo and I don’t even listen to IA like that but his vocals are top top to me
As for a guy just discovering Lorna Shore, the new singer and their new sound is so much better than what they did before. But then again, Im an old black metal guy and this is just amazing
Can I just say I remember when Will was the lead vocalist of A Wake In Providence and people were all aboard the hate train. They couldn't stop raving about the guy they brought in to replace him, I for one was bummed. It's so awesome too see Will get the love and recognition he so truly deserved this whole time. I know he floats around these reaction videos and comment sections quite often so Will if you see this, some of us always loved your work brother. Keep up the monster work and Wolf Hunterz keep doing your thing too! Quality all the way around 🤘🏻

The progression of metal is so interesting nowadays. How heavy can a song be made, and what constitutes heavy? I would think that at some point it would be so heavy and low that it would be totally unlistenable but so far, little catchy nuances are being introduced just to make particular bands stand out. One thing is for sure, the musicianship has hit its peak.
Musicianship sure. Vocalist wise. Throat fucking a microphone sounding like a T-Rex having a stroke isn't "heavy" to me it's just corny.

Lorna - Shore of the Abyss in my opinion is the best track on that EP I would love to see you check it out. I always love seeing your reactions. Also would love the Wolf Hunterz to come out with some new music I've check out what you have so far and I loved it.
CJ got kicked out because of some negative allegations that couldn't be proven wrong or right. So it was like " we better split up before we end up messing up our image...". Tbh I liked CJ in Lorna Shore but Will is on another lvl and has definitely a lot more potential for future projects. If they keep up the good work, they will definitely go down as one of the best in the genre.

The "pig squeal" -like scream was inspired by the one done in "unholy gravebirth" by Infant Annhilator singer, which Will Ramos is a huge fan. So it's not something new but just done more deeper and better in its execution

As a few other pointed out. The old vocalist was accused of sexual abuse and the band parted ways with him. Nothing more to say on that. Will filled in to finish the tour and then officially joined the band.
What’s wild on the topic at 9:45, he doesn’t, from what I’ve heard, he primarily uses fry screams, which is fucking nuts. Genuinely, as a dude who can *kinda* fry scream, hearing someone like Will is an immediate, heavy reminder I’m nowhere near talented. Guy is masterful. The live takes are amazing to see too if y’all want to see a more detailed, less processed version. I’d argue it sounds even better

Lorna Shore has gone thru 2 vocalists Tom Barber joined Chelsea Grin and CJ McReery got Weinsteined for being abusive to his Ex. Will Ramos is better than the previous two Vocalists for this style of Blackened Deathcore.
