I have a 2 yr old Irish Setter and this video is 100% accurate to me. I do think ISs are great for first time dog owners, but they need to really, really understand just how much energy and exuberance they have. They are 150% of what a first timer might expect. We call our Dash the Tomato Tornado. Even after monthlong boarded training and daily training reinforcement, he’s still a handful. But he’s so affectionate, funny, cuddly, handsome and kind, it’s all so worth it.
My uncle Bob Steaklum was a Red Setter breeder ,as gun dogs ,he was the best dog man I've ever seen, as kids we would cross the field over to his house, to se the new litters, his house full of trophies for dogs, and the smell of his pipe, great man,...God rest him,Co.Tipperary, Ireland 🇮🇪
