+Auggie Cunningham you could keep your speed even if have been hit by someone or do a jump but after the nerf if you jump or take a damage with baby face blaster you lose speed
Am I the only one who gets the reference with "Your Eternal Reward"? I am?! Then this won't ring a bell. Aladdin: What're you doing?! Jafar: Giving you your reward! ...Your eternal reward..! *pulls out knife*
Actually Soldier KIND OF needs the shotgun because without the shotgun, (A you can't quickly switch to another ranged weapon in case you don't have time to reload your RL and (B unless you are really, REALLY good at leading shots, you are more vulnrable to Scouts who can simply dodge projectiles with ease.
Plus, Pyros can reflect your rocket, so the only option you have is either a melle or shotgun weapon. And melle weapons are very dangerous to use against pyros. So yeah.
mel200goalll In essence. most players fire rockets as fast as they can which creates a rhythm. experienced pyros know this rhythm and reflect based on it. What ***** means is that you should pause randomly for a second between shots sometimes when fighting pyros like that. this disrupts their rhythm and you can usually sneak a rocket past them and kill them.
Vallorn Or, just aim for the ground near the fast moving targets. It's far more forgiving than if you were to aim for the bodies, and if a pyro does manage to reflect the rocket, it might go straight into the ground, exploding, causing damage.
Typical Pyro: "Oh no! I can't deal with long range people despite that being my weakness!" Valve: Well, here's airblast. It also locks players into corners and knocks them into hazards. Typical Pyro: "But but..... what about the other people who I can't throw stuff back at?" Valve: Well you're supoosed to be a short r- Typical Pyro: "WAAAAAAAH" Valve: Fine! Here's something that can catch people on fire from long range. Easily. Typical Pyro: Oh no! I can't one hit kill from any angle because the swap to the axtinguisher is too slow! Valve: Here. The degreaser. 10% less damage, but what do you care? Puff-swap-slice. The end. Typical Pyro: But spies still sap buildings after they manage to kill the engineer! Valve: well, job well done spy, that sort of ability should be rewa- Typical Pyro: WAAAAAAAAH! THEY HACKED I SHOULDA BEEN ABLE TO BURN THEM NO MATTER WHAT! I WAS INFINITELY SPAMMING NEXT TO THE DISPENSER! Valve: ugh fine! Here, weapons that autokill sappers and while we're at it, fuck it, here's some bonus building damage for them! Happy now?! Typical Pyro: Augh! Why can't I do good damage underwater?! Valve: Well... you're a fire based class. I mean.... that's counterintuitive to expect that... Typical Pyro: WAAAAAAH! Valve: TF2 hardly has any water in the base maps.... we don't really control user-made... Typical Pyro: WAAAAAH! Valve: For fuck's sake FINE! Here's a weapon that ALWAYS krits underwater. I mean.... damn! Who needs to play a team based game with a fair number of roles, right?! Typical Pyro: Hey! Backstabbing is OP valve! It's not my fault I wasn't paying attention! (Yes I know, updates don't typically happen like this, but damn it feels that way every time a pyro gets killed and feels the need to let everyone know it wasn't his fault.)
This is me when I purchased the Sticky Jumper from the Mann Co Store "So I can, like, rocket jump with stickies? Cool, but stickies cant launch me that far- HOLY CRAP I AM IN SPACE RIGHT NOW!!!!"
Well pyros if the pyro knows how to reflect rockets than shotgun there can't and nothing they can do about unless they what a secondary is and trying to hit them with a melee weapon is going get you killed so shotgun is better when solider vs pyro
9:PowerJack. Not only is it able to remove the Sappers of sentrys, Its just really friggen cool. 8:Brass Beast. Gotta love destroying everything at the cost of only speed. 7:Black Box. Overrated? Maybe. Fun? YES. 6:Huntsman. I really only play sniper with this or compound bow. 5:KritsKreig. Less for what I do, more for what my allies while im Demo can do. 4:Dead Ringer. Perfect for Sappin sentries. 3:Chargin Targe. I don't use stickys as much in multi as MVM, so it helps with pyros. 2:Pomson 6000: Destroys EVERY class, and it's one of the few guns im accurate with! 1:Soda Popper. With this and Pretty Boys Pocket Pistol I can zoom all around the map Carfefree!
Nathan Dickinson I dunno, I just feel, like, those weapons have downsides that have a big difference if you play well.....I mean, its your choice what you play with, just what i think about those weapons
I really do love using the soda popper because whenever your surrounded and alone, you can just 'jump' all over the place and it'll be so hard to kill you - it's just so fun. Try it. It doesn't make you an f2p.
Scorch Shot. It may not do crit damage... but damn is it good. Like the Detonator, it has a blast radius. Unlike the Detonator, you don't need to manually detonate the flares. Hit any surface and it will explode and light people on fire. Not only that, it can knock people around depending on how far you are. This is one of the best weapons for knocking people off points and carts all the while not putting yourself in harms way. Also it's great for lighting groups of enemies on fire and causing general panic among them. Afterburn may have quite a few ways of getting rid of it... but know only 1 source of getting rid of it is hard to find with your vision impaired and there are hardly any official maps with pools of water deep enough to extinguish yourself. Better hope you have a Medic (rare on pubs) or a Dispenser (usually only in a convenient spot for the Engy) handy.
BTW there are 8 ways to get rid of afterburn and only 1 is guaranteed to be on the map. All the rest depends on your team being teamplayers. Which, on Public Severs, it is pretty rare.
Here's my top 9 9. Ubersaw (I am a pocket medic, so this weapon is very useful. One hit gives you a fourth of your ubercharge. Very useful.) 8. Huntsman (I'm bad at Sniper, so this is my go-to primary. Even bodyshots do a good amount of damage.) 7. Cloak and Dagger (I often play on maps that don't have many ammo packs,so it's a really good watch to me.) 6. Chargin' Targe (I have a hard time surviving as a Demo, so this is definitely useful. The resistances give you that edge you always wanted when fighting a Pyro.) 5. Sandvich (Free health and he ability to heal others? Nice!) 4. Black Box (Regeneration is always a welcome thing for me. This gives you 15 health on a successful hit, and has a downside that's almost ignorable.) 3. Gunslinger (It's so much fun to use, easy to use, and goes well with the Frontier Justice) 2. Backburner (I rarely use the Airblast, so this is a huge upgrade for me.) 1. Bonk! Atomic Punch (Invincibility! Combining it with the BFB or Atomizer turns the Scout into the ultimate intelligence capturer.)
***** Even the sun-on-a-stick? And I use the NS because the two bats I use don't really work well with the strategy. I'll use the candy-cane if I get one.
For people who are coming to this video fresh to the game, there have been changes to some of these weapons in the game. Sticky Jumper -NERFED-: You can now only place two stickies for jumping. (Seriously Valve nerfed a joke weapon i don't even) Y.E.R. Set -REMOVED-: There is no longer a set bonus for the Y.E.R. Baby Face Blaster -BUFFED-: You now start with only 10% less run speed, you can jump now but air jumps remove a portion of the boost meter, you now have max damage to a Scatter gun, yet you only have 4 shots.
Sorry, I just have to... Top F2P weapons. Pyro: phlog Heavy: Brass Beast Soldier: Hard, but I see a lot of F2P with the beggars bazooka. Sniper: Machina Spy: spycicle. Demo: chargin targe. Engi: Pomson 6000 Scout: Force a nature. Some weapons are ok, like the (chargin targe), but I do see a lot of F2P's playing with thoose weapons.
Most F2P's have the direct equipt for a minute, the use something else because most of them don'tdon't look at stats (I think). Blackbox and the liberty launcher are also used a lot.
Top 9 9: Razor Back ( Backstabs won't work ) 8: Sandman ( Able to stun ) 7: Vacinator ( Able to "dodge" some projectiles ) 6: Powerjack ( Really strong, able to get rid of Sappers ) 5: Direct Hit ( Able to do 15-30% more damage ) 4: Loch n Load ( One of the strongest Grenade Launchers ) 3: Buffalo Beefsteak ( More Damage, less Health ) 2: Red Tape Recorder ( Able to lower the building's levels and or destroy it ) 1: Wrangler ( Able to take control of a MINI GUN / SENTRY )
Razorback sucks. Just saying. Whenever I go Sniper, Spies are rarely a problem. If a Spy DOES get close to you with the Razorback, the Spy just pulls out his revolver and makes quick work of you. Jarate or Darwin's Danger Shield are much better.
It's actually the Homewrecker that removes sappers. The Powerjack gives Pyro a 15% speed boost when deployed, and gives you 75 health on kill. I use to confuse the two sledgehammers as well.
Collin I agree with you which is why the Razor Back is in the last slot. I find that all Snipers are the same just standing in the same area barely helping their team. (That area being near spawn) If anything I should have changed the list in which the Hitsman Heatmaker was higher rather than the Razorback being last.
***** Well this is entirely my list. I do see the Amby as one of the most strongest guns, but thats only if you could headshot. This list was entirely made for new people and is MY personal list of weapons.
Funny how most these weapons have been nerfed to high-Hell, or the sets nerfed as well. Some of these weapons are still fun, but, the BFB is... horrible now.
I figured since it seems to be a popular thing in the comments of videos like these id give my two cents about he best weapon for each class. 1. The scout. I picked crit a cola as my favorite weapon. Although it's not really a 'weapon', per say, but more of a support item, there is something wonderful about gulping down a can of juice, then running in with a frying pan or a fish or whatever and just taking out half the other team in the most rage inducing way possible. 2. The soldier. Although I'm not a big soldier player, there's something almost zen about peacefully gliding through the air while raining bombs from hell down on your enemies. Of course, I'm talking about the base jumper. The base jumper is simply a parachute, which makes rocket jumps significantly easier, and if you pair it up with the rocket jumper and the market Gardner, you are a flying force to be reckoned with. 3. The pyro. I LOVE being a pyro. Probably because I have issues. That aside, the pyro is a almost strictly close range class, and if you ever have a large group of people, say, hiding behind a sentry, you're pretty much useless. That is where the scorch shot comes in. At long range, you get a weapon that does decent damage, sets people on fire (you're a pyro after all) and explodes. If you aim it right, you can get 2 hits off on someone, 1 from the initial hit, and another from the explosion. 4. The engineer. Picture this. You're an engie, and you've got this sentry, level 3, and it is just tearing up the other team. All of a sudden, a wayward spy comes in and saps it, and you're not able to save it in time. What do you do? Of course, you become so enraged that you begin critting people left and right with your amazing shotgun. Of course, I'm talking about the frontier justice. 5. He demonan. It's easy to be a half decent demoknight, all you kneed is a shield and your good to go. But what if you want to be an epic demoknight. Then you want to look to the tide turner. Sure, it's your standard shield, but there's something in particular that I love about it. You can turn! *sarcastic wooooaaaaaah* with the tide turner, you zoom at someone, and what do they do? They move. They take a half step to their left and you've missed your shot. But with the tide turner, you can move to catch them, and make your mama proud. 6. The heavy. While most people would say the sandvich is the best weapon, and I can't blame them, I've gotta hand it to the huo long heater. There's something epic about mowing down everyone with an insane looking dragon minigun, but the best part is the ring of flames that encircle you while shooting. And it's handy for spy protection too. 7. The medic. The medic is a class to help people. To make them better again. So what's a better thing to do than to stab people and take their blood to build up an übercharge? That's right, I picked the übersaw. While it looks very badass, it is extremely useful for building up a quick charge for that heavy next to you. 8. The sniper. The sniper is a pint and kill assassin. I like playing as the sniper, and what else would an assassin use than a bottle of his own urine? I mean, he does seem to have an excess of it. Yes, I am talking about the golden rain that is jarate. 9. The spy. The spy is a deadly class, if you know how to use it right. With well aimed backstabs, carefully placed sappers and nicely timed dissapearences, the spy is one tough to spot trickster. But for some, getting spotted is tough to avoid. Someone's seen you cloak, and now their on your tail. What do you do? Fake your own death of course! With the deadringer you can do just that, allowing you to sneak behind that person and give them the knife in the back they've been waiting for. 10. Lastly, I am putting my favorite weapon of all time. What is it you might ask? It is any renamed, kill streak, festive, strange, whatever weapon. What with tf2's overall craziness and hilarious gameplay, having a weapon like this, that shows off your true talent in the funniest way possible just brings a smile to my face every time.
9. Sun on a stick 8. Pain Train 7. Sharpened Volcano Fragment 6. Pain train (again) 5. Dalokha's bar 4. Eureka Effect 3. Cleaner's Carbine 2. Vita Saw 1. Big Earner (I hope you get that this is a joke)
I prefer the soda popper for scout because I like being able to shoot fast and get to higher places. Sure you have to reload after every 2 shots, but you only have to put in one thing for 2 shots. Plus, you build your jump boost by RUNNING, which scouts are supposed to do! However you have to be running with it in your hands to build hype, so you can't stun people with the sandman while building it, or pick off distant enemies easier with one of the pistols. So just build it when you spawn.
49mozzer Matt D is right. They figured it was too over powered and thus made you be able to jump multiple times while the boost is active, making it great parkour.
I agree the soda popper is a amazing weapons for killing any class. Like the sniper if you jump behind him in almost two shots he's dead awesome weapon.
It's one of the ways that you can spy-check as a medic, as if they're a teammate, then they get healed and no-one cares. I they're a spy, then they get hurt. (psst: use the option in advanced menu to show damage/heal points, as it tells you if you hurt them, and then you know if they're a spy)
Also with the buff banner, if you're up against a good airblasting pyro, you are screwed as the only way you can do damage to them is by using the shovel. So yeah...
I didn't like the Y.E.R originally and i always felt i sucked with Spy as a whole, but now? I kinda feel naked if i'm NOT using the Eternal Reward. That weapon is so good for teaching you when to stab and when to wait.
Dr.Heist It'd be wisest to switch to your revolver if you're getting chased by a Pyro. In fact, it'd be wisest to switch to your revolver if you're being chased by anything.
Smokey Flarey Except that it encourages bodyshotting, and that's bad if you wanna be better at the class, when it's core element is headshotting. Hitman's Heatmaker helps you with that.
Sumsore Musakheel How so? I understand the Hitman's Heatmaker part, as it has a 20% damage reduction on bodyshots, but I see no suggestion of bodyshots in the Machina's stats. It encourages staying in a hidden spot, scoping in and taking a careful shot, as it could end up killing more than one person. The Machina, based on it's stats, does not, in any way, encourage bodyshotting. In fact, it removes the noscope feature because it's not meant for close up combat. It's meant for something similar to actual sniping, rather than that CoD 360 bullshit. Sure, the tracer rounds give away your location, but I'm pretty sure that was the only way Valve could really equal out this weapon.
I don't really think the Machina is a great weapon. It's good for starters for the the huntsman is also very good. Also the Y.E.R is not as good as the dead ringer. Just my option but I agree with everything else. Thumbs Up!
You should really re-make this rabidluigi, it's been 2 years, and many weapons and changes have been implemented. I would love to see a follow up on this for the new updates.
Erm... You said no stock weapons, but the pan is literary a re-skin... Meaning it has the exact same stats as the stock weapons which basically is a stock weapon and you said no stock weapons. And this weapon isn't different then stock, so how can this be any more different or helpful in any situation then a normal stock weapon?
+rabbidluigi It wasn't funny nor realistic and the points he was making up for it made no sense "it makes noise when it hits you" How is that an advantage? "It's a frying pan." Still no valid points. And it wasn't even funny.
Since everyone else seems to be sharing this, I suppose I will do it as well. My top 9: 9: The Splendid Screen (I don't play Demoman often, but I do love going Demo Knight. Easily my favorite shield.) 8: The Kritzkrieg (I play Medic very occasionally, but when I do I love pulling this little baby out for a guaranteed crit uber that charges super fast.) 7: The Baby face's Blaster (Nothing feels better than rolling around at the speed of sound, killing people or doing a ton of damage to them before they zero in on your position.) 6: The Frontier Justice (Getting your Sentry destroyed is frustrating, especially when it was doing well. So, this thing lets you channel Asura's fury and exact your wrath on whoever pissed you off.) 5: The Direct Hit (What can I say, high damage, super fast rockets are insanely enjoyable to use.) 4: The Sandvich (I live to fight another... thirty seconds... either way, you can do a lot in that time.) 3: The Hitman's Heatmaker (I seriously can't go back to using the Stock Rifle anymore because of this thing. It's quiet, which helps me concentrate, charges fast, which is a huge bonus, and going into Focus Mode is one of the most satisfying things I have ever experienced.) 2: The Degreaser (I love playing Puff and Sting Pyro. It makes me feel godly to see my enemies helplessly fly into the air before receiving a lethal punch to the face with a Flare or a melee weapon. And this is the weapon that makes it all possible, due to the faster weapon switching.) 1: Your Eternal Reward (This knife... was made for me. It removes all of the pesky "Who do I disguise as" about Spy, and it makes you have to be sneaky and plan your battles. It is thrilling to single out a target, go after them, and finally get your first disguise. You are then free to do whatever the fuck you want, messing with the enemy team's mind while being sure to keep your disguise.... I need to stop, I could go on all day.)
Favorite weapons: 9. Beggar's Bazooka: I know, you might say it's a noob weapon, but it's really useful for killing heavies and it is very easy to kill people in the vents on turbine. Besides, mine is strange. So I try to level it up. 8. Ambassador: I use this weapon so much. It is great for getting head shots on engineers and other classes to pick off. 7. Jarate: I like this weapon because of how diverse and how many uses it has. Finding cloaked spies, extinguishing you and teammates, causing mini-critz. There are so many uses that are all useful. 6. Sandvich: You basically have a personal pocket medic, and if you have a medic already, healing the medic can mean longer survivability. 5. Mad Milk: Becoming a vampiric scout is amazing for slowly killing enemies while still gaining health. Great for surviving against pyros too. 4. Blutsauger: just like Arrayseven, blutsauger is a favorite syringe gun. If being chased by an enemy or on fire, gaining health by hitting people is so helpful. Great if there are no other medics on the team. 3. Loch n' load: So overpowered, and so broken if you have good aim. Killing overhealed heavies with only 3 grenades is just so easy. 2. Rescue Ranger: Is really helpful if you play competitively. Combine this with the wrangler and you can be a pro engineer. Healing and teleporting your sentry from a large distance away is both useful and fun. 1. Degreaser: Again, people might say this is a noob weapon, but that's because noobs use it as a W+M1 weapon. I use this as a combo weapon. There are so many options you can pair up with the degreaser. Flare gun, shotgun, power jack, axtinguisher, home wrecker, HOLY SHIT! So many options as great combos. The damage penalty honestly isn't a problem if you use it as a combo weapon
My Top 9 Weapons In No Particular Order: Baby Face's Blaster: Extremely speedy movement for a small cost. Easy for hit-and-runs. (Also, you *can* jump, just not double jump) Black Box: The regen effect is great for crowds of enemies especially on Payload maps. Perfect with Gunboats. Only problem is with smaller clip size. Flare Gun: Great combo with a flame thrower especially The Degreaser. Quickiebomb Launcher: One of the best close-range Demo weapons to me. Good in situations where you need to react quickly. Sandvich: Heals you and the people around you. Cool cool. Gunslinger: Mini-Sentry for quick building and 1/3 chance of crits close-range. Quick-Fix: Takes care of problems with rocket/sticky jumps, slow healing and speed disadvantages. Bazaar Bargain: Like the stock sniper except wit enough kills, it charges twice as fast. YER: Automatically disguises you.
The BFB has been upgraded where you are only 10 COUNT'EM 10% slower at the start and you can jump but not double-jump or else the bar loses about 1/4 which is like nothing
Favorite Weapons for each class (in random order) 9-Powerjack, gives you a lot of mobility, and can help you catch up with disguised shpees. 8-Übersaw, I play pocket medic a lot, so if i get the chance, I just swing a few times and grt full uber. 7-Wrangler, SOOOOOO damn useful. especially if your target is out of range. 6-Cloak and dagger, i can just camp and troll the enemy teams by calling them a spy and watch them try and find me. 5-Black Box, love how you get free health on hit. 4-Loch N Load, a bit hard to hit them right on, but still does the job. 3-Baby-face's Blaster, I wish you could jump without loosing boost, but makes you run like the wind 2-Brass beast, with the Gloves of running Urgently you are set, because you dont move AS slow, plus you get 20% extra damage 1-Machina, only because I can't aim for shit. That makes me TERRIBLE with the Hitman's heatmaker.
The Gunslinger. Turns the engineer into an offensive class and the sentry is small and can be easily hidden. It is also great at distracting enemies while you or your team mows them down.
This is the countdown that got me really interested in TF2. Granted I did start about a month before this video was released, but this really got me into it.
I don't play other classes as much but here is my favorite scout items. 9. Fan O War ( crit ) 8. Sandman (Stunning Enemy's nuff said.) 7. Flying Guillotine ( Able to do sandman combos almost instantly killing enemys.) 6. Mad Milk ( Can serious help your teams a lot and can find spys and extinguish your self and teammates.) 5. Force A Nature ( Can be annoying but that's the point of scout c;.) 4. Soda Popper ( 5 Jumps but limited unlike atomizer can help with dodging explosion.) 3. Atomizer ( Can really help from Pyros, Soliders, and Demoman.) 2. Holy Mackerel ( Its a fish.) 1. Stock ( The Items that don't have downsides and is practically the best but not the most interesting.) Honorable Mentions Baby Face's Blaster ( Speed) Shortstop (Healing) Bonk Atomic Punch (Helps you in escape) Pan ( Its fun)
9.Huntsman:Great Aiming(Not suggested for new players) 8.Tomislav:If you want your heavy to be fast then this weapon is great for you 7.Quick Fix:Now your medic heals your teammates much quicker 6.Displiminary Action:Help your team and make them move faster 5.Chargin Targe:Fast Resistance!! 4.Sandman:Who doesnt like throwing a baseball bat at a guy and hear them scream confused stunned. 3.Ambassador:Can remove almost all your enemy's health if you headshot him 2.Flare Gun:Very usefull when using degreaser 1.Rescue Ranger:Who needs to spend metal while you can shot with this at your sentry to heal
The shotgun is actually incredibly viable for Solly. You are often either have an empty clip in your launcher, or the enemy is too close, so you pull out your trusty shotgun and finish them off.
Great now I feel like the only person who's fav class is heavy. Thank FM and RL. You made me feel lonely. The reason I love heavy is mostly the miniguns ( they provide a lot of possibilities for the cost of shoot speed) his schnacks ( hey the big guy's Russian) his boxing gloves the heavy medic combo and just him in general. He's so funny.
+Diogenes Baez Lugo heavy is a very, VERY, fun class for me because I HAZ ZA SENDVEJ I CANZ HEALZ MYSELVS NOW YAYYY! and also minigunnin the fuckers down, hell yeah!
I'll say my favorite weapon for each class: 9. Sandvich - Most Heavy unlocks are trash. But the sandvich is pretty decent. You can be like a Mini Medic. 8. Scottish Resistance - Yes, I'm serious. I like the Scottish Resistance, being able to set multiple sticky traps, and detonating only the ones you're aiming at. You can even remove stickies with it. 7. Degreaser - Switch weapons fast. Use it with the Flare Gun or Reserve Shooter. 6. Rocket Launcher - It's all around a great power weapon, plus rocket jumping. (I almost never use any Soldier unlocks, so.) 5. Dead Ringer - To fake your death. With a proper loadout and a good strategy, almost all your counters will be nothing. 4. Baby Face's Blaster - Gain more speed on hit to be a lot more mobile, and easier to capture the intel and MVM money too. 3. Frontier Justice - To defend yourself in case your sentry goes down. 2. Huntsman - I prefer to get up there as a Sniper, and this does a decent amount of damage. It's still satisfying when you get headshots. 1. Medigun - Used by the most useful class in TF2, the Medic. You keep the team alive, and an ubercharge can turn the tide of battle.
May favorite load out is Mailman Degreaser, any Secondary (preferably the Flare gun, or the Arial shotgun thing that crits airborne enemies) and the Mail Box
I have the Sandvich, but I use the shotgun anyway because it's fun to see the gargantuan Heavy holding it like a toy pistol. Especially when playing with friends, I sometimes forgo my Brass Beast and just chase people around with what looks like the smallest shotgun ever.
My favorite weapon is the Half Zatoichi, and it's for Demo, which is my favorite class. It wrecks absolute havoc with the splendid screen. Charge at a guy, deal about 70 damage, get him with a crit (and good timing) and get full health. Also, the Zatoichi CAN deal random crits. You can just rampage through a payload cart surrounded by enemies and get health everything kill. Pretty badass and gives a lot of second chances.
I prefer the Soda Popper for the Scout because you only need to charge by moving around. Once it's charged, you can jump more than twice, making the Scout very mobile, especially in the air.
Fun fact: Your Eternal Reward is actually based on the Disney villain Jafar from "Aladdin." While in disguise, Jafar tricks Aladdin into going into the Cave of Wonders to fetch the lamp in exchange for a reward, since only a "diamond in the rough" (in this case, Aladdin) can even enter the cave. When Aladdin just barely manages to get the lamp to Jafar, he pulls out a knife in order to give Aladdin the reward he promised, or rather his eternal reward. (in other words, he tries to kill Aladdin) After hearing RabbidLuigi's explanation about the weapon, I can clearly see how much it embraces perhaps one of Disney's greatest and most memorable villains. Well done Valve, well done. :)
I just realized that, ever since he has released to nine team fortress mods, the uber upgrades mod could be used for a head shooting crusaders crossbow.
9: Sydney sleeper (I suck as sniper so you should know why it is one of my favorite) 8: degreaser, perfect to airblast and use another weapon 7: widowmaker, The same reason that rabbidluigi said 6: diamondback, useful if you're good destroying buildings and backstabing 5: soda popper, very very useful for jump. 4: sandvich, the healer Heavy (?) 3:crusader's crossbow, if you're in danger you can keep healing your teamates from a safe distance 2: escape plan, perfect if you combine it with the buff banner 1: scottish resistance, when you have to defend no matter what.
It's a good thing they buffed the baby face blaster, they put the damage up clip down and a fourth of the jump is reduced instead if the entire thing, thank the heavens
Wait... If I kill someone with a critical hit using the Frying Pan... can I say they were critically panned?
+TheGrayMysterious I don't care how terrible that pun is - you should be proud.
nice one
+TheGrayMysterious Yes, because otherwise you would say deadpanned.
Dejan Games HAHAAAAAAAA
TheGrayMysterious this comment caused:
PANdemonium
And then there are these guys who get upset when you bodyshoot them with the machina. And they are like "NOOB BODYSHOT WITH MACHINA!!!11

Yeah you are right mate, it only bothers me when someone gets overly upset with that.

Rip Baby Faces Blaster ;-;
WE SHALL MISS YOU
I had a professional kill streak strange baby faces
How was it nerfed?
+Auggie Cunningham you could keep your speed even if have been hit by someone or do a jump but after the nerf if you jump or take a damage with baby face blaster you lose speed
I come from the future ... The BFB is a good weapon now
Bailey Evans but now the soda popper sucks
"Of all the games I've played recently, there hasn't been one that's sucked more..."
HHHHHHHHH
"...time out of my life than Team Fortress 2."
Oh. Ok.
LOL. :}
I laughed way to hard at this...
Am I the only one who gets the reference with "Your Eternal Reward"? I am?! Then this won't ring a bell.
Aladdin: What're you doing?!
Jafar: Giving you your reward! ...Your eternal reward..! *pulls out knife*
Holy sh*t... How did no one notice that?
Rykki TB I have no idea, my friend.
I Should Of Expected That..Gabe Newell You Tricky Devil
so that's why the set is called the saharan spy
Makes sense. The set of the YER is "The Saharan Spy" and the YER reference is from Aladdin, which took place in a Saharan Village
1:50 To quote Rabbid "I can't find any faults with a guy who goes into battle with a freaking frying pan."
Saharan Spy Set:NERFED
TF2 Spies: NO! NO!
TF2 Engies and Snipers: Yay!
So yeah.
that made no sense to me because i am a tf2 noob
mel200goalll In essence. most players fire rockets as fast as they can which creates a rhythm. experienced pyros know this rhythm and reflect based on it.
I once saw a guy who headshot FOUR HEAVYS AT ONCE!!!!! Everyone was like holy shit he's op. But he has a gibus. So the praise ended quickly
yep
lucky bastard
yeah, the guys that got pierced shot all disconnected after that because of the pierce shot sound that plays, humiliating them
lightningkatana10 The luck is strong with this individual.
it was lucky, because they were all moving
Typical Pyro: "Oh no! I can't deal with long range people despite that being my weakness!"
Valve: Well, here's airblast. It also locks players into corners and knocks them into hazards.
Typical Pyro: "But but..... what about the other people who I can't throw stuff back at?"
Valve: Well you're supoosed to be a short r-
Typical Pyro: "WAAAAAAAH"
Valve: Fine!
Valve: well, job well done spy, that sort of ability should be rewa-
Typical Pyro: WAAAAAAAAH!
This is me when I purchased the Sticky Jumper from the Mann Co Store
"So I can, like, rocket jump with stickies? Cool, but stickies cant launch me that far- HOLY CRAP I AM IN SPACE RIGHT NOW!!!!"
I think the widow maker was a valuable choice as the crusaders crossbow
I like da Diamond back, dem crits
Ambassador is bedder
Im not good at getting the headshots, but those two are good guns too
Halohuntert Kilathas i prefer letrange
masterbrawler64 Letrange is pretty good too
its 20% I think
They nerfed the sticky jumper. You can only place 2 sticky bombs
No, really?
OMG!badgehz yes
i was being sarcastic
but thanks anyway
RELEASE-DATE
Shotgun on solider is extremely important in higher level play. Once you run out of rockets you switch and shoot
Yeah the shotgun is the best secondary for solly.
i still prefer the reverse shooter which is a perfect weapon for me because i usually rocket jump and shoot at the same time
Well pyros if the pyro knows how to reflect rockets than shotgun there can't and nothing they can do about unless they what a secondary is and trying to hit them with a melee weapon is going get you killed so shotgun is better when solider vs pyro
ethan hobson i still use the flare gun crits on fire man and i just keep spamming them
9:PowerJack.
With this and Pretty Boys Pocket Pistol I can zoom all around the map Carfefree!
almost everything in that is used by f2ps
fireball221000 Aaaaaaaaaaannnnnd... The point?
Nathan Dickinson I dunno, I just feel, like, those weapons have downsides that have a big difference if you play well.....I mean, its your choice what you play with, just what i think about those weapons
I really do love using the soda popper because whenever your surrounded and alone, you can just 'jump' all over the place and it'll be so hard to kill you - it's just so fun. Try it. It doesn't make you an f2p.
Dude the powerjack doesn't remove sappers are you thinking of the home wrecker
@@Techhunter_Talon Gun Mettle made the weapon even better :3
Here's my top 9
9. Ubersaw (I am a pocket medic, so this weapon is very useful. One hit gives you a fourth of your ubercharge. Very useful.)
8. Huntsman (I'm bad at Sniper, so this is my go-to primary. Even bodyshots do a good amount of damage.)
7. Cloak and Dagger (I often play on maps that don't have many ammo packs,so it's a really good watch to me.)
6. Chargin' Targe (I have a hard time surviving as a Demo, so this is definitely useful. The resistances give you that edge you always wanted when fighting a Pyro.)
5. Sandvich (Free health and he ability to heal others? Nice!)
4. Black Box (Regeneration is always a welcome thing for me. This gives you 15 health on a successful hit, and has a downside that's almost ignorable.)
3. Gunslinger (It's so much fun to use, easy to use, and goes well with the Frontier Justice)
2. Backburner (I rarely use the Airblast, so this is a huge upgrade for me.)
1. Bonk! Atomic Punch (Invincibility! Combining it with the BFB or Atomizer turns the Scout into the ultimate intelligence capturer.)
Bonk Boy I always liked the Phlog and Reserve Shooter together for stupidest weapon combo in TF2.
Bonk Boy Yeah, I just realized how stupid it was to mix the BFB with the Atomizer. I use the necro smasher now.
***** Really? No context, no reason, just calling me an "Idiotic noob"? I can smell the irony.
***** Even the sun-on-a-stick?
And I use the NS because the two bats I use don't really work well with the strategy. I'll use the candy-cane if I get one.
How the fuck can you put gunboats on this list if you HAVENT EVEN FUCKING USED IT? THE FUCK KIND OF LOGIC IS THAT???
Harvest+Sticky Jumper+Caber=Best Time in TF2.
yup
For people who are coming to this video fresh to the game, there have been changes to some of these weapons in the game.
Sticky Jumper -NERFED-: You can now only place two stickies for jumping. (Seriously Valve nerfed a joke weapon i don't even)
Y.E.R. Set -REMOVED-: There is no longer a set bonus for the Y.E.R.
Baby Face Blaster -BUFFED-: You now start with only 10% less run speed, you can jump now but air jumps remove a portion of the boost meter, you now have max damage to a Scatter gun, yet you only have 4 shots.
this video brings me back so much nostalgia, when i used to play TF2.
Sorry, I just have to...
Top F2P weapons.
Pyro: phlog
Heavy: Brass Beast
Soldier: Hard, but I see a lot of F2P with the beggars bazooka.
Sniper: Machina
Spy: spycicle.
Demo: chargin targe.
Engi: Pomson 6000
Scout: Force a nature.
Some weapons are ok, like the (chargin targe), but I do see a lot of F2P's playing with thoose weapons.
What about direct hit and blackbox?
Most F2P's have the direct equipt for a minute, the use something else because most of them don'tdon't look at stats (I think).
Blackbox and the liberty launcher are also used a lot.
And do not forget the gunslinger and frontier justice.
How coud I forget thoose O.o
Spycicle is awful
_Does anyone still remember when Top 10 TF2 Worst/Best Weapons lists were actually good?_
Top 9
9: Razor Back ( Backstabs won't work )
8: Sandman ( Able to stun )
7: Vacinator ( Able to "dodge" some projectiles )
6: Powerjack ( Really strong, able to get rid of Sappers )
5: Direct Hit ( Able to do 15-30% more damage )
4: Loch n Load ( One of the strongest Grenade Launchers )
3: Buffalo Beefsteak ( More Damage, less Health )
2: Red Tape Recorder ( Able to lower the building's levels and or destroy it )
1: Wrangler ( Able to take control of a MINI GUN / SENTRY )
***** That was a mistake
Funny how most these weapons have been nerfed to high-Hell, or the sets nerfed as well. Some of these weapons are still fun, but, the BFB is... horrible now.
Yeeeep
It says 'SpY' in the url. I thought that was funny
Statusinator
EVERYTHING is a Spy!
THE URL IS A SPY!!
That spys sapping my url!
i just heard the engi say that in my head XD
spys sapping my video
Market Gardener + Rocket Jumper + Mantreads = Trolldier. Play it on hightower.
Frying pan only 10?! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━━┻ WTF?! *head explodes*
I know right?! the frying pan is so OVERPOWERED, of course the ham shank is more powerful. BUT STILL!
Maybe he put it at 10 because it can be used by multiple classes?
It's only a retexture of all the classes default melee weapons....
Zan ZI Somebody here doesnt get the joke....
the baby face got an epic buff. not as slow when spawning and only a little bit of boost lost on double jump. it's the fucking tool of a god.
so single jumping does nothing
i think it's always done that, but yes single jump does nothing,
This will be great when i get a gaming computer
9. Sun on a stick
8. Pain Train
7. Sharpened Volcano Fragment
6. Pain train (again)
5. Dalokha's bar
4. Eureka Effect
3. Cleaner's Carbine
2. Vita Saw
1. Big Earner
(I hope you get that this is a joke)
I think the Eureka effect is good.
Not so much for the rest, though.
HOW DO YOU KNOW MY LOADOUTS???
The pain train is so "good" it got on the list twice lol
Thepenguinking2 Its the worst weapon for the engi I could think of
Am I the only one that finds the Cleaner's Carbine effective.
In Soviet Russia, you heal the healer.
Lol
Communism works in theory, but I don't usually get any lunchboxes from heavies.
Medic is my most played class, and wildly supporting a strong team of fighters is one of the most satisfying things I can do.
So just build it when you spawn.
this was created ages ago so the soda popper would've done crits instead of the jump boost
I woudn't know because I started this game this year. :P
it gives you mini-crits when fully charged not a jump boost
or atleast mine does
49mozzer Matt D is right. They figured it was too over powered and thus made you be able to jump multiple times while the boost is active, making it great parkour.
I agree the soda popper is a amazing weapons for killing any class. Like the sniper if you jump behind him in almost two shots he's dead awesome weapon.
make a top 9 tf2 classes
Top 10: The best class is good 'ol Mr.Random
***** Correct, but you can't hit Comma and then a number, then press z and 2 to say THANK NOM.
The Buff Banner is also pretty good in MvM, because you are doing so much damage to the bots, you fill that rage meter really quick
5:35 is that golden frying pan ?
I'm pretty sure it's the normal frying pan, but the the recording is bright, so it looks gold-ish.
golden frying pans do exist
Are you that dumb? I said this video came out BEFORE they existed.
SirBlackMage It was actually a custom skin, back before the Golden Pan was first introduced into the game.
Holy shit, you actually replied. HAI RABBID
Now I regret deleting my Crusader's Crossbow
It was nerfed so...
Greentoad64
at least they recently buffed the baby faces blaster. what was a great weapon became like... a x2 great weapon?
GCDarkGGG I wish they kept the accuracy bonus
0:51 hold my root beer * shows rabbid Luigi the random crit mechanic * and there you go.
Just wondering if you shoot at a disguised spy and your a medic shooting at him with the crusaders crossbow would it heal him or hurt him.....
I've never thought of that before.
I believe it hurts them. I'm pretty sure i shot one before
it hurts them
wow never thought of that XD
It's one of the ways that you can spy-check as a medic, as if they're a teammate, then they get healed and no-one cares. I they're a spy, then they get hurt.
(psst: use the option in advanced menu to show damage/heal points, as it tells you if you hurt them, and then you know if they're a spy)
Top Nine TF2 Kill Taunts...
I really like Sniper's "Sorry Nurse, I mistook you for an actual threat!"
Also with the buff banner, if you're up against a good airblasting pyro, you are screwed as the only way you can do damage to them is by using the shovel. So yeah...
Baby face blaster now is #1
update: have you seen the BFB now rabbid? it got the FUCK updated out of it.
shotgun on soldier is massively important for some game types and for competitive play. And its pretty OP to be honest.
Also, RIP class set bonuses...
I didn't like the Y.E.R originally and i always felt i sucked with Spy as a whole, but now? I kinda feel naked if i'm NOT using the Eternal Reward. That weapon is so good for teaching you when to stab and when to wait.
On comp it's useless tho
i think the spy-cicle is the enhance version of the Y.E.R ad also it is my fav spy weapon
Then you can't trickstab pyro's man.
Dr.Heist but you don't get after burn on the first hit of the flamethrower
Dr.Heist It'd be wisest to switch to your revolver if you're getting chased by a Pyro. In fact, it'd be wisest to switch to your revolver if you're being chased by anything.
They nerfed the sticky jumper to 2 sticky tell evry1
i lost my shit when i could only fire 2 stickies wida sticky jumper
I found my first sticky jumper like 2 weeks after it was nerfed :(
The rocket jumper is better now in my opinion.
Last time you could go like 10 time faster than scouts using the baby faces blaster
new top demoman weapon! (insert most demoknight weapons here)!
I love it when you played that Meet The Spy song while talking about the Y.E.R :)
Why the MACHINA? The Hitman's Heatmaker is better in my opinion
Because it encourages Snipers to scope in.
If u don't like to scope, use a bow...
Huw Brockway because he prefers the machina
Thumbs Up!
I prefer the Bazaar Bargain as it entices you to land headshots as hard as you can, thus it's a good training weapon.
NeoDragonCount i like the hitmans heatmaker better since it dosent directly penalise you for not getting headshots in a row
Macho Pony Yea that's a nice weapon too.
But we are taking about noobs/starters so that is not gonna be a great wep where as the Machina is made for bodys shots
True , but I doubt anyone that just starts tf2 is gonna be MLG pro headsots , no scope and stuff like that.
Rabid when I'm sad I watch your vids thank you for the smiles
Who is waatching this in 2016?
Well i am watching this in 2005 so no?
I'm watching this in the year 46.
+Glowflow me
Yeah 2016...7867372
Yeah 2016...7867372
Shotgun is best wep
nope.avi Austrailians Are The Best
he did say no stock weapons
just making a statement that shotgun is best wep
***** also, he said that the shotgun is a damn sight worse than buff banner. so yeah.
lies.
Dennis Li Yes, because he is the all-knowing genius of TF2.
+John Getachew It was also a joke.
+rabbidluigi It wasn't funny nor realistic and the points he was making up for it made no sense "it makes noise when it hits you" How is that an advantage? "It's a frying pan." Still no valid points. And it wasn't even funny.
John, stop being such a little bitch
+John Getachew you're a sad excuse for a tf2 nerd
+John Getachew go back to COD you noob
the intro song "his world" it is a great song but sonic 06 is not that good
CONGLATURATIONS! YOU'VE WON:
UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE DECADE!!!
Roberto del Fuego More like understatement of the millennium
Understatement of all time ever in the history of exsistence itself
Roberto del Fuego thank you
darude-sandstorm
Since everyone else seems to be sharing this, I suppose I will do it as well.
My top 9:
9: The Splendid Screen (I don't play Demoman often, but I do love going Demo Knight. Easily my favorite shield.)
8: The Kritzkrieg (I play Medic very occasionally, but when I do I love pulling this little baby out for a guaranteed crit uber that charges super fast.)
7: The Baby face's Blaster (Nothing feels better than rolling around at the speed of sound, killing people or doing a ton of damage to them before they zero in on your position.)
6: The Frontier Justice (Getting your Sentry destroyed is frustrating, especially when it was doing well. So, this thing lets you channel Asura's fury and exact your wrath on whoever pissed you off.)
5: The Direct Hit (What can I say, high damage, super fast rockets are insanely enjoyable to use.)
4: The Sandvich (I live to fight another... thirty seconds... either way, you can do a lot in that time.)
3: The Hitman's Heatmaker (I seriously can't go back to using the Stock Rifle anymore because of this thing. It's quiet, which helps me concentrate, charges fast, which is a huge bonus, and going into Focus Mode is one of the most satisfying things I have ever experienced.)
2: The Degreaser (I love playing Puff and Sting Pyro. It makes me feel godly to see my enemies helplessly fly into the air before receiving a lethal punch to the face with a Flare or a melee weapon. And this is the weapon that makes it all possible, due to the faster weapon switching.)
1: Your Eternal Reward (This knife... was made for me.
I came from call of duty to tf2 a couple years ago but I love tf2 way better
He'll yeah cod sucks my asss
You just insulted me and all the other engi mains
nice pic
I miss this intro so much nostalgia
shotguns for the soldier are actually pretty important in competitive and 1v1 play, where reloading midfight often means death.
8:33 hahahahah!!! The 11th doctor from Dr. who is just so perfect for that.
Favorite weapons:
My Top 9 Weapons In No Particular Order:
Baby Face's Blaster: Extremely speedy movement for a small cost. Easy for hit-and-runs. (Also, you *can* jump, just not double jump)
Black Box: The regen effect is great for crowds of enemies especially on Payload maps.
His intro song "his world" makes me think about this... No matter the sonic game is good or bad...you KNOW that the song will be epic
Favorite Weapons for each class (in random order)
9-Powerjack, gives you a lot of mobility, and can help you catch up with disguised shpees.
3-Baby-face's Blaster, I wish you could jump without loosing boost, but makes you run like the wind
2-Brass beast, with the Gloves of running Urgently you are set, because you dont move AS slow, plus you get 20% extra damage
1-Machina, only because I can't aim for shit. That makes me TERRIBLE with the Hitman's heatmaker.
I still don't understand why they nurfed the sticky jumper to only shoot 2 stickys. It was so much fun flying across the map.
The Gunslinger.
Turns the engineer into an offensive class and the sentry is small and can be easily hidden. It is also great at distracting enemies while you or your team mows them down.
I like the Blutsuager for the medic. The weapon helps me fight other classes much better when the person I'm healing dies or there's no one to heal.
I've lost track of the amount of times I tried to heal with the crossbow and ended up with a dead spy
10:33 "if you are not good at getting headshots like clockwork" xD
This is the countdown that got me really interested in TF2. Granted I did start about a month before this video was released, but this really got me into it.
"...like Clockw0rrk"
That one line made me the happiest person in the world.
I don't play other classes as much but here is my favorite scout items.
9. Fan O War ( crit )
8. Sandman (Stunning Enemy's nuff said.)
7. Flying Guillotine ( Able to do sandman combos almost instantly killing enemys.)
6. Mad Milk ( Can serious help your teams a lot and can find spys and extinguish your self and teammates.)
5. Force A Nature ( Can be annoying but that's the point of scout c;.)
4. Soda Popper ( 5 Jumps but limited unlike atomizer can help with dodging explosion.)
3. Atomizer ( Can really help from Pyros, Soliders, and Demoman.)
2. Holy Mackerel ( Its a fish.)
1. Stock ( The Items that don't have downsides and is practically the best but not the most interesting.)
Honorable Mentions
Baby Face's Blaster ( Speed)
Shortstop (Healing)
Bonk Atomic Punch (Helps you in escape)
Pan ( Its fun)
This definitely would come in handy when setting up my Loadout.
9.Huntsman:Great Aiming(Not suggested for new players)
8.Tomislav:If you want your heavy to be fast then this weapon is great for you
7.Quick Fix:Now your medic heals your teammates much quicker
6.Displiminary Action:Help your team and make them move faster
5.Chargin Targe:Fast Resistance!!
4.Sandman:Who doesnt like throwing a baseball bat at a guy and hear them scream confused stunned.
3.Ambassador:Can remove almost all your enemy's health if you headshot him
2.Flare Gun:Very usefull when using degreaser
1.Rescue Ranger:Who needs to spend metal while you can shot with this at your sentry to heal
The shotgun is actually incredibly viable for Solly. You are often either have an empty clip in your launcher, or the enemy is too close, so you pull out your trusty shotgun and finish them off.
I miss Valve caring about TF2.
Hey, my fav class is hoovy as well! Slap my hand
Jack*slaps hand* welcome to my brother hood hoovy lover
Diogenes Baez Lugo oi, since when was there a brotherhood? i always wanted to join one lol
Jack welcome heavy lover bro
+Diogenes Baez Lugo heavy is a very, VERY, fun class for me because I HAZ ZA SENDVEJ I CANZ HEALZ MYSELVS NOW YAYYY! and also minigunnin the fuckers down, hell yeah!
I'll say my favorite weapon for each class:
(I almost never use any Soldier unlocks, so.)
Yoyo `I agree, the Scottish Resistence is very good for how underused it is, and they nerfed the BFB :(
Dead ringer is dead now.
Ender Killer nah it's just harder to do, I do want it to have a little boost
PUFFnBUFF I disagree, there are most useful classes, there are no BEST classes
+Yoyo Personally, I don't know why people like the Dead Ringer.
It's probably because I'm bad at Spy and use the Cloak n' Do Nothing.
Another plus to the crusader's crossbow is that the festive version shoots candy canes.
I totally agree with you about the flare gun. It is one of the best weapons in the game in my opinion.
With the medi-guns you don't have to worry about aiming but the crusaders crossbow you have to worry about aiming
Huntsman... 'nough said
May favorite load out is Mailman
Degreaser,
any Secondary (preferably the Flare gun, or the Arial shotgun thing that crits airborne enemies)
and the Mail Box
R.I.P. Sticky Jumper, because of the nerf on it, you are no longer able to fly behind everyone in nine quick clicks.
"The Vanilla Demo is strictly explosive!"
Uh, Hello! Melee Weapon! Bottle! Not Explosive!
I prefer the Soda Popper for the Scout because you only need to charge by moving around. Once it's charged, you can jump more than twice, making the Scout very mobile, especially in the air.
I love hiding somewhere up high with my flare gun and becoming Snipyro, raining firey death from above!
(in other words, he tries to kill Aladdin)
After hearing RabbidLuigi's explanation about the weapon, I can clearly see how much it embraces perhaps one of Disney's greatest and most memorable villains. Well done Valve, well done. :)
I just realized that, ever since he has released to nine team fortress mods, the uber upgrades mod could be used for a head shooting crusaders crossbow.
One more thing that is an upside to the crusader's cross bow. YOU CAN'T HEAL SPYS WITH IT, YOU DO DAMAGE, EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE DISGUISED.
The sandvich and daloks bar are basically the same, only the daloks bar does it slower, and the sandvich just heals a fair amount of health
With the guillotine u get crits when they are stunned and is good for spy checking because if you stun a team mate there is a spy
3:00 Detonator?
anyone?
Everything the flare gun can do and somewhat rocket jump?
no?
ok :(
9: Sydney sleeper (I suck as sniper so you should know why it is one of my favorite)
8: degreaser, perfect to airblast and use another weapon
7: widowmaker, The same reason that rabbidluigi said
6: diamondback, useful if you're good destroying buildings and backstabing
5: soda popper, very very useful for jump.
4: sandvich, the healer Heavy (?)
3:crusader's crossbow, if you're in danger you can keep healing your teamates from a safe distance
2: escape plan, perfect if you combine it with the buff banner
1: scottish resistance, when you have to defend no matter what.
It's a good thing they buffed the baby face blaster, they put the damage up clip down and a fourth of the jump is reduced instead if the entire thing, thank the heavens
