Great to see your Case digger doing a little. Great to see your drains from your sheds having a fall away so it doesn't block up. Great video Dan
Service the poor machine!! Just because it’s old and rusty doesn’t necessarily mean it’s exempt from being showed some love. Lubricants go a long way. There is a sight glass and filters for a reason! Old iron is the best iron. Keep it alive. Don’t matter if you put 1 hour a year on it, take care of it!
Poor old girl needs a service at the very least. Handy bit of kit to have👍
Good vid dan I was lucky enough to get to operate a similar digger on scrap yard...it had a grab fitted instead of bucket to lift wiring cable into a chopper machine..it didn’t have tracks but road wheels..
Thank you Dan. Good to see the flow improve.🚜🐂🐄😷👍
Great video dan she definitely needs a service n some perspex windows fitted in the cab.
I was one of those asking to see the old girl working she definitely needs some oil in her but good to see her being put to good use got to keep those ditches clean 👍
She’s a rare old beast! But in better condition than I first though... not sure about the a/c though 🤪🤣. I look forward to seeing her in the future
Could be wrong but I think I remember seeing them in the late 80's?🤔 Lord Muck would probably know about them.👍
Hi Dan, good to have a digger, even if it´s old. Old but paid. Farm on, Andreas
Ditching is quite a hard thing to do properly, ditch should be v shaped with a flat bottom, you should be able to do a beautiful job with that machine, I'm not taking one at you I'm just saying, I've had farmers go mad at me for digging u shaped ditches even though it's much quicker
Nice to see the old girl workin 👍 reckon be quite easy to throw a track if u weren't careful though 🤔 good video 👍
good old digger, she would work a lot smoother with more engine speed almost full throttle.
The old "Glyn Stephens" signwriting on the rear is from a south wales company.
Brilliant video Dan! Thank you
Great video as always it’s good to see back making videos dan
Good video Dan handy machine to have on the farm
Digger from the mid 80's,?, a chap came to do some work groundwork for us late 1980's had one and it didn't strike me as a new machine then but not old either (if you know what I mean ;-) ) . Hope that your Father is on the mend.
Great to have around the farm 👍
Go case does good work Rich Little weather unlock. In Utah
I learnt to drive a Proclain back in 1981 at the age of 13! Was about as responsive as yours... 😆
Thanks for the video, she's not bad looking for it's age and the fact it sits out. I'd be thinking it's cheaper to check the oil and add some if needed, than be replacing a hydraulic pump or drive motors, the poor old girls definitely trying to tell you something. It might even be worth checking for a suction filter thats plugged to while you're at it, and replace the main filters . When I needed a machine for the farm the cost of a cheap track machine and what needed fixing was why I choose a JCB 3D3 backhoe loader, plus I didn't have to use a low loader if I wanted to go somewhere else with it 10 miles away. Both type machines have there places, the track hoes was just some place other than in my yard though L.O.L .Take care
Good evening another great interesting video
Definitely sounds like could do with some oil in
an indespensible piece of equipment for any farm
Great machine
Recon she needs a new hydraulic filter Dan
Good vid Dan. Are you gonna replace the tracks on her? Still in decent nick for her age
Love that digger quality stuff
thats not a bad machine and is worth spending a few quid on it ..................would not mind having one myself but never had the guts to buy one in case it turned out to be a complete money pit ...............
Sounds like the hydraulic filer wants changing
That is an old one, but it gets the job done.
Nice one Dan
shes a winer but gets the job done nice work
Do you use CIDRS on cows or heifers if so could you do a video of that or even just in breeding, im sure ur ready to start ai ing again😆
👍
Very capable machine you wouldn't want to be spending 8 hrs a day in her but she gets the job done. A little service up in some downtime and you are good to go.
Just goes to show doesnt need to be new to do a good days work
