What's funny is that Xiaomi think they're being sneaky by updating the MIUI version but not the Android version by giving it Android 12 rather than Android 13.
They always do that. The real change to the OS is in MIUI generations. MIUI 14 on Android 13 (coming later) will feel the same as MIUI 14 on Android 12. They're not being sneaky, it's been their method for years. I'm fine with it
I still have the X3 Pro, thanks to you after watching your video, and it still holds up like new! Except I went out and custom rom-ed it with Pixel Experience. It is still a good phone to this day and the only downside of it is the IPS display
Used to have the X3 Pro, but dead boot issue last month. I tried avoiding Poco afterwards but upon surveys, it'll bring me back to the X5 Pro...might going to consider

Forget about the Galaxy A53, It's a super slow phone, Slow charging, slow performance, slow camera and it's thick. I had the A53 for about 2 months and it was a big disappointment, so I sold it and got a Redmi Note 10 Pro.. If you are set on Samsung, For the same price now day you can get the Galaxy S21 FE 5G which is decent handset with good performance and camera speed.

After 9 months of having the A53 it went into a reboot loop, kept rebooting automatically whenever it wanted to which happened like 50x a day. I went to the repair 4 times, using my insurance but they kept saying its a software problem and each time always reloaded the whole android software. Which did not help at all so now i gave up trying to fix that phone. My worst decision bjying that samsung, will never buy samsung because of this ever again. Now i have an 80eur phone as my backup. But want to get the poco x5 now.

To put it in perspective, I paid less, 10 months ago, for a new 8/256 F3, than the early bird price now of the 6/128 X5 5G! The X5 Pro is only £50 cheaper than an F4. The F4 looks a better buy.

The battery capacity is the same but the X5 Pro has more autonomy since it has a more energy efficient processor, otherwise the X5 Pro is better
Depends... Amoled/lcd new one probbly got better cam but with not so weaker chip... Not that weak tho.. 778 got better GPU and more efficient cpu... Better charging... So yea its worth an upgrade... It might not be the top of the like SOC but its comparable to 860 plus where I'm from 5G's been alot of help pulling 700-850 mbps upl and 100+ mbps dl so...
I think I'll just stick with the X4 because I find it works fine for me and I don't take pictures or videos that much so I'm not too rushed to use a 4K camera
man, POCO keeps shooting itself in the foot with their recent releases. remember the F1 and the X3 Pro which challenged how phones are priced relative to their performance? now its just your basic midrange brand. still rocking my launch X3 Pro with 400GB external storage and looks like I won't be changing it out anytime soon thanks to custom ROMs and kernels.
in my place poco x3pro has serious issues.Many of them get get damaged on gpu and ram which very expensive and no part available on service centre.mostly because heavy usage and heavy modification. Did it happen in Us or europe too?my place is tropical so its already high temperature plus heavy usage cause damage on ram and gpu which unfortunately upside down/ sandwich construction tipe. A stain on legendary poco x3 series reputation{sad}

Looks nice. Coming from my X3 Pro I was considering the X4 GT but I think I could step away from the Dimensity 8100 for a still-decent SoC, better display, and slightly better camera, not to mention probably staying on the update radar a year longer. I'm not a mobile gamer so SD778G would do just fine, I have used a Galaxy A73 at length and it doesn't have any performance shortfalls for 95% of users.
I think a lot of people (including me) will rant that the Poco X3 Pro beats this new generation of device, released after 2 years! Only the AMOLED screen and the 108MP camera is better, otherwise it is almost identical to X3 Pro. Plus, there is a microSD card slot in the X3. I like Poco phones, but this is not worth to change my X3 Pro with the X5 Pro.
Honestly I'd change mine X3 Pro to the X5 Pro, no complaints about mine but the 778G chip is equally as good as the 860, this phone also has AMOLED screen and I don't even game on mine, I just want the best performance to get better longevity, would definitely swap if I had the chance.
Two reasons I can think of, one is after over two years the battery will be getting tired, which means a strip down to replace it, secondly the increased time span for os and security updates 😊
Question: Does the Poco X5 play 4K.MP4 files from the gallery? On the X4 it does not play high resolution videos and consequently I can't upload them onto instagram!
I have the X4 Pro as a backup phone. I like it but seriously it's still on Android 11....they update the system apps and that's it which i a shame seeing it has an sd card slot and jack.. Also they have this habit of dropping ads with the apps which I hate like I open the browser or gallery and wham bamm ADS so be warned if you hate that kind of thing.

I got a question, should i get this phone or the Samsung a53?, i come from an old iphone 6 plus (that was stolen a month ago), and my main concern is reliability, durability, software support and camera performance.
I use a MI8 and altough I had to tweak the settings because it wasn't as straight forward as I thought, gestures do work with Nova launcher. Been running with no issues for around 3+ years (when I decided to try Nova).
I've got my eyes on the Redmi 12 Pro + (Not discovery edition) but just seen this now & peeps are saying 200MP camera is just gimmick. Which would you say is best? (yes I know I'd have to import Redmi 12Pro +) Thx for the great content.
off course its not a gimmick 200 mp can provide extra detail when you zoom in at your raw picture but its require you activate 200 mp mode(camera) which greatly increased size per picture you made.
12TPro apparently is the higher end version ...but I was advised to skip 12T . If sufficient budget just go for the better specification and processing on 12T Pro

I got Poco x5 pro. The sound is not that high and I have trouble with Bluetooth (connecting to speakers it gives low volume). However I easily downloaded a well reviewed sound booster and only boosted the phone speakers for 20% and it's great. And it also imported the sound when connecting via Bluetooth to speakers. Side note: I'm having some Bluetooth issues connecting to my car to make phone calls though

Could you please do a comparison between the X5 pro and the xiaomi mi 11 Lite 5g ne since the price for that model dropped to around the same price. ( if you still have that model).
The x3 pro imo you don't need to upgrade from. Basically the only real pros to the X5 Pro over X3 pro, is that the screen is AMOLED, which just means better contrast, slightly bigger battery, and a slightly better camera. The X3 pro is a significantly faster phone, like 25% more performance I believe. You really shouldn't upgrade unless there is something glaringly wrong with your phone rn

@@Dr.Akakia for you perhaps it is, for me it isn't, we all have different requirements for a device.
The x3 pro imo you don't need to upgrade from. Basically the only real pros to the X5 Pro over X3 pro, is that the screen is AMOLED, which just means better contrast, slightly bigger battery, and a slightly better camera. The X3 pro is a significantly faster phone, like 25% more performance I believe. You really shouldn't upgrade unless there is something glaringly wrong with your phone rn
