Man... that Bass guitar. What a solid player. This is no distraction from the rest of the amazing band - they are all tight. Awesome job to all!
Wes and Jason are friggin' ROCKS!
he is indeed phenomenal. check out his other band the funky knuckles. superb.
Yes so true
I like very much the Bass Player 😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉❤
You are so incredible, really everything that you say through your music has some how helped "in a great way" rehabilitate to a great degree my sister who is greatly disabled due to a tragic accident and when I found You , I knew you had a portion of the cure, it's working so please keep the wonderful music coming our way, thanks sooooo much
I think that UA-cam should allow me to "like" this more than just once! How about a "love" button maybe?
That was awesome Mark!!! One of the most melodic songs I’ve heard in a long time. The first half reminds me of Larry Carlton with your incredible chordal work. You have a killer band.
I love this song ❤
Love the sly stone Riff sweet 😊
That line Mark plays at 6:00 is SO funky
Mr. @mjlettieri, what a finesse, what a refinement in your playing and those of your musicians, it's a pleasure 🤩 and a joy 👋 to listen to and to let ourselves be carried away in this groove which starts so softly in beautiful melody and harmony and ends so intensely. Huge thanks 🙏and congrats for this beautiful jewel 🎸🎼🎵🎶that you have forged and that you offer us 💝 !!!
Ditto. This inspires me to play and practice more😊❤❤
Thanks for the motivation 😊
Great tune, awesome dynamics and tones. The whole band is killing it👌🏼 🎸🥁 🎹 🔥

This band has no limits. Stratospheric at every level. WONDERFUL. The music is exquisite and the performance unparalel. Keep making this world a better place to be!
That’s just some tasty playing by everyone! 🙏🏻

Can we buy the full concert on DVD when it's out? Amazing stuff!
That guitar tone kinda reminded me of an old lenny kravitz guitar tone from way back in the days. Loved it man
Wow, extra special, indeed! What a pleasure to see and hear this.
What Wes Montgomery would be playing @ 101 yr old this year
It is indeed Extraspecial

A little nod to Cissy Strut. 🙌🏻
Naw. We went into, well Wes is playing(in the vamp/outro... 5:30ish) the bass line to Sing A Simple Song- Sly & The Family Stone
What constellation did you from? Geniuses!!! Beyond belief: greeting from Argentina 😊
Will this be available on vinyl?
Yes! Later this year.
Thought I was the only one running away from downloads😂
Is that Bob Lanzetti peeking in from side stage?!
Excelent ❤❤❤❤❤ what guitar does Mark use. ?
Larry Coryell was my guitar god for years & years(I even got to meet him & told him he gave me more musical pleasure than anyone living or dead!). Mark Lettieri is my new guitar god, because he just has a tremendous feel for his music & where to take it note by note. This group of Mark, Wes, JT & Daniel are otherworldly. In a phrase they are "fucking awesome."
I wonder if Mark is tempted to write simpler songs for live performance. I play guitar and one of the most difficult things for me are issues like making sure levels are right such as making sure there is sufficient base volume and there is headroom for leads, and appropriate when switching different effects on and off and remembering to make those changes. Setting things up initially like using a programmed switcher so that I don't have to try to tap dance, managing right hand techniques in the heat of the battle. It can be quite a litany of details that just increases with the complexity and built in subtleties of the performance of a song. Mark seems really good at these types of things.
Wow. That was a lot. The simple answer is, no, he didn’t write “simple songs” for live shows. This song in particular is from an older record we did. We did songs from all of his records. We may tweak little things here and there for live shows, but that’s usually in stretching the form, making the songs longer or adding vamps etc…As far as “setting up/balance/technique” things, check out some of Marks “gear talk/rig walk through/guitar nerd😂” vids.
Gotta love new school guitar player stank-face + shoulder shrugs at 3:00 ~ Much better than 80's guitar player stank-face
🤣🤣🤣
first
Love it
