Agree. One of the best metal singers. I would say one of the best singers I ever heard. AMAZING. HIS VOICE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and so hard to reach and imitate. A genius.

I'm not a hipster, I was listening to WASP and similar bands since the early 80's. I'm more-so the opposite of a hipster. Also, genius implies that a person has an uncommon or rare insight, intelligence, or talent of some sort. For example, if someone is a Quantum Physicist, we tend to refer to him as being very intelligent. However, if EVERYONE could understand quantum physics, then we wouldn't hold Quantum Physicists in such high regards by referring to them as geniuses. Same thing with Blackie Lawless. If everyone out there had the same insights, ability to express themselves musically the way he does or recognize the depth of his music, then he wouldn't be genius. He would just be another one of us.

I have been a W.A.S.P. fan for years. Blackie never ceases to amaze me with his talent and the range of music he has.
Pure quality. Saw him in Leeds in Dec 2009 and he's still got it. Budget may have come down, and he was doing his own smoke machine... but hell can that man sing! Absolutely loved the concert. As they say in sports, form is temporary... but class is permanent. Oh yeah.
Matt Alderman loved you guys as I did. He's since went onto meet God via suicide after years of service to his country. The good times we had were listening to W.A.S.P. Thanks for the memories Glenn

from day one , first band to see when i was 14 in 1986 saw them open for my fav band of all times kiss on the asylum tour , wasp last command tour .. awesome bill and time in history looking back ...blackie still shows his devotion to rock all these years ..keep it up..rock out
That's when I saw them! I was in high school and was blown away by Blackie's voice. KISS will always be number one in my heart, but W.A.S.P. is just as important in my life.
