Any diesel engine will run off of any cooing oil as long as the oil is at minimum 71 degrees. The big issue no one seems to mention is what will it cost us to fuel our military when the society in zero emissions? This is a dangerous path not to find an alternative fuel that’s zero emissions to fuel our military before it’s pushed forced upon the society. Further more how is it not a dictator when the government forces you to comply with the norm they are pushing? You have no choice which means you have no freedom…………..
There is a lot of things that have to be done infrastructure wise before zero emissions and electric trucks can be implemented in mass scale. The way our government operates there is no way those things can be fixed in 15 years. They're too busy funding other countries instead of our own.
Nothing is stopping them from starting that back up once the new president's 4 year term is up. Some more things still need to change to protect the populous.

I don't think they are so much leftist as they are trying to roll back the Industrial Revolution and bring the 1700s back. Even hard-core Communist countries have cars and trucks.
Here's something to ponder...all the fire trucks ambulances, and police cars in California. They are NOT electric or battery powered. Those essential vehicles need to be dependable and reliable....and fast, and be able to go far. Not to be left to chance for an unreliable and unsafe technology.
I’m all for cleaner air for our kids and whatnot but Cali was definitely taking wayyyyy to far. With the new tunes they have these days you can get great power without all the crazy rolling coal(unless you want it lol) and you don’t have to restrict the motor with all the suffocating DEF crap which would in turn lead to more reliable motors again!
Hi Alex can you do a segment on CARB, I’m from LA and my city is still on fire. Oregon sent equipment to help the firefighters fight the fires. They first had to be inspected to be allowed to proceed to the fires, some were denied because they didn’t meet the standards mean while people died and homes burned, instead of allowing them to proceed and help the fires UNBELIEVABLE maybe you can find out if this is true or not Thanks
They are feeling the heat from all the Trucks that are not coming to California to deliver goods. Let them support themselves. California as well as Oregon, is still not in my map books.
A state can do what they can in their borders. But I don't have to enter that state, they're one of 50. I as a individual can just decide I don't cross into that state for any reason. Find someone who will, it ain't going to be me.
Emissions needs to be a federal standard which limits ca to the rest of the country. We have the right to free movement with our property, including our vehicles.
The government went about this the wrong way. The use of fossil fuels cannot be phased out at the consumer level. It must be phased out technologically.
California is on its way to plains. Major winds, bark beetles eating up trees, drought, sparks, idots. I hope the redwood forest does not go up. That is just too precious!!
More importantly what California has realized is that it is impossible for that to happen, and if they want goods and services in the state of California, they’re gonna have to abandon that whole crazy idea. It was ridiculous in the first place.
I all for going with clean air. But we definitely are not ready yet and forcing every one to go electric is not the way to do it. For the most part trucks are very clean compared to back in the 80s.

No he wanted it to run in the most abundant fuel of the time , Coal!
The coal dust he was burning was too abrasive so he switched to vegetable oils
@@josephpadula2283 Interesting. Didn't know that. Certainly makes sense.
There is a lot of things that have to be done infrastructure wise before zero emissions and electric trucks can be implemented in mass scale. The way our government operates there is no way those things can be fixed in 15 years. They're too busy funding other countries instead of our own.
They always do this than they mandate phases or requirements that are actually feasible when the time comes. It's the same stuff every few yrs
Wow! California is allowing people to this! Thank u your Hines!!!
thanks for telling us the truth & not selling out
Hopefully, we can get california to get rid of AB 5.
They might as well just get rid of trucking in general and see how America does without.
And see how important we are and leave us alone
Nothing is stopping them from starting that back up once the new president's 4 year term is up. Some more things still need to change to protect the populous.
Frac frac frac drill drill drill and sell sell sell to 173 countries and 3 U.S. territories. While importing In 2023, the United States imported about 8.51 million barrels per day (b/d) of petroleum from 86 countries. None of us is making money with these practices. Only the top 1%.
Probably knew that they would loose in court, so delaying
@MuthaTruckerOfficial-w1c Will do
They also have to drop their stupid 55 mph limit
Agreed
Now LOWER THE INSURANCE!!!
I had to put $6550 down and pay $2188.89 a month. This is double my Mortgage.
I wonder is because of the fires they’re retracting all kinds of stuff now🧐🧐
Alot of supplies have to come in to rebuild after the fires
This means nothing for the owner operator...and in a way i wish California stuck with their stupid deadline so they can experience what a shortage of trucks feels like
As a Californian who opposes these emission laws it’s still not over until we get rid of carb and the epa and also as long as there’s people and politicians who are in favor of these leftist policies it’s still gonna be alive and well along with the corruption, reckless spending and over taxing in my beloved state 😢
I don't think they are so much leftist as they are trying to roll back the Industrial Revolution and bring the 1700s back.
Check this out... 60 Oregon Firefighter trucks are being held back because they are not CA compliant 😂. They'd rather let people die than get help.
That state needs to remember, and be reminded often that truckers do not need California...however California does in fact need big trucks, badly.
Hi Alex can you do a segment on CARB, I’m from LA and my city is still on fire. Oregon sent equipment to help the firefighters fight the fires. They first had to be inspected to be allowed to proceed to the fires, some were denied because they didn’t meet the standards mean while people died and homes burned, instead of allowing them to proceed and help the fires UNBELIEVABLE maybe you can find out if this is true or not
Thanks
Hmmmmm im confused if everyone in California is driving a electric vehicle who will pay for the roads and road maintenance???🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
They are feeling the heat from all the Trucks that are not coming to California to deliver goods. Let them support themselves. California as well as Oregon, is still not in my map books.
A state can do what they can in their borders. But I don't have to enter that state, they're one of 50. I as a individual can just decide I don't cross into
that state for any reason.
It wont be phased out at all once cara start flying with rocket thrusters
California is on its way to plains. Major winds, bark beetles eating up trees, drought, sparks, idots. I hope the redwood forest does not go up. That is just too precious!!
The state of California has destroyed trucking companies that were passed down from families.
MAKE TRUCKING GREAT AGAIN!
Great news for the trucking industry! Let’s GO!
More importantly what California has realized is that it is impossible for that to happen, and if they want goods and services in the state of California, they’re gonna have to abandon that whole crazy idea. It was ridiculous in the first place.
Thanks for the great news Alex
No problem!!!
@@MuthaTrucker we all know electric vehicles for trucking won't be able to pull certain weight on that trailer it will drain a battery power quick
@wilfordfootball79 well said definitely 💯 % agree with you
Doesn't matter what the government does I will always have a diesel and a deleted one at that.
I think that’s a great idea. We should not have electric trucks. You can’t go the distance with the electric truck.
I agree, I don’t like electric vehicles at all..
@BrittanySmith-e1t i think all electric vehicles and trucks should be banned.
Really being truly. I think they are no good.
@@davidclewis7359 Me either dear!! The country is getting crazy!!
I agree
Theres more pollution in building EVs then regulat cars too@@davidclewis7359
I all for going with clean air. But we definitely are not ready yet and forcing every one to go electric is not the way to do it. For the most part trucks are very clean compared to back in the 80s.
Amazing 👏🏽 🤩 News 📰🗞!!!
How do we abolish CARB? Do away with them as a non critical entity? The sooner the better. I do not ever recall voting for this board.
Sooo…. Is it time to throw out all the trash on my pickup? Catalytic converter? EGR valve? Smog pump? And anything else on it that the EPA forced manufacturers to install on it to “save the environment”? Oh, I already did that. It runs great.
And used less fuel, I bet!
I always hated EGR. At part throttle, makes the engine feel about 50 cubic inches smaller.
Time for the people that voted for these idiots to wake up and realize they are part of the problem.
