That's mesmerizing. Lots of wires, subtle interventions/manipulations, delicate tones, and occasional pops and glitches. It's really nice watching you work!
Thanks so much!!! I'm so happy to hear you liked it. I've been enjoying a morning coffee while catching up with jams on here a bit recently too. Always a nice start to the day to hear what people are up to! My process is pretty chaotic at times - just playing, tweaking, sticking cables in, ripping them out again... although I guess that most people are like that! I'll see if I can make a video showing the process sometime - wonder if I can do it. The professionals make it look easy, but I bet it's not! 😅

Dreamy and so nice to the ears :) as always ! those little signature cracks or glitches are crispy and delicious. Was wondering if the kick is programmed to a certain pattern (16 or 32 steps maybe ? ) Cheers 🍻
Thanks so much, Bertrand! Always really appreciate your thoughtful comments. I think the kick is only on an 8 beat loop, but 2HP Slice is doing some glitching. I sent a trigger to slice with a /7 clock to keep that a little irregular.
@@bertrandvanasch yeah, I think they're a little similar. I don't know about Freeze, but Slice can be clocked and loops segments of recorded audio when it receives a gate. It can be set to triplets too for some more randomness
@@yassokiiba yes slice looks great for rolls and ratchets ! and sounds great. freez can't be clocked , ony triggered, and can sound funny when loop size is modulated, it also have a bitcrusher function, it's fun too but a bit different. I could use one of each 😅 !
Terrific (as always)! I concur with the comment below suggesting you should make a "behind the scene" type of video, there'd be many of us who would be delighted to find out how you go about creating your pieces and obtaining your distinctive style & sound! (you can delete it after a few days, we promise we shan't divulge any of your secret tips and techniques! :p )
Thanks so much for the nice comment!!! I wasn't 100% I got this one right tbh (think it might have been better with a lower frequency drone/melody and perhaps a little more intrigue in the beat) so I'm really happy to hear you like it! I've been thinking over how to make a process video. I'll see if I can find a way to make it work - no secrets here! 😂
The churning feeling your music gives me reminds me that we are meant to change and grow ✨️ 🙏
Very nice .....cool sounds , laid back vibes. Perfect for some outdoor lounging. Great stuff, as always, man. 🍻
Thanks so much!!! :) Really appreciate the nice comments!!!

Thank you - sooo happy you liked this!

Thanks so much for listening and for the lovely comments. Appreciate it a lot :)
Real nice sound, great drum sounds. Love the mix of random melody with a more steady beat 💛😁
Thanks so much!!!! :)

LOVED your last video, btw
Yasso: the pioneer of modular minimalism!
Haha!!! Thank you! Was worried I went a bit too 'micro' this time
Listening to this one over morning coffee. Love it. ☕️ you should do a tutorial video on how you construct these. Would be cool to see your process.

@@yassokiiba well this 2HP slice sounds very good. Got a 2hp freez and i like it too , have to check what are the differences between the 2.
