Amen to people ratting on things that they don't know anything about. People shouldn't blindly accept things without understanding the truth. Most of the ingredients in high-end products are also in low-end products, and vice-versa.
Amen. People love preaching about things they have only heard online and have not researched themselves.
Of all the people I follow on UA-cam, all the tutorials I love, I never get such a rush of excitement as when I see that you have posted an empties vid!!!

I loved what you said about Pantene shampoo... It's always the best to try things yourself to know for sure!
The problem with pantene is that the silicone seals down the cuticle of your hair. that is what makes your hair so nice and silky and shiny. but when your cuticle is sealed down like that it makes it hard for other products and chemicals to penetrate your hair shaft ie: hair masks, hair color, bleach, perm solution. So when you go to do any of these services some don't work, or you may need a stronger product or more processing time witch will cause more damage.
u can take a sharp blade and scrape the silicone off your hair, you will see a white flaky residue.
I've drenched myself in oils with each pregnancy, yet I still look like a road map! 😩 Consider yourself VERY lucky!
My midwife told me that doesn't matter how much stuff the slather on your skin your skin is either elastic enough to stretch with pregnancy or its not.. I was very lucky I didn't get any stretch marks either with both my pregnancies and I used nothing on my skin but both my sisters are as you describe your self Lauren road maps

Ready Set Gorgeous foundation has become my holy grail since you first mentioned it. Cant beat the price and amazing coverage and blend ability. SO GOOD! Everyone try it if your normal to oily. Dry skin may love it too!

It's a little pricy for the full size, but you can get a smaller size in some kits for around $14. Love your channel Tiffany!

If you have dry skin DO NOT BUY IT. Also, idk if it is just the shade I got but it is VERY yellow and I found the it became patchy and gross through the day
OMG I am WITH you on the Pantene business! I love it and it's the only thing that's kept my blonde hair split end free! People can dog it all they want but I love it even more than Kerastase! Have you tried the Pantene BB leave in for hair? OBSESSED. Changed my hair completely. Also the brush that comes with that Nars "palette" is a mini ITA brush, which is like a 55 dollar brush so its a great deal! It's perfect for contouring!

I have that aveeno oil and I really like it too! I couldn't figure out what the smell was until one day it hit me, it smells exactly like a cherry tootsie pop!

I swear the Yes to Tomatoes facial scrub is even better than the grapefruit. Between that scrub and the Mychelle Pumpkin Renew Cream(every night) I've had some seriously happy and clear skin the past month :)

Completely agree with you on Pantene! If something works than who cares? Keeps my hair shiny and clean just like my floors.
Btw think it's just your retread, maybe got a bad one, or went through different temperatures? My retread is thick and fabulous!
I've been using Pantene Aqua Light for years, and my hair is longer than tailbone now and in excellent health. I don't buy all the Pantene "myths" either. ;-)
I loved your Pantene rant. I totally understand like if people actually researched products and the ingredients in them I feel as if many people will be surprised. I've learned that a lot of companies tell you to not use products with so and so ingredients in it as just a marketing scheme. But I love your empties videos !!!!!
you are very right about pantene. it's my all time favourite hair brand as well. i use the pantene aqua light - silicon free shampoo and conditiner, and also the leave in spray (helps me brush my hair better) for years!!! i dont know how many bottles i finished but everyone says that my hair smells amazing all the time, plus it doesnt make my hair oily or heavy...
Absolutely LOVE the almond oil! The only cleanser that doesn't strip my skin.

Used Retread years ago and loved it. Purchased it recently again in Dublin, Ireland and agree that it is not the same. Really runny and not very conditioning.

I use the Caudalie grapewater to spray on my foundation brush before applying my foundation. It applies is smooth and takes care of any rough, dry patches I might have :)
The Big lush Conditioner is a conditioner you should try, gave me so much volume and i really felt a difference in my hair.

You go girl with your Pantene rant! I too have been using Pantene for years and people comment on how healthy my hair is, even my stylist. Then they go on and talk about that 'bad' ingredient in it and I just let them talk...while my hair is healthy, strong and shiny. Ha!
Pantene is the best! I used different products over the past year and had to convert back. Nothing conditions my dry hair like Pantene.
I am SO glad you said the thing about the floor wax. I get so angry when people compare ingredients like that... especially in food. Chemistry is so complex that you cannot compare ingredients.
Since LUSH products are handmade, sometimes you can get a tub that is a little off in consistency. I would try another batch of Retread!

Here in Japan refills for shampoos and conditioners are available so that there is less plastic waste. I only bought one bottled shampoo in 3 years and since then I've been buying refills from different brands. Hopefully other companies also incorporate this practice. Just saying. :D

Hi Tiffany! Love your honesty :) I use that Retread conditioner and I love it! I've been digging it for a year or so, so not sure if that helps, I don't think it's runny anyway. Btw, my Laguna gets also very crumbly when I hit pan, I feel ya :/ Thank you for the mini reviews, you 're great.
i do the same thing with scents, after awhile it just smells so gross and i can't use it, my husband always asks why i buy so many different products, he does not understand, especially now that i am pregnant.
About Retread...sometimes they make it thicker, sometimes it's thinner...
I always open it in the store and look if it's thick enough...and only then I buy it. :)
I always buy the retread conditioner by lush but since I can recall the consistency has never been thick or runny it's more like in between.
The little brush that comes with the NARS bronzer looks like a mini Ita brush.
It is, I have the same palette and is advertised as the ita :)

I love the new MAC MSFN packaging, but I still hate how it's a bubble shape-- I feel like I sweep off so much product with my brush as opposed to having any little dustings and stuff stay within the packaging! I wish the product was flat or recessed! :(

I know Pantene, like most shampoos and conditioners, don't use the healthiest of ingredients. But I did used to really enjoy the line for curly hair. The deep conditioner worked wonders in my hair, and even the mousse made my hair form the best curls and ringlets. I just wish the line would be brought here to the UK now that I've moved here :-(
I agree with you bout the Lush Retread, I thought I'd got water in my is was nothing like I use to have.
I've not had that experience with Retread but I think as a whole LUSH has consistency issues. I used to love Olive Branch but the last one I purchased seemed different.
I certainly wish NARS would bring out that laguna packaging but with a replaceable laguna because I go through them so fast I wish you could buy replacement pans for it and keep the packaging lol

The silicone used in flooe wax and that used for personal care products is a different grade and is therefore NOT THE SAME THING! These people should research more before dissing something. And I agree with you, Pantene works :). You go, girl!

As a hairstylist, I have been trained to only use "professional" products. And I've heard that Pantene can make it hard to color your hair. But honestly, I don't know if I buy that. Like makeup, and we all know how that works, there are some good "professional"/expensive products and good cheap stuff, and good and bad expensive stuff. I get my shampoo and conditioner at the beauty supply store, because for me it's cheap there, but for the average person, or someone like Tiffany who likes her Pantene, go for it. Use what you want. If you are looking for a drugstore shampoo, use the bigger brands, because they're more likely to research and put more money into the product because they have more, if you want something good and "professional" Joico is amazing, or I use L'Oreal Professional.
I have a hair stylist friend and she told me NEVER USE pantene...I have used them before (more than 5 yrs ago)but now I usually buy big bottles of shampoo in TJ MAXX because it's better value so I don't have an opinion about pantene...... That claim always intrigues me...
Love you and all your videos! Watched all your pregnancy videos as I went through my own pregnancy (2nd son)..We seem to like a lot of the same products (Pantene included lol). Just wondering, do you blow dry your hair or air dry as I also have fine hair and when I leave it to air dry it never looks as nice as yours. What do you do? Congrats btw on baby Olivia, she's beautiful.
I completely agree... Who cares what brand or the cost of things if they work?! Different things work for different people. Shouldn't knock it til you try it!
Love your empties videos. I'm addicted to the Caudalie Beuty Elixir as ell even though the second ingredient is alcohol and I can make a better face mist. The Grapewater is a waste of money though. Evian or Voss water is amazing in a spray bottle for the whole body and hair to body to balance PH after a tap water chemical bath.
Do you put a few drops of saline in your mascara? It definitely helps the drying out!
I finally got around to buying Retread after you raved about it a while ago. My hair is super thick. I am very disappointed in it. For something that is supposed to be deep conditioning, it has an extremely thin consistency. I'm very disappointed in it. It does not condition well at all and leaves my hair so dry. Like you, I take a scoop out of the container and I rub my hands together to get it to emulsify first and it just turns to like water.
I love pantene shampoo. Ive tried other shampoo but i have a really oily scalp nothing worked as good. So i went back to my holy grail.
Yes lush retread condition is very watery now.. I was wondering if it's mine only. Doesn't work the same way it used to be, for me American cream is more nourishing than retread.i won't be repurchasing it lol...

Lush has reformulated a lot of my favorite products throughout the past year or so so they are not as good anymore 😁😁. In particular I used to use the shampoo bars and now they don't last nearly as long as the used to.
