Congrats. I had a not so good experience when I picked up my 2023 Model Y Performance in Brentwood, TN. Scratches on the front and rear bumper that they were able to buff out, paint blemish on one door, they could not fix. The rear passenger side quarter panel; the clear coat was rough. It was buffed out but I could still feel the roughness of the paint finish. Then the last was the misalignment of the rear trunk lid. They said they could not fix it. I adjusted the bump stop on the right side and that fixed the problem. The service center's lack of give a !@#$ is appalling. I figured out how to fix it by trial and error.
That’s unfortunate, they need to work on making the delivery experience consistent and communicating better if there are issues with the car. Its an expensive purchase and the last thing you should have to worry about are defects.

I’ve never driven a MDX so can’t really speak on it but the Model Y does drive very smooth and the suspension coupled with the comfy seats is results in a very nice driving experience. To answer your questions the delivery estimates you see on the order page are quite accurate when you order and yes if you have the LFP battery you can charge up to 100% regularly. I don’t think the Long Range versions use LFP so it’s recommended to charge up to 80/90% for daily driving and 100% if going on road trips

No, from what I’ve come across online I think the rumored radar sensor is only on the Model X and S. Probably because the hardware is more expensive. I do have the new cameras and HW4 though which is nice 😊

I built mine since I wanted the white seats. I think the inventory builds are most likely hardware 3 but you can double check by looking up the VIN. There should be online forums that show which range of vins are HW4 vehicles
congrats.. a tip for super charging. the more charge that is in the battery the slower it charges. next time just charge it to like 60 or 70% at the super charger and drive it until its like 10%.. it will save you a lot of time

Thanks! The main differences I’d say is the ability to do one pedal driving because of regenerative braking and charging your car at home as opposed to having to occasionally go to the gas station.
congrats on your ride , but hardware 3 & 4 needs to fix the blind spot monitor on highways when driving not only when turning the side signals...thats one safety feature evryone needs.and hopfully tesla fixes it .
usually in teslas blind spots when any vehicle on ur side riding on highways or city’s the vehicle will be red …. but that feature hasn activated yet , the feature which u have is when. u put ur turn signals to change a lane .. then vehicle on ur side become red

@@lawmbass Anything that's not an EV something that you drive yet you still feel like it controls you not a tesla or an SUV this is something you would feel with any car that has more than 200hp but I guess you normal people will never grow a bond with your cars anyway so what's the point trying to explain it you only feel this when you truly care about your car when you feel close to your car and grow a bond with it but a Tesla or most SUV's lack the features that will give you that ability your supposed to be willing to fix it yourself with your money when insurance doesn't pay but you won't be able to with a Tesla because they won't sell you the parts and then you fix it yourself it won't work because every part had a software that must be downloaded to make it work you have to be able to feel in control but not at the same time but a Tesla when aautopilot is on you have no control and when its off you have too much control you need to know that if you take a corner to fast you will lose controland have to trust your car but a Tesla had so many systems to stop that you will never feel that a car should be fun and more than a mode of transportation and a Tesla is more than that but in a bad way its a overpriced mode of transportation and when its wrecked if insurance won't pay it WILL bankrupt you
I get where you’re coming from, you sound like a car enthusiast and nothing is wrong with that but keep in mind that not everyone wants to deal with that kind of stuff when owning a car. Driving an EV i’d argue is probably the most fun I’ve had on the road because of the instant torque. Autopilot is awesome too for boring bumper to bumper traffic. You should go for a free test drive to understand what I mean. At the end of the day its just a vehicle for transportation and EVs are built to have low maintenance by design which is great for the majority of buyers.
Yes as of now all new Model Ys produced from Austin and Fremont have HW4 i.e Austin HW4 switch date: Jun 4 2023. (VIN PA131200 ++ - all VIN after do have HW4) Fremont HW4 switch date: May 24 2023. (VIN PF789500 ++ - all VIN after do have HW4) If you buy one from existing inventory you might end up getting HW3 so check the VIN before accepting delivery
