The puns were coming Bel-fast and furious for Jay on this excursion!😅
Great video representation of our wee country.Thank you so much and hope you come back some day.loved it and God Bless.
Can't believe how much you managed to see of our wee corner in a day. So pleased the weather was as lovely as our guests ;)
The black and white bird was an Oyster Catcher, I do believe.
Correct
I don't believe those rocks are all naturally formed like that. Beautiful.
Watching a previous American tourist and her comment was that the Giants Causeway was built for a movie.Made me chuckle😂😂😂
19:15 I've always been a Titanic nut (maybe the reason I am a cruise ship nut) so I love this!
I did a land trip to Ireland back in 2018 and spent a day up in Northern Ireland. It was late November, so much shorter days and not as pleasant weather. If i remember correctly, that first castle was used for the exterior of the Greyjoy's home in Game of Thrones. Also, i have a fear of heights and walked across that rope bridge; as soon as i got 1/3 of the way across it started pouring and wind picked up and there were too many people for me to backtrack. I was pretty shaken. 🤣
Love the music on this video!
The Splenda thing is funny to me. My parents keep one in our house (we're not coffee drinkers) for their visits.
Dee: The band… I cannot remember the name! We’ll look it up at some point…
Jay: Probably not…
That had me laughing so hard!!! 😂🤪
These videos have piqued my interest in a British Isles cruise. So scenic and interesting.
I have to agree too on all the different shades of green. So beautiful. We were at the Causeway in May of this year it too is beautiful. Lots & lots of sheep everywhere. We went to sleep ranch to learn how the sheep are sheared & to learn about the sheep dogs. They are amazing so so smart. Got to hold a 2 day old lamb a 9 week old puppy & watched a 12 week old puppy that had no training whatsoever work some baby lambs. Just bread into them. Went to the museum too. We weren't on a cruise we were on a bus tour of Ireland and Scotland.
Dee, I agree; so many beautiful shades of green. The views from the causeway were lovely and the fish and chips looked delicious. 😋 Jay, I loved your choice of music going through the Titanic Museum. It is very moving to see items from that tragedy. See you tomorrow! 👍🙂
the Carrick ca ree rope bridge is absolutely terrifying to cross especially when its windy...
I’ve been to many of the places you went in this video. My family lives not far from Belfast. Thank you for bringing back some good memories.
The causeway reminds me of the Devils Post Pile I'm Yosemite National Park. The difference is that the causeway looks like it could have been there much longer based on the rock erosion.
Your around the world cruise has been amazing so far; I`m blown away by your planning skills! Ireland is absolutely beautiful; and they seem to have done an amazing job of the Titanic museum; looks incredibly well done. So sad though. As you said though good things have come from it as far as maritime safety is concerned; unfortunately it happens so often in history that it takes a great tragedy to change safety rules.
Hi Dee and Jay. Thanks for the memories. Great video. Oh yes, all the beautiful cliff's. "40 shade's of green". Lot's of sheep all over.
Loved the bagpipes! IF I were to have a funeral I would want bagpipes played. So excited for your Scotland stop and the Outlander sites!
Fab video up to your usual standards Thank you Dee & Jay museum looks very interesting if a little sad 😢
Another great adventure!!! I'm so happy you are showing this ship, I'll be on her in Oct, reposition from Fort Lauderdale to Galveston, can't wait...
Thank you for your hard work again. We were fortunate enough to visit Belfast a just before covid but didn’t make it to the Giant’s Causeway so it was lovely to see through your eyes. Oh and need to add, I absolutely love Jay’s dad jokes.
First comment! Woo hoo I love y'all Kay and Dee and to anyone else I am currently watching the episode and have been the whole time while typing this comment so I will also be the first to watch the whole episode:) have a great weekend 😁😁😁
Awesome episode today!! Thanks so much 🙏 show me some love pretty please Jay and Dee 😁😁😁😁😁 P.S. The Scottish person was pretty cool playing the songs 🎵 😎 👌
I loved the Regal Princess Captain’s announcements. They were very informative.
I know it's the captains announcement, but he could have waited until the end of the Pipes thou. N.Ireland is beautiful, but I would be to busy sneezing with all those sheep. Can u imagine if titanic didn't sink. WOAH. GLAD you enjoyed yourselves on the 81 day cruise. 👋💕🇦🇺
So glad to see the 2 sisters duo on the violins on regal princess. We enjoyed listening to them in dec on ruby princess. They are so wonderful. Enjoy listening to them.
Y’all were in my ancestral lands! My ancestor Alexander McCullar came to America from County Antrim in the 1700’s. It has always been a dream of mine to visit. I have to admit between thinking about that and the Titanic I may have cried a little during this video. 😉
We totally enjoyed our cruise to ireland a few years ago. Loving seeing some sites we visited on our trip through your eyes. We, however did not get to see the northern areas. They are so beautiful!! Perhaps we can get back there some day!!
We also did Giants Causeway with Odyssey Tours. Slightly different itinerary - more coastline and no Titanic Museum (we did a Titanic museum in France). Also had to walk back up since we had no cash but it wasn’t that bad. Really enjoying reliving all of this with you.
Another great day out exploring, you guys! I absolutely love Belfast countryside. It’s definitely lush and so green! Thanks for taking me back. The Carrick-A-Rede Rode bridge is so much fun walking across.
I’m going on the wonder of the seas in September a day after our anniversary. Our anniversary is September 23 for 35 wonderful years and still going strong. My sister and daughter and my sister daughter is going. So it will a girls week to do nothing away from house cleaning and cooking.😀
Thanks Dee & Jay for another fun video!!
Maybe they will be leaving at 20:00:00 so try to be back at Stormont Wharf or where you got off to re-embark before 20:00:00
Just love this series. I wonder how many people get the “5 alive” reference.
They served white vinegar with the fries in Canada when we were there last month. No malt vinegar!
Haha Capt. Tim LOOOVES to talk.
6:58 I wouldn’t go all the way up there either. I’d probably note the clothing of someone who did (e.g. lady in red shirt with backpack) and kindly ask her if she’d share a photo with me!!
I've almost universally found that when the currency you have is worth more than the local currency you have no problems using it, when your currency is worth less, it's hard to use. I am a transplanted New Yorker living in Canada and when I've ended up after a trip with a bunch of U.S Currency no one has any problem taking it especially as a 1 to 1 rate. as the U.S dollars are usually always 30% more than the canadian dollar SImilarly Euro's is local businesses are smart they will take them , However even sometimes in Europe when a country uses theirown currency or is not in the EU as birtan is, Usually I think the pound has a buck or so on the euro and they would ** really** prefer to be paid in pounds, obviously in tourist areas they kinda have to accept Euro's , 25 years ago they kinda had to accept U.S Currency but that is truly becoiming a thing of the past
What about Movies Under The Stars on the Top Deck and large pizza to chew down on.
BTW, we hide the cows from coach tours ;)
The tour ye guys took to Giants Causeway, it picked you up at the port? Can you tell me what tour it was exactly? I'll be there in May.
Yes indeed! I think we linked the company in the video description, but this should be the actual tour we did: odysseycoachtours.co.uk/giants_causeway_tour/shore-excursion-giants-causeway-and-titanic-centre/
@@parodeejay thanks so much. Would’ve been great if they went to the Dark Hedges, but the port pick up is worth missing it.
I can see your coats hanging on the wall, what kind of hook do you use?
How were the mushy peas?
Places I’m never going to visit while cruising: 1. The titanic museum.
It wouldn’t bother me. The tragedy was over 110 years ago and so many things have changed since then to ensure that it doesn’t happen again. I think the history is interesting.
Interesting but not nearly as spectacular as Devil’s Tower in Wyoming
