    The Quran was written in the period of Prophet Mohammed PBUH. Later it was compiled in book form in the period of Caliphate Omer, overseen by a committee of prominent Companions of Prophet PBUH, who were entrusted in ensuring that there is no error in the master copy. Then during the period of Caliphate Osman seven copies were made and sent to various regions.

      You can't separate Islam out of it, the reason behind the origin of the calligraphy. So, it's Islamic calligraphy.

      Bruh, what have arabs done for Arabic calligraphy? Almost all good calligraphers are coming from Istanbul (Ottoman Empire). The Islamic Calligraphy has improved way more in Ottoman Empire

      @@BahtsizSSubay Almost ALL? whats your source to that claim? The calligraphy started in damascus and perfected in baghdad by many artists such as Ibn al-Bawwab, Ibn Muqla and Yaqut al Musta'simi. The only type of calligraphy that was invented during the Ottoman Empire was diwani and it was by Housam Roumi. You can say alot of people with different backgrounds developed the Arabic calligraphy but don't discard Arabs and give all the credit to the Turks.

      He didn't know any Jews or Christians around him so how can the Qur'an be bits and pieces also he was illiterate so he would have to speak to scribes who would write it down. this shows how it is a direct message from god telling him of the past and what to do in the present (at the time)

    • @barrymoore4470
      @barrymoore4470 Рік тому

      @@qasimalam2574 There were certainly Jewish and Christian communities in Arabia at the time, and as a merchant, Muhammad would almost certainly have come into contact with both Jews and Christians at various instances. The tradition insists that he was illiterate, but he very likely encountered stories and precepts transmitted orally from Jewish and Christian scriptures. He wasn't a tabula rasa who would have had no conception of the accounts and ideas revealed in the Qur'an.

      Absolutely wrong there were a Jews and christians tribes or communities at Muhammed (pbuh) time in mecca or medina or yemen and syria and the prophet contact with then in trading or dawa or politics situations. Waraqa ibn Nofal was Arabian ebionite and he was the cousin of Khadija (the prophet wife) .
